When will we ever see a video showing Janko and Nick reviewing a car together? That would be epic! Great video as always…. I have the same tshirt, big fan of both of you!
Another great video, Janko. I recently bought a 968 to go along with my 87 3.2 911. The 968 is a different, but fun car in its own right. To me, it’s so much fun caring for and owning these Porsche classics. One day, I am sure to own a new one, but for now am really enjoying being a caretaker of the ones I have. Thanks again. Subscribed.
It brings me back to the 80ies... My brother had a 944 and it was the first car which I drove and reached the 200 km/h mark. Loved it then, still love it now. Thanks for bringing memories back !
What's next for you in the garage, Janko? I never thought you would have sold the Spyder. Maybe Carrera T (with the correct options of course)? I love mine. :)
Janko great video. I love the older Porsches as they are very analog and low tech. Something I can work on. I love the new ones as well but I have always wanted a G series or maybe a 964. Air cooled and something I can do the work in to maintain it. Again great video. I’m glad you tube recommended you. Now I’m subscribed and look forward to the next video.

Are those the stock wheels? They look way better than what we got here in the US. Speaking of which, the original US MSRP of this car in 1991 was about 45k. That's 90K in today's money! Makes modern Porsches almost seem like a bargain in comparison.
This was almost my first ever Porsche back in the day… but the turbo, I think this s2 is a better car for road driving, the turbo was full of lag and did nothing accept at the top end… so yes I agree, buy the naturally aspirated…944S2, if young people want to go faster, seriously just change your tyres first, this will add far more than tuning…and keeping it stock might even make a profit for you when you change it…., yes really….especially if you have put a little effort into cleaning it up…a nice video by the way Janko…
Hah! Just found your channel as I ordered a Boxster GTS 4.0. My first porsche when i moved back to LA at 30 was a 944 in 1987. Loved that beast and took it to 110k miles over 8 years. have been addicted ever sense.
It is criminal that you don't have more subs. Great content, as usual, keep up the great work. Now, what if you are in your 50's and are looking for your first Porsche... Still, a 944/968 or is a 928 more suitable?
Agreed - 944s are far more affordable than 911s. They may be a point of entry into Porsche magic; but in my experience, they aren’t the best choice for the money. I own a 964; I moved into it from a 924S. 944 & 924 are certainly good handling, worthy and gorgeous Porsches, but the driving experience doesn’t hold a candle to a 911 or a Boxster. Both 944 & 924 are under powered and too comfortable in comparison to a 911 of the same era. They are beautiful grand tourers, but not driver’s cars offering the level of engagement that a 911 does. Before the 924S, I owned a 914 - the forerunner of the Boxster. The ‘70 914 was a far more engaging driving experience than the 924S. My son has a 2000 Boxster as his point of entry Porsche. As are the 944s, Boxsters are undervalued. I would suggest that an older Boxster offers a far more engaging driving experience than a 924 / 944, and a truer experience of Porsche’s DNA. To my mind a Boxster offers a far more compelling ‘first Porsche ownership experience’ than does a 924 / 944.
Hi T i, I've never owned a 997. The main reason is that it is too heavy. In fact, a manual 992 Carrera S is 10 kg lighter than a 997 Carrera. Not my cup of tea. I might consider a 997 as a daily. As I always say, there is a Porsche for everybody. If you are not already, please subscribe to my channel.
Great car! However, I would change those Boxster wheels :) 944 S2 is not the cheapest to buy and maintain, especially for a teenager. Porsche 986 Boxster might be better option for the first Porsche. This comes from 944 turbo owner. P.S. Made the comment before watching the whole video :)
I had a 944Turbo for a decade before stepping into a Cayman R. 944’s are fantastic but they can be serious money pits. Only recommend to those that have a garage, as they disintegrate when left outside in all weather. Great video!
@@JankoLind I just checked, in 2019 he got a 1989 944 Turbo, not sure whether he still has it. I remember him talking about it on Spike Feresten's Car Radio podcast some time ago.

@@markweisgram155 Yes, I agree. I would of loved to see Janko with the « It burns when I pee » t-shirt! lol
Thank you both for following both my and Nicks channel, appreciated.
How knows, perhaps one day we will make a review together?
Nick-? .. The TH-cam fella who sued Porsche NA? That Nick-? ..
This video made me happy. Janko bubbling with enthusiasm. Like watching Schumacher on the podium in the nineties!
I think comparing me against Schumacher is a bit too much, but with that said, I'm honored.

Hi MrSchn3ll,
I'm not sure what's in my garage next time. Time will tell. Carrera T is nice.
I think Janko will buy another spider again. Build "pavúk" exactly for him.
Thank you Janko for another treasure.🙏

Interesting point and BIG thanks for contributing. It would be interesting to make an analysis of old reseller prices.
The 944 had the same muscular body as the turbo from my recall
No it had a different front and back bumper.
another great video... love it. keeping both of my 928s4 and 944s love these two cars.
Great video Janko!!! I owned (4) 944 Porsches. My 1990 944 S 2 was a cabriolet all black x3.
It was a fantastic car. Now on my 17th Porsche.
17th, I understand you, it is a drug.

A good question very good. Absolutely Porsche 928 rather than the 944 if you are in your 50's. Perhaps you have honored me with your subscription?

Please get back to the dealership to secure another build slot for the 992 GT3. We need it on this channel.

Just need the French Bulldog and your channel is complete! Joking aside, good 944's are pricey in the US (the Jerry Seinfeld effect?).

hold the phone ... a roomba for grass! now i've seen it all. but yes sir, i would love to own a vintage car after a solid daily
Not sure what a Roomba is but if you refer to my robotic lawnmower then you are right. extremely nice to save time not have to mow the lawn.
Will I also get a Nick Murray body builder physic if I buy a T shirt 😄 That is a lovely car.
Well, you will get it for free if you buy the T-shirt, perhaps you need to sweat in it a couple of times first.
Someone watches Nick Murray 😉
