Thanks for the vid! Didn't think I'd find a tutorial for the exact year and bike I'm about to do a clutch replacement in but TH-cam never fails to suprise me!
@@robertw109 Oh sorry I see what you mean now! If you are planning to do it just a heads up, get new clutch spring bolts from Honda. I snapped two of mine because of how old they were and they only costed me ~$12 for all 5!
Hi. Yes the screws are Honda part #. 93404-06020-08. There like $2.95 each through someone like Babbitt's . Sometimes you can find them on eBay used cheaper. There a metric 6x20. I have bought them from home Depot before in there specialty screw section, they have a built in washer on them. Only problem is there a bit heavier, so if your only replacing 1 or 2 it can be enough to throw the balance off. I definitely recommend Honda oem. Good luck.
Yeah, I should have showed that. I usually like to be thorough. They do come out pretty easy though. If you have to you can do one at a time. They pull right out.
NOTE: Motor does not have to be removed for clutch plates and oil. We had removed for top end work.
Thanks you sir for such a simple and straight forward video

Did you remove the cushion plate or is it still on
Still on.
You don’t need to take off the engine for a top end rebuild
You can take it off, if it is easier for you!
just easier bud
Hi could you please tell me exactly the name of the screws that hold the springs in? and size?
