when i was 15 i had a job as a washer upper in a hotel kitchen . Part of the job was to prep potatoes by poring a sack in to a large electric powered peeler, anyway it was wet and messy and i turned it off at the plug with a wet hand! , after flying 5ft across the room and getting up off my butt i appreciate water proof switching when playing with water.looks a lot safer well done on the vid very helpful !
Hello thank you. Currently I have a split 18amp connection (into a double outdoor socket) from a fuse box running from my stables but it's shared with the house utility room so I have to be very careful about load. My normal usage is around 10 amps max for my whole shed and that's split down two rings so only loads 5amp on each cable from the sockets. I have been very careful to make sure nothing is getting close to 2/3 max load. Has been running two years now and it works safely. I have digital power meters on both sockets so I know the load and cost of the shed. I have an electrician quoting me for an installation of a bespoke circuit directly from my house to make it safer and increase the load because I want to put in a second shed and more tanks!
I hope that you used a RCD unit somewhere in-line which would give you about a 40ms cut off if there’s a problem, that would apply for both in door and outdoor, it just makes sense to do so and could stop you ending up with fried fish.
In the UK outside circuits and consumer units must have RCDs in them. My electrician who has installed my new fishhouse electrics has confirmed both my sheds have inline RCDs

Is it just a standard 13 amp fuse plug that I connect to the first port?
Nice, my concern would be cutting plug off everything. But easy way round it.

In my new shed I had an electrician put an armoured cable from a consumer unit into it and install sockets
I thought you can't plug a extension lead into another extension lead because of over heating danger
