Another great DIY. I had no idea that possibly there was two films to remove. Keep up the great work and apologies as I was on holiday and I'm playing catchup on content.
You will need to remove the old film to get the flip affect. It's not very hard, just take your time and make sure all the original adhesive is gone before installing the new film.

It was a cool project. Still loving the look of it.
You could also increase the brightness on the cluster.
The brightness is maxed 😬
The blue overlay dims the display a lot, but it's still visible enough during the day and plenty bright at night.

If i only want the LCD Flip, do i need to remove the old Film or can i just lay the new over it and it works like that too?
