Oh Janko! I just found your channel today and i just realized your journey on youtube already reached an end, or may I call it a warrior break? 😉 The world needs an honest and transparent reviewer like you Janko! Don’t leave it to the bastards!
Thank you so much. Unfortunately, my time is limited right now, and therefore, I cannot produce videos. That said, I miss the interaction with all of you viewers. Thanks for still following my channel. Take care.
Hands down the best Porsche content creator. Your thoughts and impressions are passionate and detailed. No click-bait. Sad to see you go, your content is what TH-cam should be all about.
I understand the commitment to YT content isn't trivial, especially when that isn't a full time endeavor. I found this to be some of the best content on out there on Porsche - your passion for the brand is clearly evident. I especially enjoyed the episodes on the Cayman T.
Thanks, it is a huge commitment that needs a lot of calories. At the moment, there simply not time and engery to produce videos. But never the less, thanks for watching.
Ignore all the haters about the speed at which you talk. It’s been a great and informative channel and an excellent 4 years. I do hope in the future that you can do some updates on the cars every now and then
Your content will be missed. The independent reviews you presented are some of my favorite, and have influenced options I’ve selected for my vehicles. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!!
Janko, I didn’t discover your channel until late, but I am working my way through. You convinced me to go and try a 718 GTS 2.5 and ignore the haters. I have just traded my 981 Cayman S for one, wow what a great car the 718 GTS is… thank you! I hope to see you making videos again at some point in the future. Good luck.
I was at dinner recently at The Pub in Pennsauken, NJ (USA) with friends after the 5th annual Porsche Boardwalk Reunion in Ocean City, NJ. We discussed our favorite P-cars, had trivia about best cars at specific price points. It wS fun hearing the different answers and reasoning. Then we started asking who is your favorite YT automotive journalist. You were top 3 for each and every person. Your videos are missed!
Really sad that you’re calling it a day! My go to channel for a Porsche review. I’ve wanted to drive Porsches (especially 911s) since I was 17. Finally got there at 47 years old. Now I’m 60 and have only driven Porsches for 13 years. You are the reason I have a new 992 C2S on order Janko! Thank you. I really hope you find the time to come back!
Janko, your passion and emotion in describing the findings of your research has been informative and entertaining over the past years. Plus,I have always enjoyed your sense of humour!
Thanks for 4 years of informative and fun content! I picked up a 996 a few years ago and have loved it, and following your channel has been enjoyable too.
Thank you so much. Unfortunately, my time is limited right now, and therefore, I cannot produce videos. That said, I miss the interaction with all of you viewers. Thanks for still following my channel. Take care.
Thank you Janko. Your channel has been a joy and a refreshing change from many other so-called motorists. I now own my very own 718 GT4 and have fond memories watching your videos in the run up of the configuration and purchasing process.
Thank you Janko. I have enjoyed your reviews from early on. Very artistic videography showing us what you thought were the best angles, and very honest assessments of the car. I've had a 981 Spyder from 2016 and love it every time I drive it. Whenever I open the lid I think of you "... and now it starts - if feels like you are lifting the entire caaaar..." You really enjoyed putting that top down, and so do I. It means I am in for a fun drive, not a run to the local shopping. I'm sure you'll have future success because you bring energy and a real desire to learn to your work. One or both of these are missing in many leaders.
Seems like I've found your videos tooo late. I've just put an order in for my first 911. A 992 Carrera and your videos are invaluable. First encounter with your videos I thought who is this guy criticizing the 992.... Then on seeing more of your videos and absorbing the passion you have for the 911, I now appreciate the videos for what they are: a serious encouragement for people to enjoy the 'Art of Driving a 911. Thank you.
Thanks Janko for all your great videos! I enjoyed them a lot and always appreciated your grown-up, experienced and honest perspective on things like performance, number of cylinders and exhaust sound. Never really understood why your channel did not gain more followers. Most likely your car content was too intellectual for the masses. :-)
I really enjoyed your videos Janko. You’re one of the few youtubers of which I remember the videos and look them up to see them 2-3 times again. Wishing you a lot of success in any domain cause you deserve it. Will link through LI. Take care !
it's a sad day in the Porechesphere. Janko, your channel is the best, mostly undiscovered Porsche channel on TH-cam. I don't know why you didn't get the hundreds of thousands of subscribers that your content deserves. I'll continue to be subscribed and look out for more of your excellent productions in the future. I have enjoyed your content, and the fact that it is different from the run-of-the-mill English-specific channels. I think the work you have put in, your production values, creativity, and yes, jokes have been top quality, and something that Porsche would be happy to associate with at corporate level. Best of luck for your future endeavors.
Being a Swede who lives in London I particularly loved watching your content and see you driving on Swedish roads. I have enjoyed your content and wish you luck in the future! Hej då, for now…
Thank you Janko, for all the effort you've done for this amazing channel. Actually I checked on your channel when I saw the new Carrera T or "Clubsport". You'll definitely be missed, I hope to see you again. All the best!
Hola Janko. Carlos. Hello Janko. I'm here because I missed seeing videos of you posted, so today I find out that this was the last one. I want to thank you for your videos, for your time and for the passion you have put into it all this time. They will be sorely missed. Thanks from Spain. Carlos.
I just found this brilliant presentation style created by Janko Lind of the passion we all feel for cool cars especially Porsches. After subscribing to this channel my next click found me sadly watching this video saying goodbye…. I will continue binge watching the content on this channel to ease my pain. Thank you for spending the time and energy to create this treasure of material! Cheers from SoCal Janko…..
Thank you for everything you have done Janko. You and the channel is one of the purest form of expression of car culture and Porsche. I sincerely hope you return one day. All the best!
Sorry to see you go. As an avid Melges 24 owner, I know you will enjoy driving your rocket ship. As a previous 928 owner, I know you will enjoy driving your smooth 928. And finally, thanks for your thoughts over the years.
Sad to see you shut down your channel. Really appreciated the quality, passion and knowledge you blessed us with. Will miss your sunshine smile...Thanks and Best of Luck!
Wow, I will miss your videos janko, and thanks for responding to my questions over the past and teaching and passing along all your knowledge about the porsche brand. Good luck to you and your family. When I watched your boxster 25 edition and heard you say if you still had the sypder is what made me start looking for a video explaining WHY ! WHY ? and what car did you get next ? Sad you won't be on utube anymore, you are good guy and your friend with the gt4. Take care my man.
Thank you for all the wonderful content you have entertained me with over the last several years. My favourite was episode 136, the winter drive in the 911 Turbo. A 991.2 Turbo is now my year-round car in Canada, due in part to the enthusiasm you displayed.
Been away for a month so I'm a little late getting to this. Sad to see that we will not see any videos regularly in the foreseeable future. Really enjoyed your videos, especially since like you said it's better to hear a review from someone who actually lives with the car for a few weeks compared to someone that just drives a car for a day. Like how most reviewers talked about how amazing the 992 GT3 is but in reality it is not something you want to drive for long periods of time on local B roads. The current TH-cam car video segment is going crazy, with reviewers only caring about how loud a car is and if it has a manual transmission. I loved how in your videos you would talk about how horsepower and speed isn't everything about a car, there are many other aspects. It has made me appreciate older cars much more, especially the 997 generation. Even to consider how a 911 C2S with a few simple modifications can be more enjoyable than a Turbo or GT version. anyway thanks again and hope we see you here again sometime!
Thank you so much for your sharing your Porsche journey, I learnt a lot and you helped me get though Covid lockdown here in Melbourne Oz! Wishing you all the best, I will miss your passionate uploads !
I didn’t see your channel until I started thinking about what my next car purchase would be. I currently drive a Chevy diesel truck (which I really like) but I want a small, relatively fast, car. Your videos on the Cayman T settled my mind on my next car. I haven’t ordered one yet because I want a 2024 as I believe some changes are coming then. Thanks for those videos. Sad to see you go but family time must come first - that is doing life “right.”
Hello Janko, Seeing the new 992 Phase 2 GT3 made me think of you and your already strong opinions about the Phase 1, especially with its luxury-focused direction. This time, they’ve taken it to the absolute extreme. It feels like you might’ve stopped your channel just as Porsche sold its soul. If you were to come back, I imagine it would only be to critique the latest models. We do miss you, though.
I was wondering why I was not seeing anymore of your content pop up in my feed...something was missing in my life and I couldn't quite place it! Now I know the sad truth. Thanks Janko for all your vids, I have been a long-time subscriber and your videos actually convinced me to go for and eventually buy (and helped spec) my own 718 Spyder which I still own and love to this day. I understand your frustrations on TH-cam: it is certainly not the realm of the intelligent and discerning :) But your videos brought a smile to me every time I watched them. And doing all that in what I imagine is a second language for you is amazing.. here's to some "encore" videos in the future!
You will be missed greatly Janko. Hope to meet you in person. Maybe Gotlandring in April? Or Arjeplog this winter with our friend @356? Or even better, join in on next year’s Luftgekühlt2023👌🏻
Thank you so much. Unfortunately, my time is limited right now, and therefore, I cannot produce videos. That said, I miss the interaction with all of you viewers. Thanks for still following my channel. Take care.
Bravo Janko! I just wanted to say that your passion and your integrity in conveying your opinions made your series very enjoyable for me. It's clear that your curiosity in life has served you well. Thank you for your excellent work.
Hi Janko, I don't know if you remember me, I'm that guy from Spain who left a comment some time ago on your channel talking about how it's possible to have comfortable seats in a 718 GT4 instead of bucket seats. I was fortunate that you not only read it, but also shared it in one of your videos. I take the time again to thank you for all the content you have generated, I have followed each and every one of your videos and despite not agreeing on some of the things you have commented or shared, as was the case with the seats, I have to tell you that it has been a pleasure for me to discover your channel and a shame not to continue enjoying your content. I've been enjoying my GT4 for a year and a half now and besides this, thanks to your videos, you have encouraged me to create and continue fighting for my own experience club for owners of sports cars in Spain, The Traced Supercars Club. For me, it is of great value that brands like michelin have believed in your project from the beginning, it shows that the content you have made, has value and potential from the first day. We are not lucky enough to be supported so far by any brand in the club, and even so, we continue to fight because we have learned, partly thanks to you, the value of passion and effort for what we do. It would be a pleasure to keep in touch with you either through social media or any other channel you consider. Thank you very much for so many good videos and congratulations.
Always enjoyed all of your videos and your analysis of all the Porsche cars you tested.Used a lot of your thoughts on selecting my own Porsche.I will miss your channel.
Just discovered your channel, and really like the ones I watched, will definitely watch more of your content. Thanks for putting all this work in it and all the best for your new adventures!
Hi Janko - I found your videos to be very helpful, far more than these other car journalists and content creators who are really just entertainers with an automotive problem. Your video comparing your carrera S with the Brewster green exclusive manufacture was the reason I chose to get a manual spec on my 911 S. Thanks for being such an inspiration. -Jay
Janko , I discovered your Channel late but enjoyed every content of yours and it has helped me make a decision on my Porsche . Thank you so very much . It’s your choice and should do whatever makes you happy
Thank you very much Janko, it was a pleasure to share with you the taste of Porsche automobiles. All the best for you you and your Family , Best Wishes and come back one of this days. Paulo Costa
Janko. Thru AOD we became friends and met in Stockholm for lunch in 2019. I just watched this farewell episode now in Mallorca where I just reunited with my 981 Boxster Spyder after Covid-separation. Our passion for Porsche caused a man from Borneo Island to meet a Swede from Stockholm. I'm sad that there will be no new AOD episodes to look forward to. If you ever visit Malaysia, pls let me know. You are most welcome in my home. Until then, Selamat Jalan kawan.
Oh no! What a great shame for us, your viewers. Your not-a-British-TH-camr approach and vibe and presenting pace has been an absolute delight to watch. Thank you for the energy and passion - and good luck with your new role.
Your English is fine. There are trends within the automotive TH-cam community that everybody follows, presumably for views. You, on the other hand, seemed like you were doing your own thing. You delved deep with your analysis, about the car and about the human being driving. That’s what I liked about this channel. It stood on its own because nobody else did it like you. I’ll always remember you as the Swedish guy about Porsches. - From all the way out in Los Angeles.
As a Porsche owner and enthusiast,, and also one of your early subscribers to this channel. I did a search today about your channel to see the latest reviews about Porsche and was surprised to see this video! Anyhow I wish you good luck in your life...
Well this is a huge surprise! They say that variety is the spice of life and I have greatly enjoyed the different approaches you and other youtube hosts have taken and shared with the wider community. I have to respect your other competing interests and wish you every success with your new business opportunities. Who knows, perhaps when you become more comfortable with the new venture, the itch may call out for scratching and we may see you back here from time to time. I certainly hope so. Thanks very much for your fantastic contributions on this channel.
Janko, I have to thank you for your reviews on the 718 Spyder. That’s how I found your channel and how you convinced me to look into getting a Spyder instead of a 4.0 Gts. Nobody here knows you personally, but you have an aura of authenticity, which in terms of leading a team, I think will do wonders for developing trust and cooperation. P.s didn’t get the buckets, nor the manual, and it’s in mint green, don’t lynch me pls. :D
Sending big Thank You’s from Atlanta, USA. I’ve enjoyed your in-depth video’s, they are still the favorite in my feed. The algorithms don’t account for thoughtful insights or reward serious discourse. I think you’re a great presenter and enthusiast for the Porsche community.
I always enjoyed your videos, from the words you chose, to the videography and the music. You should feel very good about the content you created. Thank you.
Janko, you and AoD will be missed. I enjoyed your thoughtful reviews and perspective precisely because you always presented it from the passionate, driver enthusiast’s, point of view. I especially enjoyed your, sometimes unique, viewpoints because they were not always in line with the mainstream! Loved your parting thoughts but am feeling a bit sad that the Porsche dedicated now have a hole in the TH-cam world that will not be easily filled. Best wishes!!
Thank you for the excellent job, impeccable and admirable dedication! It was always a delight to watch your videos. Greetings from Costa Rica in Central America. ✌🏾
Thank you very much for all the great videos over the last couple of years. Your obvious passion and unquestionable integrity has been massively impressive. Moreover, your willingness to unselfishly share your experiences has been downright inspirational. I wish you the very best going forward and hope that you find the right work/life balance for you and your family, without the added stress of running a TH-cam channel for grumpy geezers like your’s truly. Again: thank you!
Janko, I always called you the 'Nick Murray of Europe' which you are. An Invaluable resource to the Porsche community. We would love for you to stay around.... Please reconsider. You are one hell of a reviewer.
Thank you for all your efforts, to say that your content has been inspirational would be an understatement at the very least... While some of your views on certain P-cars were difficult to digest and I haven't been always in agreement with you, your authenticity is the one thing I never questioned. And this is a rare commodity in the "fast food" culture that dominates youtube and the car review world in particular. All the best, and ping me if you are ever in Switzerland and want to go for a drive, maybe I can convince you why the GT3T with a PDK is the best car on the planet haha Take care!
Take care.
Thank you for all you’ve done, for the insights, humour, skill, entertainment and you’re reaching out - my sincere best wishes to you JL - RB 👍🏼
Hands down the best Porsche content creator. Your thoughts and impressions are passionate and detailed. No click-bait. Sad to see you go, your content is what TH-cam should be all about.
Big thanks anthonyma...
I understand the commitment to YT content isn't trivial, especially when that isn't a full time endeavor. I found this to be some of the best content on out there on Porsche - your passion for the brand is clearly evident. I especially enjoyed the episodes on the Cayman T.

Ignore all the haters about the speed at which you talk. It’s been a great and informative channel and an excellent 4 years. I do hope in the future that you can do some updates on the cars every now and then
For foreigners and not English mother tongue your speed is the best🎉
Your content will be missed. The independent reviews you presented are some of my favorite, and have influenced options I’ve selected for my vehicles. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!!

Janko, please consider returning. The Porsche TH-cam space was so much better with your regular videos.
Thank you so much. Unfortunately, my time is limited right now, and therefore, I cannot produce videos. That said, I miss the interaction with all of you viewers. Thanks for still following my channel. Take care.
@@JankoLindwe need you back Janko. The porsche world is not the same without you.

You are truly missed my friend

Thanks for all of your hard work and your videos. Best wishes for the future. Mark, UK.
Thanks Mark.
I really liked your cadence. It was very professional for a youtuber. I feel you could have been on a TV channel.

Always a pleasure to watch your videos Janko and I very much appreciated your insight. A true gentleman - please don't stay away for too long.
Look at how you are missed...Thank you for your content and wonderful videos.. you are missed
It really goes to where you live. Sweden, UK, Europe have too many differences when it come to buy a Porsche and keep a Porsche.
Hello Janko,
Seeing the new 992 Phase 2 GT3 made me think of you and your already strong opinions about the Phase 1, especially with its luxury-focused direction. Every so many months I come by here to see if Janko changed his mind.
Thank you for watching.
Hi Janko,
I don't know if you remember me, I'm that guy from Spain who left a comment some time ago on your channel talking about how it's possible to have comfortable seats in a 718 GT4 instead of bucket seats.
Always enjoyed all of your videos and your analysis of all the Porsche cars you tested.Used a lot of your thoughts on selecting my own Porsche.I will miss your channel.
..and I miss all my viewers. Take care :-)
Sad news, I liked your channel
Take good care
All the best for you!
Just discovered your channel, and really like the ones I watched, will definitely watch more of your content. Thanks for putting all this work in it and all the best for your new adventures!
Thank you and best wishes on your new job - your passion will be missed (coming from a BMW guy) ;)
Thanks, have you looked at my BMW videos?
@@JankoLind yes I have!!!
Paulo Costa
Thanks Janko !
Thanks manleungleugn!
Gutted. Just found the channel today and really enjoyed watching the videos.
Your reviews will be very much missed. Your insight and depth are unmatched!
Thank you for your videos Janko! I appreciated them so much. All the best for you.
As a Porsche owner and enthusiast,, and also one of your early subscribers to this channel. I did a search today about your channel to see the latest reviews about Porsche and was surprised to see this video! Anyhow I wish you good luck in your life...
Hi Daniel, I did not find the time to continue with the channel. I do miss it sometimes, a lot.
Sad. Janko we will miss you .
ill miss you guys to...
Sad to see you go, Janko. Greetings from the 718 Spyder aka Yellow Submarine (I will never ever sell it)
Janko, your videos and insight will be truly missed. Best of luck in your new endeavors and maybe someday we'll see you back here.
I’ve always enjoyed your videos and engagement. Hope you return after a break!
So sorry to see you go Janko. Loved your reviews it was great and refreshing content. I wish you all the best!!!
Thx for great content . Good luck on your future ventures
Thanks
Thanks Janko! Good luck with your new job.
Loved this guy… The Best
Good Luck 🍀 to you in all future endeavors
Janko, really enjoyed your content and best of luck!
Thanks for all your contributions and content. Words aren't enough - enjoy life!
Janko, any possibility of luring you back for a "special edition" post on the new 992 Carrera T! 🙂
Thank you.
Thank you for watching.
Thank you Janko, because of you i bought my first porsche and enjoying it. Your insight helped me buying the correct porsche for me.
Some great Porsche content over the years, thanks for that and best of luck for the future
Just checking….hope you are doing well. Missing the outstanding work you did here…..Merry Christmas, Janko.
Merry Christmas, I don't have the time in my life right now to produce.
Så tråkigt att du har slutat producera intressanta och riktigt bra Porsche content. Lycka till med allt du gör nu.
Tack själv, har inte tid i livet just nu att producera videos.
Janko, I always called you the 'Nick Murray of Europe' which you are. An Invaluable resource to the Porsche community. We would love for you to stay around.... Please reconsider. You are one hell of a reviewer.
Thanks for all the effort you've done. I have enjoyed your videos many times. Big hug from Barcelona.
Dear Janko, as an owner of an 718T I allways feld proud to drive it just because you gave it wings ! Congratulations
LOL, PDK GT3T... well then I have to move to Switzerland and become your neighbor to find time to convince me. LOL. Take care :-)
