The “don’t trust anyone with a wig and girdle” got me🤦🏾♂️ the pot calling the kettle black 🤣
She definitely played herself! A lil bit to old to be name calling! Who want to do business with a two year old!
My favorite part was the bride was asked, "How's married life?" and the groom stepped closer to put his arm around her after she said, "Marriage life is wonderful". That melted my heart, he's a sweetheart.
He also knows not to cross her since she seems more like his momma than his wife. The fact she married a man with gold teeth in front and he married a woman who wears a wig and a girdle, made me laugh.
“Don’t trust someone in a wig and a girdle,” she says as she walks away in her wig. 😋
@@scribe712 you seem bitter. I hope one day you find the love you are seeking.
The bride's voice and the way she expresses and explain stuff, her voice and laughter, oh man oh man I understand why the guy loves her
She's talking bout a wig and a girdle yet she's wearing a wig and is in need of a girdle. Tried it!
Wig and grille..man's gold grille. After watching back that made more sense and even tho the wig thing didn't since she was wearing one also..but girdle...you cannot know for certain and people don't say girdle now..its shape wear. No girdles..she would pick on his mouth grille..it goes to character.
Did she say royal and plug-ins in the same sentence 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I am STILL trying to guess which plug in scent screams "ROYALTY". Her vision is her vision, it's her special event, but I cannot see they glory she envisioned there.
I can’t believe she said “we as African-Americans don’t get invited to Royal events” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fool, that’s racist within itself lol. I’ve seen royal events with African kings! Do they not know about these kind of people? African Americans were invited to the British queens royal events especially politicians.
@@1rage17 I agree. I have seen some Royal events in the UK where there are many Black people. I found this case to be interesting because it provides evidence of how specific a contract needs to be
There's nothing wrong with wanting what you want. Your wedding, your taste, your preferences. However, the communication should be consistent and clear. Both parties should take this as a lesson.
Where is my fruit? Don't use a fondue fountain.. They are not sanitary.
There are some things wrong from time to time with "wanting what you want." There are all kinds of things wrong with wanting a "Royal" wedding when you have not the least inkling of what a Royal wedding is. Dude on here talking about seeing movies where the royal family is just grabbing fruit off of a table. It's 2021 and "Royalty" only exists outside of the US and I can guarantee, that at their weddings they are not grabbing fruit off tables and I can guarantee that real "Royal" weddings cost more than a few thousand dollars.
The way the defendant walked in like she know she’s the shit 😂
I thought I was the only one who peeped that. Like she got it on lock...
Love how his Wife handled herself with such elegance and clam through the whole case.
As a middle aged white English woman I’ve never been invited to a royal event either. 😂😂
Moral of the episode: Hire a PROFESSIONAL WEDDING/EVENT COORDINATOR.
Yeah but that requires more than 3k which they either didn't have to didn't want to spend
Lol yes, true...but I i was in my cousin wedding, and she had 8 bridesmaids and 3 junior bridesmaids, I was one of the junior bridesmaids....I have a huge family, 9 uncles and 4 aunts...sooo u can probably figure out how many cousins I have....anyways....we basically did everything for the wedding and it looked and felt like a professional wedding planner, planned the whole wedding
My man said “Free Kodak”😂 they seem like two opposite people! The guy is a straight up G and the lady is so nice and clearly she has a big heart. I love it.
I love it! I want a reformed thug lol i was raised in the inner city so i need a man with edge!
@My Opinion No, i just have poor choice in men right now but not to worry i am not procreating or getting married any time soon.
Also, the plaintiff needs to start a career on the radio. Her voice is lovely on the ears.
Why is the defendant talking about a wig and a Girdle?...... pot... kettle????
That reception looks like a hot mess 😂😂😂
Honey talk! I was like there are waaaay more things that was straight busted
80 guests and 23 showed up, and still you take a picture of an empty table without bread and butter to get money😂
All of this could’ve been solved with an “official” contract. Not papers that are full of ink on separate sheets of paper. If we’re going to be professional, be professional.
Or, if there is a change in the contract, take the time to write an amendment or change order to the contract. It protects you because everything is clearly written and the customer by signing agrees or acknowledges the changes.
Plaintiff wanted a champagne wedding on a beer budget & defendant thought she was able to make magic like Cinderella 🤣🤣🤣🤣🥂🍾🎭✨🎩👠
"as African Americans, we are not invited to royal events." Girl PLEASE💀 so is 99% of the globe
The way the plaintiffs behaved at the end was simply impressive. They look happy and I wish them nothing but prosperity.
The wife is a vibe. She's speaks very intelligently. She speaks so calmly. I think the cater did poor business. It's unfortunate that their event did not go well.
Education time. The fragrance from a royal affair comes from real flowers and delicious food
Girl, I was wondering what kind of plug ins she had....
Royal fragrance😂😂😂
She too much!!
Let her be! She said "I wanted plug-ins" that is the most ghetto thing I've ever heard haha.
@@diantefieldsbowling6264 I said the same thing, wanted her wedding to smell like her house, hell my house, I have plug ins in every room.
Lmfaoooo she talking bout don’t trust someone that wears a wig but got on a wig 😂😂😂
the embarrassment and cringe I felt when she said plug ins!
🙄🙄 If I heard my new husband after a court proceeding say *"Free Kodak"* on live tv, *I would be standing in **#DIVORCEcourt** next* 💅🏾
Am I the only one amused that the plaintiff is complaining about the attire of the servers but her husband walks into COURT like he’s going to the corner store? 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤣
Well, he did marry someone who is twice his size and looks like a damn man in drag.
Well her wedding is probably more important than this court show to her lol
Since when does a contract need to have it included that the "royal couple" or the "common bride and groom" are served first? This is a no brainer! Geezzz this woman has a business and needs her hand held on such simple things that are just unstood without a kindergarten photo attachment!
This was embarrassing to watch 😭
The Defendant proved that she’s unprofessional by taking the low road and hurled insults. The funny thing is the insults fit her own self better than her silver wig and Saran Wrap dress. 😂😂😂😂
She had some nerve tryna talk 💩 when she came through with her party city wig glued so far forward she had all but 2 inches of forehead AND that middle part was crooked asf. Embarrassing 🙈🥴
Her perception of royalty is glade plugins and gold costume bling 😪 smh
That wasn't her perception that was just all she could afford. There's a big difference.
I worked as a bridal stylist and wedding professional for years. I always told my brides to call each vender a week before the wedding to confirm that they have the wedding on the schedule. I also advised them to send a follow up email confirming the plans. I.e. you have 3 sunflower and baby’s breath bouquet for the bridesmaids, my bouquet of white roses, calla lilies and sunflowers. There will be 5 boutonnieres and 3 corsages. Something along those lines. It makes sure that nothing falls through the cracks. I can’t tell you how many times a vendor lost orders, double booked or simply messed up their portion of a wedding. Clarity is critical!
Lmaooo the fact that the thing with the blue wig had the nerve to take shots before, during, and after the ruling like she’s the best thing walking just prove the lady case more 😂 she’s the last one to be talking and her friend
I guess she doesn't know that there are black ppl that are Royal and have Royal events. But the problem is you up hold European royalty then complain that you can't be apart while paying dust to ur own ppl. Smh the ignorance. Then how u having a royal wedding with some money you just happened up on. You need to put that in the bank .. this whole case is ignorant.
Africa will ALWAYS be about ROYALTY !!! The Bride sounds very Ignorant !!! The Wedding planner is ignorant as well !!!
Sye...you are wise beyond words and I being an African woman...loves you❤️🌹🙏🏾
it's giving RATCHET rather than royal at best.
bwahaha you sho aint lying. Ghetto wedding of the year. First ghetto move was them actually thinking they kings and queens. lol I'm dead.
The ending with the plaintiff & her husband was beautiful… you can tell they love each other very much… I wish them many Blessings ❤️🙏🏾
Why didn’t they practice on the black carpet ??? Especially if it’s muddy outside why take out the only red carpet
Right I said the same thing if you had a black carpet then the kids should’ve practice on that so the red carpet wouldn’t have been touched until needed, it’s not hard to understand
@@stephaniehowe0973 I know that I mean why use the red carpet to take outside to practice on instead of using the black one
I hollered when her husband said” FREE KODAK” 😂😂😂😂😂🤭
“Fight obstacles not each other” luv that 😘
That Facebook review was absolutely not “defamation.” She left an honest review about her personal experience with a business, as she remembered it. She’s just salty that someone decided to take their business elsewhere because another customer said they had a bad experience. If you are that thin-skinned, you shouldn’t go into business- bad reviews happen. The best you can do is learn from them and do better.
I hate when someone emphatically speaks for an entire group as a whole.
Thank you! I have been to some beautiful weddings. I sank down in seat when she said that!
I thought I was the only one upset at her general ass comment. Does she know all AA? Dont group everyone into something because you've never been apart of or know no one who has. Broaden your circle mam! And tbh, the wedding was very tacky 🙄
That was such an ignorant statement, my goodness, how small is her horizon!!!!
at what moment did she do that? i'm french and i didn't quite get everything apparently... :)
Defendant's comment after leaving the court told me more about her than the entire discussion inside the court.
The defendant was so unprofessional. The ending insults really showed the type of business person she is and I would run away from that type of business. The plaintiff was absolutely the epitome of professional and did t resort to insults. I’m glad the judge ruled in her favor and I hope they have a happy life together.
The plaintiff had her shady comments too, let's not act like either of them is above being catty.
One just held her temper better to keep up appearances.
"Never trust someone with a wig and a girdle on..."
*Has on wig*
*Needs girdle....*
😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬 Girl bye.
I can definitely see how those two could show up to an event looking unprofessional. They showed up to be on national televisions looking like that! Grey and black costume wigs!
And she had the nerve to talk about the plaintiff’s wig & girdle. Make it make sense! 🥴
The plaintiff is a really classy, well round, elegant, genuinely nice, beautifully spoken lady!
@@marilynwillett804 I think the Bride was very classy. I couldn't critize her on one issue. The defendant needs to learn how to write a contract. She was very unprofessional.
Hammering out every detail is so hard and yet so important. As a bridal makeup artist I have a book where I sketch the chosen makeup and apply each product in an image of the decided look. It’s invaluable, each eye shadow and placement is approved and blended in its pages so there can be no confusion or mistakes. Weddings are so complex there is inevitably something amiss with food, transportation or decor, the coordinator has a very difficult job and must be super detail focused.
For first time brides what kind of pricing would make up alone cost? I'm a ginger haired lady and unsure where to get my face done up for my husband to be. Green seems to be meh and browns look like a bruise hahaha.
Ok but how “royal” can a wedding look if the venue looks like a middle school gymnasium??!!
First off her husband is the cutest! He seems like he just wants positivity in his life.
Secondly, I have never been to a wedding where the wedding party, bride, and groom aren't served first.
3rd: Ugh... I have never been invited to a royal wedding. This isn't a race thing.
Oh come on, HE wants positivity when you can tell SHE does all the leg work, the planning, arguing, paying, working and worrying. Peter pan was cute but a boy not a man. He needs to grow up.
@@marilynwillett804 lol so true! Always the Peter Pan effect. When my husband and I met his was 19. His Mom didn't believe in raising her children with chores. It took a long ass time to get him to the person he is today. We both changed eachother for the better. But BOYS AND THEIR MOMMAS... Holy heck!
Dude said “Free Kodak 😬”
Bruh I laughed so dang hard 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I feel so sorry for the Judge when she has these types of cases- it’s almost impossible to determine what was requested, what was provided, and what was paid for. My head hurts now…
That's why Judge Judy's so pissed. She's been hearing idiots argue for like 50 years. 😅
It's small claims. Since they don't have lawyers, it is more on the judge to figure out everything, and the parties fight their own case. But this was all over the place for sure, lol.
The plaintiff was really well spoken and so polite and calm
She wanted an outrageously over the top and unrealistically complex wedding. The husband is in for a hard life with this woman.

She’s willing to pay for what she requested, how is she the problem?? The defendant should d sale and couldn’t provide. Like, tf
Swai? At a "royal" wedding? Farmed fish is now considered chic, chichi, upscale?
Swai is considered a nasty, unclean, bottom grade fish.
The bride speaks so eloquently and gentle. I'm glad the couple was reimbursed some of their money.
Uhhhh, did she forget she's wearing a wig and she needed an extra girdle? Maybe she was referencing herself. Tacky and unprofessional.
@@just4now141 No, she said "girdle" and she referenced the woman who sued her. You'll have to watch and listen to that part again.
@@vivoyeur no wig and a grille..look at his teeth and you would never know if someone wears a girdle by looks and a grille implies questionable character...immaturity. she was definitely making a reference to not trusting them

Yea they must be from Nebraska or somewhere where much ain’t going on lol
Sad. I knew a family member who gave a couple quite a bit of money, so they would have a good start. They did the same thing and "upgraded" the wedding. She was very disappointed.

Free Kodak, really dude?
Everyone’s perception is a bit different. A “royal” wedding to one person may be 3K; to someone else it may mean 50K. Wish them the best. 🙏🏻
And an actual real royal wedding is £30 miliin+ so it's about managing your expectations around your budget. You can do stuff for the wedding yourself and have family and friends help and still have a beautiful classy wedding.
M&M's, plastic crowns, dancers and plugins, and you don't get invited to royal weddings??
Must've been those custom M+Ms you order, reserved for only the upper echelon.
Yeah I don't like the plug in idea as it can set off asthma attacks for a lot of people
I wish I could have been the one to cater that beautiful wedding reception!!! What a lovely bride - so kind and soft-spoken! And her husband! 🤣I was cracking up when he was waving to the camera!! 🤣🤣
Sis you definitely had on a wig and girdle.😅😅😅😅 And the "my what a smile you have"😂😂😂😂😂 I am in tears... then the free Kodak or whomever shout out. 😂😂😂😂
How royal is the wedding supposed to be if I’m feeding people and decorating for a little over 3k. Try struggle-ty instead of royalty because aint no way in hell!
Lol I remembered my mom wedding and I was like no way she did that for no 3k lol. This lady living in a BET movie
I want a ROYAL WEDDING right down to the plug-ins 👀
I guessed I overlooked that part of the story in People Magazine 😂😂😂
I was like wait huh 😂😂😂 why not some flowers that smell good. Maybe even essential oils or something idk 😂
Maybe royal as in those Nigerian princes who want you to send them $10,000.
She sounds proper, elegant and well spoken. That guy is the best she could do?
If she had class she'd have excellent taste in whom she dated. I'm not saying he is a bad person, his appearance and demeanor is hideous. He' a grown man, get a man's hair style, a suit jacket get rid of those foolish gold teeth.
WelP. My grandmother always told me , you pay for what you get . Everything about this wedding planner was low budget from the photos. Nothing about it was royalty.
The guy at the end is so shady.. “oh my what a smile you have “ 😂💀💀💀
Having the reception so far after the wedding seems like a great waste of money...go on a super honeymoon instead. This whole agreement was unprofessional . And the defendants smile creeped me out!
A wig and a girdle on??? She got on a wig herself. The way they looked at him saying “that is” and walked away was laughable😂😂😂😂
She had the audacity ot talk about someones hair and body!?
Its clear she doesnt own not 1 mirror🤦
Weddings are beautiful however I’m old fashioned, I think when and if I ever get married I will just go to the courthouse and use any money I would have spent on the wedding to buy a house with a big yard.
If I'd given them that gift I'd be pissed. No your ass did not use my blessing to you to try and impress these other folks!
I would guess from your statement that you do not need to bolster your flagging sense of self worth with delusions of royalty. Not to mention fake hair, fake figure and painted face.
I would never ever wear sandals to a wedding 😳 I didn't know wedding's could have red carpet
Defendant definitely gave good PR for her 'company' in the interview after the verdict lol. Complained about the plaintiff 'defamed' her, but honestly. That interview she gave, was probably at least 10 times more damaging.
She wanted a royal themed wedding,so where's the purple.
Gold,white & red are beautiful colors,but doesn't scream "royal"IJS🤷🏻♀️

My husband and I had a church wedding May of 1993....We had a potluck and whatever our family/friends brought I had them write up a recipe of the dish they brought or their favorite recipe...I was just starting out and didn't have a recipe box.....A family friend did the DJ'ing...Everyone had a blast...No contracts to deal with...So I tell everyone to have a Potluck....Months after the day I was still getting recipes mailed to me and my Grammie even got me a beautiful recipe box and recipe holder for my kitchen....Unfortunately we lost everything in 2011 in the flooding of Hurricane Irene....

I think I understand why the plaintiff was complaining about the fruit. The fondue fountain was supposed to replace the fruit, but there was not fountain, so there should've at least been fruit. That would show that the defendant just forgot that they switched it instead of neglecting to provide even what was on the original contract.
Is that his mom or his wife? He acts a bit childish especially at the end saying “free Kodak”.
Let that man live free ALL BLACK MAN from prison who are not sexual offenders or homicidal

Stay away from doing business with people requesting "Royalty" They will start acting like they are real Kings and Queens on their $3,000 "royal" budget.
Exactly ! How do you rent a reception hall , provide food , decorations and entertainment for 80 people , plus pay the servers and make money yourself on $3100 ? Just not possible
