I like deal zone but with philips large basket i can cook pizza. I cooked pizza in philips air fryer. It tasted better then any pizza i cooked before. Highly recommended for pizza
I purchased this Air Fryer on 1/01/19 so I've only used it 4 times but I really like it th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB It's easy to clean & use. It comes with excellent instructions plus a cookbook. So far, I've only used it to fry chicken wings & bone-in chicken thighs & they have turned out excellent with nice crispy skin & golden brown look to them. If I were to buy one again, I would get the next size up though as the 3.7 qt. size isn't quite large enough to fry 4 good size chicken thighs in it. I cooked them in two batches of two each, letting the unit cool down for 20 min. between batches. It's not really a big problem since the unit is so easy to use. I just wiped the pans out between batches while the unit was cooling down. You could probably cook one batch after the other but our wiring in our trailer isn't that great, so I was afraid of blowing a fuse. I would check with Cosori first to make sure it's okay to do one batch after the other though. I highly recommend the Cosori brand for Air Fryers.
I bought the dual zone Ninja just recently me and the wife love it. I had one of the early Philps fryer's and was happy with it apart from trying to clean it. Then the coating started coming off the inside of the basket and that is why I bought the Ninja. I Have cooked a full medium sized chicken in it, it tasted fantastic.
Dual zone cooking for two different foods, two different cooking times, two different cook settings, two different temperature settings, and with Smart Finish to finish cooking together. Enough said.
the 9.5L version of the ninja is the best air fryer on the market imo. biggest capacity and it being dual is amazing. its basically like 2 separate air fryers with how big 1 tray is (4.75L). the versatility of the dual basket is great because u can choose to use 1 tray only or 2 trays but with different foods and also same food in both trays.
I'm about to buy the Ninja double drawer myself for it's versatility and ability to cook two things at once😊 I've had a couple of Phillips, bought the xl for my daughter, love air drying! Thank you for your review, it consolidated my thinking😊

Regarding your other video where you tested the reheat, you could use it as a keep warm function by the following method: find out online at what temperature reheat is normally done on other machines with that function. Then as soon as the food is finished cooking, while it is still hot, set it to reheat at the correct temperature and the food should stay hot. Great videos. Thanks.
hi that's a great idea - I think keep warm is usually set to whatever the food has to be to remain safe to eat...for example, chicken would need to about around 70 degrees. But this is just a guess! Thanks for watching the video!
Philips xxl capacity is 7.3litre so just 0.3 litre less than ninja’s. which is quite similar as 0.15 per per tray. Now the cost wise ninja is good option and it also gives two trays which can helps to save power usage if using one tray. Philips is also great. Capacity is same with one tray and reliability is examined. Any of these two options is better.
Man you compare a last generation air fryer with one from 2013, the specs is not like real-life experience, is like an iPhone with 6 gb ram works much better than an other phone with 16 gb ram
Hi Kim! I don't have a family but we are big eaters (we eat once or twice a day so bigger portions) and have a dog, so he get some too! If you're cooking just one thing, then I'd recommend the Philips. There is more surface area in the basket so you can fit more in and get a better cook. If you like cooking multiple things at once, that's where the Ninja shines :D
Mine just went out after 3 years & 1 month! I did see a Ninja Airfryer,at walmart,on display, that I liked but were sold out of, The one I had was a Midea, which I loved and am sad that it's no longer a cooking option.
Great video thanks, nice to see someone who actually used the airfryers before! Would you say the Ninja foodi is better than the Tefal Actifry Genius. Just that the genius evenly cooks but does not have the sync feature and potentially harder to clean.
Thank you :) I've never used the actifry genius before so I don't know how much of a genius it truly is. However, I am happy with my ninja air fryer and would most likely buy one again.
Hiya mate, firstly, it's nice to see a British video on the Ninja! So many american ones! Secondly, do you have any meals / recipes you cook in the air fryer, that isn't just food that you'd usually just bang in the oven? I bought one recently, and haven't used it much. Just wanna see what this thing can do I guess. Thanks!
You alright mate - yeah I noticed, the Americans love a cooking gadget don't they! Time we showed them we can do it too lol! Well, that is kind of a tough question, because the purpose of the air fryer is to cook things you would otherwise cook in the oven/grill/frying pan etc. So it functions like an all-in-one device if you get what I mean. I'm not sure of any air fryer specific recipes, but I can tell you that alot of food comes out tasting better in an air fryer vs oven and sometimes a frying pan. For instance, chips can be cooked in the oven: comes out crispier in the air fryer, and comes out less greasy than a frying pan. So a win-win situation. Another thing that turns out decent is something that you would otherwise grill, like a skewered kebab for example. In an oven that doesn't really work because you need it to be very hot and the heat needs to be direct (like a grill or a BBQ). With the air fryer, kebabs turn out good because it is essentially a convection oven with a powerful grill - so you two heat sources and that means the meat tends to retain its juiciness but still get cooked. I hope this helps!
@@geezerintotech Yea, I'm good mate. This is awesome thank you! pan and grill recipes / meals are what I do the most tbh, so what are your go-to's, other than the kebab skewers (which I'll definitely be trying!) Thanks again for replying!
My pleasure. The thing is, you can use both bowls in the Ninja Foodi and set the program to 'Match'. That means you can cook (let's say) chips in both sides of the machine. So, you get just as much capacity (probably more) with the Ninja. The only benefit I can see for the Philips is if the thing you're cooking is particularly large (like a whole chicken for example). Even then, you could always half the chicken and put it into both baskets in the Ninja. At the moment, we are really liking the Ninja and really appreciate that versatility. We barely have to turn the oven on!
they don't suggest you preheat it in the manual, but I guess cooking science would dictate that you'd probably have to preheat it for a few minutes before if you want the best results. For example if you are cooking roast potatoes, you might want to put the oil in, preheat the device so the oil gets hot, and then put the potatoes in to prevent soggy potatoes. However, I think if you're using the max crisp mode it's perhaps not as necessary with most food.... the food gets very brown (even without a preheat)
Hi Jennifer. I honestly believe the Ninja is a more versatile machine, and for that reason I like it the best. It's a good idea to think about what you'll be cooking in the machine. For example, if you regularly cook large items (like whole chicken) then maybe go for the Philips because it has one large basket. However, if you want to cook two different items at once e.g. chips and chicken wings, then the Ninja is far better at doing that job because it has two independent drawers. In terms of cooking speed, both are excellent and will cook food in almost half the time that an oven would. I hope this helps! Happy to answer any more questions!
@@geezerintotechI cook whole chickens up to six pounds with no problem, but they have to be butter-flied first. Just slap a half chicken in each basket.
@@ThePapabear1017 yes that's correct. However, I think people are more likely to buy a roast chicken from the shop and want to stick it the machine without having to butterfly and use different compartments. If you are willing to do that, then of course the Ninja is fine.

Great question - yes I can confirm my opinion still stands. The Ninja is our go-to cooking device these days (the oven doesn't get much use anymore). The Ninja allows us to cook two things at once, which we really like as there are only 2 of us (+ dog) in the house. However, if you had a family, then the two drawer option would probably be a bit pointless unless you all eat very small meals!
