YOU GUYS ARE NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE THIS BUT I ACTUALLY GOT AN AWARD FOR "Best Presentor" THANK YOU!!
I don't care if people listen to me or not, I just want to present without nervousness. Well in school and college, who listens to our presentions??? 😁
How to control my voice I'm like crying when i get nervous
LOL same
same😂
Rehearse Rehearse and Rehearse some more. :)
Frenkie Fejzic go in front of a mirror look in your eyes and start speaking do it again and again
I get like that as well in the first few minutes. I slow down ... pause ... breathe deep and exhale. Then smile and start talking. Not foolproof but it helps me.
I've done a lot of public speaking, but there's always more to learn. Jason didn't disappoint - Thank you, Jason!
Jason, I'm a long time international speaker who's talks are popular across several cultures from Istanbul to Stuttgart to A Caruna, Spain. It is remarkable that you have outlined just about how I open my talks. In addition, I first engage the audience by looking at them, smiling (which you could use) and talking directly to them. With certain cultures I discovered that they need special permission to engage with you, otherwise they will not ask their questions or otherwise interact. So I might spend a few moments chatting with them and asking them questions. In one culture I actually divide the audience in two and see which side can yell "uno, dos, Tres" the loudest. Seriously. If you are speaking with an audience who's second language is English and you're speaking in English...speak slowly, have modest goals and take the time to give them permission to engage. Thank you very much for your concise and inspiring talk above.
I don't have fear in public speaking, but fear in lacking knowledge and short memory loss LOL :D
same honestly. You put that perfectly. Now i know where i am messing up. Thank you!
Thank you, much needed! I love how you show your confidence within your presentation. This is something I need to work on the most. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us:)
One of the best approaches to an intro I've seen in 25 years. Stopped what I did and changed my messaging.
Thank you for the tips, Jason.
I made it through my presentation today.
This is really helping. Now, I'm no longer scared or nervous to stand in front of the audience and do my presentations.
Thank you !!
i'm 22 years old and i'm a reserved person.i'm doing a presentation next week and i was terrified until I watched this clip. Thank you for all these great steps.
Own a speaking company and I've taught public speaking for 19 years - you hit the nail in the head! Great job and thanks for sharing!

Me too
Skiller BdH nah bruh he died of a heart attack during his presentation
oh wao.. oh wao!
definitely trying that at college DEFINITELY !
You look like what you teach... I see the confidence all around you.
Thank you for this.
I love this! I had a presentation for class, and kept getting the same platitudes "everyone goes through speech anxiety." Right... has everyone been laughed out of a classroom in grade school? Anyway, fast forward to college, where I must give a presentation for my mid-term (and my upcoming final.) I watched this, rewrote my opener and practiced voice inflection to apply the information. I got 100% on the midterm. That's a significantly higher grade than I ever attained in an actual speech class. A more important point, is that I felt like I finally accomplished speaking in front of a group without having a near nervous breakdown. I felt confident. And to speak to the effectiveness and retained information itself, with my final fast approaching, I found myself seeking this exact video, and feel I should send the link to my partner. Thank you!

Very helpful video, and clever approach -- using your own opener to demonstrate and reinforce your key points. I can't tell you how many times I've sat in front of a teacher who fails to demonstrate the skill he/she is trying to teach. You've both explained and demonstrated the 5 simple steps and left me with a clear picture of how to apply your recommendations in my own presentations -- all in less than 10 minutes. Well done!
Thank you, simple straightforward and very helpful
You are Amazing! Your videos give me more confidence :) Thank you :)
