    Im so happy I came across your video before I did my hair. Totally ordered some hair caps! The ones from the 90s were terrible. Ripped, color spread, this has given me all new hope!
    Thank you, thank you, attempting this weekend.❤

    It looks great!! As a fellow natural dark blondie 🙋🏼‍♀️ (Level 8 on their fancy hair charts) like you, I’ve been in the routine of the whole scalp bleach at home, but I’ve missed the more natural look you get with some of the my natural colour coming through - plus the beautiful contrast which makes the blonde look “cleaner”. So I’m back doing the cap! I’m not brave enough to use 40 vol (I use either 30 vol or 25) especially because I do the same as you did & put it through the ends for a brighten up. I’m tempted to though now after seeing how much quicker it developed! Did you find the ends up pulled it through any drier than before you pulled the 40 vol through? 🤔
    I was going to comment “just throw a bit of the bleach on the tip of a brush to fix up that tiny bit” - and then you said it! 😂
    Absolutely brilliant video, you’ve gained another follower because you’re absolutely HILARIOUS, and with how the world is these days, we can always use a laugh! ☺️
    Sending love from Aussie-Land 🙋🏼‍♀️🇦🇺❤️

      i did mine yesterday used clairol plastic cap, works great, im very pleased with the results; mine takes 50-60 minutes at 20 vol to process the strands from grey/ med brown to white strands, if u see yellow in your processing strands then u will end up with yellowed hair if u rinse it off at that point, but i do like some light yellow actually. im loving it!! @@kiwirose935

    ...OMG!!! Your highlights look amazing; brings back memories (some good some not so lol); my Sister (hairdresser) did the highlighting cap procedure; I’d cringed when she stuck the crochet hook and pluck out hair as for me it was painful; however, was a great way to get highlights as not an on scalp application.

      @@alltheladies Although mine has grown out now (see my comment above - no hairdresser for over a year), my hairdresser still used the cap for my highlights for years (my choice) ... half the price of foils, and just as effective. Although she did hurt me a lot pulling it through (my hair was thick and long). I've since cut it short off and finding courage to highlight myself soon. Loved your video! 💕✔

    O I just done mine but the roots didn't turn out like they usually do but I'm now all icy blonde and I'm just freaking out about when the roots start growing out because I've always been a fan of frosting for years and I still love it...yours is awesome and the way I normally keep mine and now I feel stuck.... I'm wondering if I could put a cap on it and pull it through and put brown streaks through? Please let me know what you think? I've been doing my own hair color for years and now I'm like a little girl stuck with should I or not,

    • @alltheladies
      @alltheladies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mary sorry I didn't get back to you asap...right so are you still 'freaking out'?? Personally I wouldn't go in with the cap and lowlight!!! A toner is what you need...most people think toners just get rid of brassiness but THIS IS NOT THE CASE....I would suggest to get a hairdresser to show you her selection of toners and go with that....I think, and of course I cant see you and I'm NOT a hairdresser, you should bring it down so you don't have such a regrowth is that's what you're worried about! Hope this helps...all the best and let me know how you get on! xxx

      @@lindasalfen7879 You can't pre-poke the holes! 😅 The bleach will leak into the holes you miss and you'll have spots. Also sounds like you could use from bonding treatments to smooth your ends, Olaplex No 3 is amazing for that.

Also what shampoo did you use in the grey bottle was that Elvive???? I think that is what I use when I go home to visit my sister, my hair is always like silk at home, course the water is better to.. ALSO - one LAST question - after you did the purple shampoo did you use conditioner??????? Thank you SOOOOOO much.

    I'm just confused as to how dark your root is and how blonde the rest is, isn't it going to go orange and then the blonde possibly break as they are both lifting at the same time, and of course the blonde would lift a lot faster?? leaving brown roots more orange??? if you know what I mean..... Im English too lol

    • @alltheladies
      @alltheladies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A high lift bleach always lifts my hair really well and I tried to just colour the roots initially until theyre fully lifted. I then pull the bleach through at the very end...hope this helps xxx (NB my natural hair colour is medium ash blonde so I don't have much warmth in my natural hair)

    • @alltheladies
      @alltheladies  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think smaller mounts of hair gets closer to the roots for sure as its less spread out and more concentrated in a certain area! Yes its best to keep the parting central...my hair is all over the place, I have no specific side. If i had foils I would have them also done in the central parting...hope this helps hun xxx
