    Mooi werk!

Hi. Would you share the sizes and brands of tires you used? Thank you! Amazing looking FZ.

Sure. Both Bridgestone. BT45F 120/80-16 front and BT016R 150/70-18 at rear. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you for your great video series about this bike.
Right now I'm restoring the same bike and I wonder where you got those brake hoses.
Did you order them from Yamaha or elsewhere? (Where?)
Do you consider making a video about repairing the side panels and other plastic parts?
Keep on making these great videos 😉

Hi, thanks for your comment. Those are the original brake hoses. All I did was clean them and painted the couplings black gloss using 2K paint. I don't know if it will last long. I don't have much video recordings of the body panels repair. I will check if I have enough to make a video. Maybe a a sort of slideshow with the pictures I have. The bike is almost finished. I hope to get it finished soon and release the last part.

Two questions. I see lots of powder coating nice! Did you use any special powder coating for the engine? At least some of the 80's yamaha had their paint go away after a few years.
Bolts can't help but notice they look new? Did you buy new ones or ?

I did not do any powder coating. Everything was painted using 2K paint. I know powder coating is more durable, but I try to keep the budget low that's why I opted to paint. I think it should at least be as good as it was from the factory or even better with today's paint. I replated most of the bolts and bolts. Apart from some regular M6 bolts and nuts. And some original Yamaha ones that are cheap.
