This was a very informative video. I've just acquired my first pond and this was the first video I watched on the blagdon powersafe box. It too me 30 minutes to wire the box and also run power from a plug in the house. I did use a RCD plug in the house though as its running from a plug and wanted added safety. Keep up the great work
Thanks, the power box runs from its own protection. Be sure to see the load max for each port. Never to safe though. Thanks for the support. I hope I’ve won your sub. 🇯🇵🇯🇵
Nice update mate 👍 Fish are looking good B&Q sell outdoor junction boxes and they cheaper than the blagdon ones 👍 I was told the blagdon ones buttons stick after a while 👍
I’ve run one on the main pond for some time now and haven’t had any issues, you do need to ensure that the button comes out as it may not return but it’s nothing serious just how the rubber gets caught up. Thanks for watching, commenting and subbing awesome 👍🏻👌🏻👍🏻👌🏻
Can't see in any videos for this product, but I assume the "mains" cable is going through the wall and is just a plug on the end into a standard socket (possibly with an RCD inline)?
Should that not be 1.5 solid cable to each connector then the main cable going through a RDC socket or it could possible short sometime in the future to the pond killing the fish.
LOL - I’m concentrating on getting the small pond sorted first as this is going to home my Koi during the build. I’m collecting a purchase today for it so stay tuned …. It’s coming together. 👍🏻🇯🇵🎏
Diddly little buggers them connectors, I have a smaller and older version much better now they've put the different colour for the mains supply, i need to update mine as when i started i bought the one smaller thought that would be enough but now want to add more so at some time in the near future will have to replace 😕

whats the physical size of the box?
I’m not home at the moment but it’s approximately 12 inches x 7 inches.
@@KraftyKoi how deep is it ?
