In his defense, other realms such as the Shadowlands or the home of the Void Lords are unfixed from normal time; powerful Void entities such as the Old Gods can also manipulate time, as demonstrated by their attack on Nozdormu in the War of the Ancients. If Iridikron's gone to the realm of the Void Lords (which, given the voidgate and the shadowy figure that's almost certainly Xal'atath standing in the gate, would not be a stretch) it would make sense that the Bronze couldn't track him easily.
Player character needs some acting in these cutscenes. Just standing there mute looks stupid. But WoW has oto varied PC character models to be able to be properly animated. All they can do is to use emote animations and those just look terrible next to the high quality cutscene models NPCs have these days.

Perhaps Iridikron hasn't allied himself with the Void Lords, but knows they are the only entities capable of defeating the Titans and undoing all their work. Which is Iridikron's only goal, and double crossing the Void Lords will get him slaughtered

no, Iridikron and Xal'atath will use Galakrond's essence to bring N'zoth back and resume the corruption of Azeroth's world soul, Titans will detect it and come back (with Illidan) and be forced to release Sargeras since he's the only one who can 1v1 Azeroth, he'll pull the sword out and the hole that remains will be the entrance to the new raid where Azeroth's world soul is the final boss.

So as i suspected, Iridikron will not be a final boss in this expansion most likely and they will keep him for the next expansion which more and more looks like it will be a void themed one. Im guessing he took Galakronds essence to the Void Lords so they can perhaps revive him and then Galakrond may be the next big bad in the next expansion. Final boss of this one will be Fyrak it sounds like to me
I don't think so. We "killed" Murozond back in Cataclysm in the End Times and we have been still dealing with them regardless of his defeat. Infinite dragonflight is troublesome to deal with if they can just travel through timelines. Bronze dragons were protecting "the true timeline" from them for ages and it will probably keep going forever. They will always be a threat, it just depends how much of a threat to players 😉

She will always try to keep the peace first and not kill unless there’s no other way. The Aspects and Incarnates were close long ago and she couldn’t find it in herself to kill them after their rebellion
I honestly feel like this cut scene could be teasing new allied races. Preparing for the other 2 and defending Amirdrassil coming first. Would be cool to see Tuskkar, Centars, and Drakoids playable after all the development they have been given through out dragon isles. It's their home too. 🤪
Can anyone tell me if this cutscene is after defeating Deios into Megadungeon??? Because after I did it I just delivery the quest and nothing happened. Assuming this is a bug I search about any sort of conversation between Alexstrasza and Nozdormu (since she was there saying nothing) and found this video. Just want to confirm.
I feel like they should implement a series of stock facial animations for the playable races that they can use in cutscenes like this, just to add a little more life and investement to the playable character beyond just staring blankly most of the time.
I was expecting that Nozdormu would become Murozond and get defeated by the heroes, but before he dies, Chromie would cast a powerful spell to restore Nozdormu to his normal self, but the strain of casting the spell would end up exhausting Chromie's life essence, so she basically sacrifices herself to save Nozdormu. And it would end with a cutscene where they have a funeral for Chromie at the Bronze Oathstone to honor her sacrifice, with dragons from all the flights coming to pay their respects.
I'm relieved at least for the moment the Void didn't claim yet another Aspect. And the Voids Ambitions for messing up the time way with a new Murozond. At least for now.
Iridikron invoking avoid powers and hints that the next expansion will be Void-focused, I’m all for Iridikron being a multi-expansion villain like Garrosh and Sylvanas. He’s more than earned the right to live past this expansion.
Given the naming convention, we've had Nordrassil (Crown of the Heavens), Teldrassil (Crown of the Earth), Andrassil (Crow of the Snow), Vordrassil (Broken Crown, formerly Andrassil) and Shaladrassil (???), it's fair to assume it is the Crown of the X. As for what Amir is in Darnassian, there is no translation I can find online. Curiously, I can not find the Darnassian word for "Dream" anywhere, which would be my first guess. Personally, until confirmed otherwise, I suspect it would thus mean "Crown of the Dream." Other possibilities I think have some merit would be "Crown of the Isles" or "Crown of the Spirit."
Crown of the Tear maybe. Since the seed was made from Elune’s tear, but Crown of the Spirit also makes sense because of the night elf spirits the seed holds

i just hope we get end of this in 10.2, IF we dont get 10.3. or Even to 10.4 Blizzard should be ambitious, and do as they did in Vanilla. But to tell the story proper, withouth a rush. But, we all know... blizzard won't do more than 3 raids per expansion. the 3rd raid of the Dragonflight will end similiar cliffhanger as it did in WoD.

CHromie is a familiar name, but their proper dragon name IS Chronormu, and Nozzy has been referring to them in that way the entire expansion. THeir is no "deadname" to be used.

Just started exploring the Dragon Isles. Man this place is so neat. The flying mechanic is actually fun and the storyline is so cool.

Iridikron invoking avoid powers and hints that the next expansion will be Void-focused, I’m all for Iridikron being a multi-expansion villain like Garrosh and Sylvanas. He’s more than earned the right to live past this expansion.

Given the naming convention, we've had Nordrassil (Crown of the Heavens), Teldrassil (Crown of the Earth), Andrassil (Crow of the Snow), Vordrassil (Broken Crown, formerly Andrassil) and Shaladrassil (???), it's fair to assume it is the Crown of the X. As for what Amir is in Darnassian, there is no translation I can find online. Curiously, I can not find the Darnassian word for "Dream" anywhere, which would be my first guess. Personally, until confirmed otherwise, I suspect it would thus mean "Crown of the Dream." Other possibilities I think have some merit would be "Crown of the Isles" or "Crown of the Spirit."

Crown of the Tear maybe. Since the seed was made from Elune’s tear, but Crown of the Spirit also makes sense because of the night elf spirits the seed holds
@@SunniestAutumnFrom what I found (which is very little to even go by…) Amir is draconic, but there is no confirmed translation of the word. The only thing I suspected it could be was that it was derived from the draconic word Am, which means all. Crown of All, or something cheesy like that.
Though, crown of the dream sounds more likely.
I read on wowpedia that Amir means "hand" in draconic. So Amirdrassil means " Crown of the Hand", combining draconic and darnassian".
So what was the darker future that spawned Murozond? Is it retconned to just be some evil corruption of primals?
Can't wait to see the reveal for a void expansion at blizzcon.. it's definitely coming, but I wonder where they go from that because void / void lords is the ultimate big bad
in a final twist to save themself for destruction, the void lords cast a spell to reset the timeline , or send them back to a whole alternate universe where big baddies wanders around with different plot twist and stories and a whole different lore...

I don't know if I like that Murozond is not a Boss, but I'm ok with the direction that the lore is following with Iridikron and the void + titans.

And him turning into Murozond was not inherently connected to deathwing.

The Titans are not what they seem. If they achieve ultimate victory, it might be a "their way or the highway" situation.
So, Iridikron is possibly striking a deal with the Void Lords. He can't kill the titans by himself, he knows this. So what is his plan? Somehow get one of the Void Lords to Azeroth, thus forcing the Titans to release themselves AND Sargeras from their self imprisonment in order to stop them? Obviously this is all WILD speculation. But if any of it ends up being remotely accurate?

i just hope we get end of this in 10.2, IF we dont get 10.3. or Even to 10.4 Blizzard should be ambitious, and do as they did in Vanilla. But to tell the story proper, withouth a rush.
But, we all know... blizzard won't do more than 3 raids per expansion. the 3rd raid of the Dragonflight will end similiar cliffhanger as it did in WoD.
Legion and BFA both had 4 major raids, Shadowlands is the only recent expansion to be cut short like that (WoD was 9 years ago now)
Blizzard already confirmed 10.2 is the last major content patch

The next expansion will be their chance to redeem themselves, after the wasted potential of 8.3 and the utter failure that was Shadowlands. Dragonflight has been pretty good but more importantly it has the chance to be the platform for the greatest of all.

CHromie is a familiar name, but their proper dragon name IS Chronormu, and Nozzy has been referring to them in that way the entire expansion. THeir is no "deadname" to be used.
