The secret ingredient? Fresh beetroot! This earthy and nutrient-rich root vegetable adds a delightful sweetness and a vibrant pop of color to the salad, making it as visually appealing as it is delicious.
Ingredients
A bunch of fresh beetroot, wash, peel and grate
A packet of walnuts (about 200g)
2 packets of fresh dill (about 50g), wash and cut
2 green apples, peel and grate
1 big pomegranate
About 1 tsp salt (I use Himalayan salt)
This is Aunty Mary’s favourite amount of each ingredient but you can change according to your liking.
This beetroot salad works brilliantly as a refreshing side dish, or even as a main course with the addition of grilled chicken or shrimp.

Wow, telling people to add starch and sugar to a main dish is irresponsible {3:05): Starch and sugar for your health is like cancer in cigarette smoking, starch and sugar, in 30 years will accumulate in your body as fat cells and you will develop type 2 diabetes and it will take you to an early grave. There is absolutely no reason to add starch and sugar to salty food. Absolutely none ! Be more responsible !

I had Braised pork and egg in Vietnam and loved it. They don't use alcohol I'm sure. This version looks delicious and easy to make here with ingredients I can find in South Africa.
