so this is the reason why someone tried to kill her during Legion, because she is close to saving Nozdormu and she is getting close to stopping his death from Cataclysm time. meaning, what happened on Cataclysm was just a version of Nozdormu after Chromie failed, but during Legion the attack must have come from a time line where she did not failed, a time line that Nozdormu cannot see. and the fact that he did not see the time his brother Nefarion fell from graze until he saw it through the Dracthir, just proves that Nozdormu doesn't see the future but possible futures and that is why he fears the Old gods because they can see a future that they are trying and can make it into a possibility. Nozdormu is powerful, but not enough to see everything. i bet we are the ones that will help Chromie save him, it's going to be a fun quest line for sure.
More like Father and Daughter, Nozdormu is the father of the Bronze Dragonflight, although all the children aren't his, he's still the patriarch of the bronze.

Chromie is such a kind, pure soul, and Nozdormu is so soft and wise, I really do hope these two will be alright by the end of the expansion. I love them way too much 💛

we see gnomes as adorable munchkins forgetting that they're the smartest race in Azeroth. same goes for Chromie, she's all cute and bubbly. We forget she's a freakin Dragon that spits lightning hahaha
This is like some weird half-in-game-half-rendered scene, and I guess it looks pretty okay. Certainly better than the current lowest wrung of in-game cutscenes where the characters stand default pose and their heads twist and writhe in agony and their mouths flap open like cadavers hooked to livewires.
The main thing that was holding them back is unlike games like FFXIV where the base models are already rigged for complex facial animations, the WoW team has to custom rig models specifically for cutscene usage. They have been getting better over time I do agree, though
I would like the facial animations more if they didn't do the same mopey "looks down and to the side pensively, sorrowfully" every 10 seconds, especially when it doesn't even fit (like why does Nozdormu continue to do the mopey face even when Chromie is hyped). The cutscenes themselves are amazing.

why not have both? Just keep Murozond from going insane after the transition? We have people who have successfully wielded Void energy without falling to madness, turn away from the titans but not embracacing insanity
@@TheJacob232 I don't think Murozond is insane but rather saw something that justified his radical views after that. But I do like the idea of having both around still. Murozond can simply be an alternate version of Nozdormu and Nozdormu can stop himself from becoming Murozond.

It was a very good cutscene and I really hope we can find a way to save Nozdormu. We killed enough friends instead of trying to save them, can we please defy the destiny for once and try another way... And can we all agree that Chromie is absolutely the best?

For me a nice solution would be: He becomes murozond inevitable, but after we kill him in ´end time´ chromie finds a way to get him back. Like he must walk this path to see/know/experience something and then come back to nozdormu, and because of this, he cant see ahead of his time as murozond.
The only aspect we've successful saved has been Alexstrazsa. We fought and killed Deathwing, Malygos and Ysera. You could argue we saved Ysera in ardenweald, but she was already dead and her soul now resides there.
The problem I have with this, is that Norzdormu seems to be forgetting two facts. 1) he is to die by the players/champions back in the cataclysm. Which they did, easily. 2) mortals will burn cities, slaughter whole races...sacrifice everything that they have to protect and save that which they care about. We are the mortals who have killed gods, demons, dragons, monsters, and time and time again climbed over that which is deemed impossible. The more you tell the mortals "There is no other way." They reply, "Hold my drink, and watch me find that other way." Cromie knows this very well, I believe she will help us find that other way.

Also how Nozdormu is supposed to become Murazond when he knows now everything - he knows what he will become, what he will do and how he will die. My personal theory that they are setting up is not that Murozond won't exist but Murozond doesn't have to be Nozdormu. Because that's what they did with the Demon Soul, they didn't reforge the Demon Soul but they grabbed a different version of the Demon Soul, the same Demon Soul but not the "True" Demon Soul and is was able to play it's role as the "True" Demon Soul.
It's so great that we won't get New Mega Epic Battle With Cosmic Evil. Instead we will get hearthwarming dialoges and characters development. Gj blizzard❤️
Chromie becomes the next murozond instead. If he accepts he can't prevent his own death, then chromie is the key which can prevent it instead. Maybe if his goal is set to save chromie instead of himself. Something has me thinking what if accepting the inevitable consequence will prevent him being murozond, but in turn its chromie who won't accept it. Becoming a proto aspect instead in his place. Which means killing chromie when she turns chrono- could prevent the outcome.
What if it's Chromie? She goes through a time before the Titan's gift, looking for a answer to save Nozdormu. Somehow with time and whatnot, it changed her back to a primal proto drake and with the lesser mind, she wanders through time, aimlessly, lost.
I don't know that the devs could have POSSIBLY been thinking about it in detail, but the inescapable reality of this expac bringing to the fore the fact that Chronormu, a biological male dragon has chosen a female (gnome) visage for al this time. The juxtaposition of Trans issues of the present with this interaction is, indeed, very.......... timely [dodges thrown fruit]
I'm not even playing this expansion but i am watching the videos that pop up to see what direction they're going in. TBH From what ive seen at the DF launch, the only logical direction they can go in is Titan content and Sargeras escaping his prison. Old Gods. blah blah blah. all that good stuff.
It might be kinda of cool for Blizzard to add in quests in classic and it's various expansions/seasons in which we help Chromie searching for something to save Nozdormu
In Legion people Teared up when PCs had to kill Ysera, then cried in Shadowlands while trying to save, and they're saying it can't get any worst. (Looks at Chromie) OH HELL NO, not her, don't kill her off, don't corrupt her, or Nozdormu.

Stop making every male dragon be a villain. For once....... make it so the entire concept of a Murozond was just an old god trick as their way of exploiting Nozdormu's weakness like they tried to exploit everyone else's weakness. Make Nozdormu realize that Murozond is not necessary, not inevitable, not needed, and not real. If Aman'thul has more power over time than Nozdormu does and Aman'thul made the mistake of not seeing the betrayal of Sargeras......and if Aman'thul allowed us to change time by preventing Sargeras from destroying Azeroth...... then Nozdormu should realize the same weakness and the same ability to stop every scheme of the old gods....which included Malygos and Neltharion and Ysera and the twilights trying to break the will of Alexstrasza as her eggs were being stolen. "AND" the fake old god plot of making Nozdormu get stuck in depression and doubt and despair. Make Nozdormu wake up and realize that there is no inevitability.....and that the "proper" use of time is for us to decide our own future.
My theory is that we are going to loose all old aspects and get new ones. As people suggest Alexstraszas care for eggs and restraint in helping Wrathion is setting her to become an enemy in long run (as Blizz wants us to side with Wrathion)
I think Chromie will find a way. She likes her life and how much she controls now. In order to take his place she will have to give up much.. Who ever said she was a "good goodie" far from it. The grey line she walks is wider than R66 is in length
Chromie will become the new Aspect of time. That's for sure. If all timelines show that the infinite Dragonflight will succeed maybe we need to forge a new "possibility". This includes turning to the old gods in worst case which might trigger the light to be a little mad at us for destroying the sacred timeline.

The in game cutscenes have come a long way fast. Actual lip syncing? Detailed facial animations? I wonder how far they can take them

If Aman'thul has more power over time than Nozdormu does and Aman'thul made the mistake of not seeing the betrayal of Sargeras......and if Aman'thul allowed us to change time by preventing Sargeras from destroying Azeroth...... then Nozdormu should realize the same weakness and the same ability to stop every scheme of the old gods....which included Malygos and Neltharion and Ysera and the twilights trying to break the will of Alexstrasza as her eggs were being stolen. "AND" the fake old god plot of making Nozdormu get stuck in depression and doubt and despair. Make Nozdormu wake up and realize that there is no inevitability.....and that the "proper" use of time is for us to decide our own future.
The hand animated cutscenes are great, so much better than the default /s emote animations that were in old in-game cinematics.

If all timelines show that the infinite Dragonflight will succeed maybe we need to forge a new "possibility". This includes turning to the old gods in worst case which might trigger the light to be a little mad at us for destroying the sacred timeline.
Considering everything we now know about the first ones this sacred timeline stuff is just the first ones doing what the jailer wanted to do.
