Fun fact in 2022 Audit mode no longer uses deafultuser0 it now uses the hidden Administrator account instead. It's so restarts etc are handled better

As far as I see it, you could theoretically also make the BSoD green in normal win 10 (regedit -> Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl -> DWORD -> DisplayPreReleaseColor (1)) and the other way around DisplayPreReleaseColor (0) to make it blue in Preview Versions... but why would you need to do that :P

DON'T DO THAT - IT WILL CAUSE SOME ISSUES WITH APPS! I removed some preinstalled things and then I had to reinstall Windows because for example virtualbox stopped working because of corrupted Windows files error... I found online info about virtualbox that it checks for Windows files consistency to prevent malware activity and when find out that some file are modified/missing/corrupted then returns an error and stop working and then every time you have to run virtual machines in headless mode to force it to work...
Hey endy, love the vids! Was wondering if u could do a tutorial on deleting old motherboard files. I had to change motherboard after my pc was built and everything works fine by the rgb controller as well as files for the old motherboard software remain. Not an issue but annoying, I like a clean pc so any help would be great. Googling it only gets answers from 2009 about how I should just reinstall Windows.

I like Audit mode, I can move the Users folder from C: drive to keep all data if needed to reinstall Windows.
Inserting a valid retail demo id and product sku when prompted when enabling retail mode at install (click 5 times on the EULA) will taylor the demo content to the OEM and the store that is selling it.
1:05 Normally this setting replaces the new BSOD with Windows 7 one, but on Windows 10 it changed to this (1:28)

About cmd opacity: There is hotkey for it: Ctrl+Shift+MouseWheel
ctrl + shift + (+/-) can increase and decrease transparency of cmd too

I was once messing around in virtual box and set the ram on a windows 10 virtual machine to 256 MB and then the machine started having color seizures with a bunch of rectangles, it was weird and I don’t remember it happening again.
I laready knew about the command prompt opacity option. I also know you can make your CMD matrix style by changing the font color to green

for some reason when i logged onto my laptop to play monika after story (a ddlc mod), i was taken to the "welcome to windows" screen even though i've had my laptop for several months (idk why that happened ._.) but then i clicked "skip for now" and i was taken to my desktop and everything was just normal and i'm still confused-

2. Back in the late 90's I saw the retail mode of an Apple Mac. I bought a Mac that was meant to be new from a shop. But when I got home it had rolling shop-style adverts in boot time and after the OS was turned on. What are those extra codes for BSoD's? What can I use them for? Searching the one in this video on google didn't give any results.
I tried the bsod trick and it ended up making windows unbootable, so now I can't run Windows correctly and I have to go into Linux to fix it

1:52 i have found both system.ini and win.ini files in my windows 3.x running on dosbox and only found win.ini file in windows 1-2.x
