Great video! Though please invest in a pop filter, the harsh consonants are really noticeable.
As far as cases go I prefer the Killswitch case over the Jsaux The other accessories I really like are the Skull & Co. joystick caps they make them in the perfect color orange to match the oled orange power button or special edition. Lastly I really like the silicon joystick stem protectors make for no wear from plastic on plastics plus makes the joystick silent. The Oled SD is great for me a much more overall upgrade than going from a standard Switch to an Oled Switch.
Not tried the killswitch, but from what I can see it’s pretty similar. I don’t think you can go wrong with either tbh. I’m using the skull and co joycaps too 👍
Yup agreed, don't waste money on third party dock. I have both the OEM and the one that clips onto the back of Steamdeck. Third party dock shortchanged it with no audio output on the HDMI. However, I do use the Apple USB-C dongle with USB, HDMI and USB-C power input and use it in a pinch. I also have it mounted using 3M Hook and Loop used for EZPass tags and it works perfectly.
Id love to see your opinion on a tech backpack for the deck, organizers for the accessories, tablet holder and a couple of days worth of clothing. Ive looked at the JASUX sling bag and its a bit small for a commuting all in one back pack fo trips

Pretty good vid, definitely a lot of good info here. Slightly hilarious that you say that the official Valve dock is more reliable though, I have both an official dock and a JSAUX dock and for some reason the Valve dock no longer wants to output my Steam Deck to my monitor while my JSAUX dock still works fine. Oh well, guess I just got unlucky.

Since I already own lots of accessories I've come to a conclusion that I might need more compact "dock" for going out with the Deck.
So I've recently came across this Dockteck 5 in 1 multiport supporting 4K 60hz on Amazon and thought about maybe getting one, since I'm not really into these type of accessories I thought maybe you know a thing or two about it
Give it a go. If it’s fulfilled by amazon then you have easy returns if it turns out to be junk.

Apparently the JSAUX one has a firmware update that should fix any issues, but you have to download it from their website.

I’d advise against the Shargeek battery. I’ve already returned mine. Lots of reviews showing those going bad after only a couple months and that’s exactly what happened to mine. Something inside started hissing while charging. Immediately sent it back. Lithium batteries aren’t anything to mess around with especially since most people don’t have any way to put out a lithium battery fire.
That’s sucks. Not had any issues with mine and I use it regularly. Maybe it was a bad batch…
Quite possibly. I’ve just switched to a more recognizable brand. The Anker 737 is fantastic for anyone interested imo 🤷🏻♂️

Yes, it will on the newer backplate (the one with the centre vent)I’m using the original backplate though which is fine

Does anyone know if the jsaux case will fit my steam deck when using the dbrand killswitch v2 case?
It’s pretty similar to the mod case. I’d say it will fit fine, just probably not with the front cover attached.
