Fried Beef Flat Rice Noodles | Chow Fun | Hor Fun ｜ Kway Teow | Aunty Mary Cooks.
Ingredients
200g dried flat rice noodles
1 piece sirloin steak, about 200g, slice thinly
250g fine cut crispy salad
6 spring onions, cut into sections
1 knob ginger, thinly sliced
Marinade for beef
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/ Tbsp corn starch
1 Tbsp soya sauce
1 Tbsp Chinese cooking wine
Seasoning Sauce for noodles
1 Tbsp oyster sauce
2 Tbsp soya sauce
2 Tbsp dark soya sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp white pepper powder
Note:1. The recipe is enough to serve 2 person
2. To rehydrate the rice noodles, put a pot of water to boil. Add the dry noodles. Stir the noodles to loosen and prevent them sticking together. Boil 30s. After 30s, remove the pot from the fire and let the noodles sit in the hot water for about 5 mins. Then remove with a sieve onto a big plate. Drizzle 1-2 Tbsp oil. Mix and spread it out to stop it cooking further.
