The steam deck controller lay out is one of the key reason i got the steam deck oled The controller is just genius when playing open world rpg games. The other being the battery life it several times longer than the Rog Ally when playing Mmo Rpg games like elden ring I get like 3 hours on the Deck and barely 1 hour on the ally
I play mainly FPS games and World of Warcraft so I got the Ally! ROG Ally really is the best option for focusing on multiplayer competitive games. But the Deck is the best handheld overall with battery and utility! But I am also familiar with Windows since Win95, so the Ally was my choice. I play Halo and CoD also so i needed the Ally.
Have you actually tried using caps because this doesn't happen at all for me, they are just as sensitive. If anything it enhances the capacitive function. I have large thumbstick caps and if I barely touch them it activates. I have a dozen different varieties of thumbstick caps and gyro works great with them. Finding caps that stay on when game gets intense is the bigger issue
They say the back shell was not compatible with the jsaux back plate and has some minor difference? What was your take on that when you changed your back plate? Thanks Also what's the best or max power output I can use for the charger brick?
I haven't had an issue but yeah apparently it isn't, I missed that. Will be swapping it probably. As for mad output I'm not sure but the 100W nexode is more than enough
Turns out you're right, I didn't find the reasoning but they say it's not compatible. There's only like one from a different brand available now so hopefully they'll release an updated one soon
I heard from someone that the JSAUX case doesn't work with OLED as the APU position is different? or was it that there wasn't a thermal pad in the new position for OLED.
I thought I read a response from them saying it was compatible but it mudtbe been for something else. I haven't had issues but there's a compatible version from some random company I might grab instead
Question, the link for the clear back case clearly states on the Amazon page that it is not compatible with the Steam Deck OLED. Do you know why it would say that, since your deck is clearly the OLED?

hope you will make in the future the rog ally version of this video. overoll a great video
I don't like thumbstick covers so much because you lose the capacitive functionality of the sticks for gyro

I got the 1Tb this morning
Wait, so the Jsaux clear back cover fits the Steamdeck OLED???
yes, im pretty sure they said it did in response to a question on amazon
Ive been looking for an 1tb ssd card for my oled! Thank you so much!

Yeah!!! again under 1 hour.....bro love ya content...please make something about budget monitors...
thank you bro! i'll keep my eyes out for some good ones 🙏
I think I am buying it tonight .... Playing mostly mmorpgs and rpgs - having a Mac makes my steam library mostly useless.... yep I am doing it...
Nice video! I'm buying a steam deck next month, so I'll save this video for when I have it on my hands :)
I’m pretty sure the clear back casing isn’t made for the OLED on their site/amazon listing.
I’m waiting for a new version
i thought i saw jsaux responding to a customer question saying it was
It's the same exact build.

I have that same dock, my deck only posts to my monitor when in computer mode but will not show anything but a black screen in game mode. Any advice?

It's correct, I was wrong
Just to make sure the JSAUX Backplate works with OLED & LCD? I checked the website and it said ot wasnt OLED compatible unless i looked wrong?
It's worked fine with mine, I could've sworn I saw Jsaux replying to an Amazon edition saying it was compatible with the OLED
any cases you recommend? Other than tomtoc like dbrand or jsaux?
not used any others
@@ColeCaccamise eh, it’s alright, I got the skull and co case, good case if you want grip and protection.
Did you have any issue using ugreen 100w with the dock usb c passthrough to steam deck? Is it charging at full speed?
no issues, the dock USB C allows 100W max
What game is that at 3:10
The Finals
Remember me when you get famous! ❤
If you have a usbc monitor you dont need a dock
make 10 mins videos, you've clearly got the material, it will be way beneficial.
