My Key Takeaway is how to answer the question of Millennials: "I'm still young, why should I buy insurance?". To tackle that question, we must direct them to these two important aspects instead: income protection and retirement planning. We must let them understand that their income needs to be protected and that they need a decent retirement plan. The young people (millennials - as per you) earns a lot now a days and get.hijacked by a notion, they are intellectuals and the old school thoughts are not relevant to them. Because of this they fails miserably in taking financial decisions. Hardly some people understand the financial planning. This is my experience with such people. One question I have is what if the client gets income protection insurance and a few years later has a substantial increase in salary? Will they be able to increase their protection substantially in that age with the rates they have today, or would they have to reapply with their new age/health rates?
