Why can't honda just pull the leather tight when manufacturing the seats? It looks like shit when its all bunched up in the middle like that.
My thoughts exactly, it looks so bad when it isn't stitched taut.

And I have noticed they do it in every model. I had a loaner Accord for a few days and it was the exact same way. Not to mention Honda's leather seats tend to be really hard.
+Nick Olsen I did NOT notice the leather like this in the other Civics on the back seats on the other TH-cam reviews and I wonder if this bad seat work was a defect that Quality Control did not catch??? Just not sure but when I go for a Civic test drive, I sure will be looking out for this.
+Doug Celeste Yeah the other reviews I watched the seats were fine... That's kind of worrying that they would give out a defective model to a reviewer tho. Maybe it was on purpose? Maybe this is a preprodution unit or something... regardless I'm surprised that he didn't address it in the video.

I love the well deserved enthusiasm u show towards this new 10th G Civic. I am also excited about the introduction of the new Civic line. However, with your recent review of the 2016 Mazda 3, I can't help but wonder which one is the better driver of the two. Especially since the 1.5T Civic is saddled with a CVT. Really looking forward to seeing what they have in store for the Si. Just hope if they do offer an auto in it, that it is a dct and not a CVT. Kudos to Honda for improving in every way what was already a very solid and impressive automobile. Thanks for the excellent reviews you consistently turn out Dave. Looking forward to the full review and hopefully 0-60 test to come.

GREAT review, Dave, and thanks for sharing since I am considering this car. But too bad that there is no lumbar support in the front seats in the new Civics. Not sure why Honda left that out. But that leather on the back seats looks TERRIBLE with all the wrinkles on the material! Is that common on all of the new Hondas??? I sure hope not! Anyhow, I will look forward to your driving review of this car.

I see Acura and older Fusion in the front, Altima and Mazda in the side, and Volvo in the back. not too bad tho. waaaaay better than previous civics
I own this car myself and the volume knob thing is not a big deal to me at all unless I'm in the passenger seat. My only big complaint about this car is there is the passenger seat is only 4-way adjustable. And for a 27k car, it should be at least 6-way adjustable for the passenger seat.

The dash and center console looks very busy. Theres light and buttons everywhere. I rather stick with something more simple.
I love the look of the car and it has quite an extensive list of great things, but I just don't like CVTs.

When I test drove it on the highway with the cruise at 65 I managed to get the trip computer to 39 with the ac on

Stop with the side mirror camera "gimmick", just put actual blind spot notification into both mirrors. Anyone who has used that stupid convex mirror on the drivers side mirror knows it SUCKS!!!!

4:53 Jesus, look at those leather seats. Did Honda have them made at an upholstery shop for the blind? From the workers who made the seats to the QC workers that allowed the vehicle to leave the factory like that, it's just very disappointing. Doesn't anybody take pride in their work anymore?
+Khyber Safi Many of us also noticed that and too bad Dave did not address that in this review. Maybe he will do that in his driving review of the car. Also, other Hondas in other car reviews have perfect looking leather seats and that is why I am perplexed about how these back seats can look so terrible while the front seats of the same car look fine.
