Sept 2021 I order a tv tuner, Bluetooth, and the 10.1 all for a jk. The tv tuner didn’t work or the Bluetooth. The 10.1 radio worked fine as of 3-13-22. 3-14-22 and the 10.1 stopped working. I’m pissed. Tried to reset it to factory settings which did not work. What makes this so bad the jk isn’t my daily. The radio was practically new even though Sept wasn’t that long ago. I emailed customer service let’s see what happens.
I had the same problem with my siecane head unit. Had problems with it from the beginning finally sound stopped work about two years ago. And put my stock unit back in. Then my stock unit went out. I read somewhere that you can replace the Canbus and this fixed everything. I was going to need one for a aftermarket unit anyways.
Hey nick , I would be interested in seeing a review of how your system is running, I am thinking of upgrading. Since you're one of the few postive comments it will be great to see how it still stands after a year.
Thanks, I'll stay away Seicane. I'm seeking a replacement for Jeep JK radio. My AM went out and that's all I listen too. I don't need frills, no bluetooth, no screen, none of that crap that brakes, just AM RADIO! And would you believe I can't buy it? The Jeep Dealer wanted $1300 to swap in a rebuilt used radio, and I can't find a solid strong signal new AM Radio for a 2017 Jeep JK. Nobody cares about us old school AM listeners.

First the connector for the mic in my Jeep is different but I could work thru that eventually but, when calls are received I cannot hear the caller thru the radio/speakers. Radio works great otherwise. However, this is going to be a deal breaker for me if I can't get this worked out. Atlanta traffic does not do well if I can't talk while on the road. I must use handsfree. Very frustrating and so far no answer.

Could be a bad wiring harness or plug. Start with simple fixes first. Anyway the cost of sending it back for exchange is reasonable for something that costs you nothing to start with. I do agree that a US representative office and tech support stateside makes sense.
So I had the same problem and it drove me mad trying to figure out how to get the sound back. I downloaded two different car launchers, reset the unit, downloaded Google Music and Pi but nothing worked. Finally I realized that I had never used the local music app that's in the app drawer. Hit it and got the music I had already downloaded to the unit from my phone to play. After that Google Play and Pi both worked until I shut off the Jeep and started it again later. Back to no sound even though the music timer was running. Finally I figured out you have to play music from the local music app for like two seconds to make the other music apps work (even Bluetooth streaming). Little bit of hassle but that was my fix. Good luck.
You'll need to contact Seicane support. They emailed me software to update the system, although it did not work. They'll also provide specific menus you'll need to access on your radio with certain passwords.
I hear you, what I meant to say was if your planning on ditching the radio I would like to give it a try to look through the circuitry for the failure. Either way, thanks for the reply.
I wont buy from Seicane again. The unit didn't fit the car they said it would, and I had to pay Aus$80 for return shipping. I'd recommend Eonon instead.
Put one in my daughter’s 2017 Wrangler for Xmas...has been installed by me (haven’t messed with car stereos in over 20 years...)since 25th Dec and works great! We even just loaded some new launchers to change the original look up...too easy! I added/installed a backup cam and apple carplay dongle during install (purchased from Seicane at same time) and everything has worked great so far! Would recommend! Like I mentioned, I haven’t done anything like this since my high school/early college days although I consider myself somewhat tech and mechanically savvy...it wasn’t hard...AT ALL...I think I over-thought the backup cam install process, but, it too turned out really easy!
I also have the same problem. At least tech support contacts you. I have been dealing with this for over 90 days. At present waiting to hear back from them for the past 6 days. They did have me update unit and did not fix problems. The had me change can bus to Jeep/Kress(simple) and I started to have some audio but still alot of other issues. I would like to know all the settings on another radio. There are others on utube that have it up and running
Horrible dont buy I bought one they have horrible service and when the product stops working they want you to pay for shipping and refuses to replace it without it being returned like he said
I got one for my kia sorento and no sound, on the end I've return the radio and they never send me another one.what a ripping off company. ...stay away from seicane

I'm having a worse issue, my headunit turns on it plays music, but... when you touch it it doesn't do anything.
Bummer. There are other units out there, however, they cost 2-3x more.
Plug in a wireless mouse to the usb. Then use the mouse. That's what I had to do

no update / no shipping dont solve anything but i got mine working by rewiring the radio with the jeep sound system directly
If you decide to get rid of the radio, would be interested in disecting it in an effort to try and repair it or look for the flaw.

Idk what it is with seicane and jeeps but I hear great things from none jeeps owners and bad things from dodge Chrysler jeep people.
