Ive been looking at this and the Honda Accord, but ive been hearing that this car has some problems with the vent and sometimes it gets errors on everything like breaking, needs Oil change, ETC.
I do the same thing. I drive all over downtown Chicago late at night. It feels super nice when your the only car on the road. Well... Kinda. Except when im driving by a shooting that took place minutes before then there will be tons of cops everywhere but besides that. Its always a nice cruz.

I recently got a 2016 Honda Civic EX-L in black last Tuesday (yes, she is already dirty lol). I love it! Your review of your personal car helped me to make my decision. Thank you! I wanted it in red but my previous car was red and decided to go for something different, so I went with the black on black. When I first got it, I did utilize the automatic windows, letting them all down before you get in the car since it was still hot at that time. I love the automatic start. My previous car was a 2002 Volvo S60, so to me, this is a huge upgrade, so I am still getting used to all of the new features!!
I have my ext in same color as yours and love it.. Your review locked in my choice of color.. White was my second choice. You genuinely look happy about your car.. I can't believe what a great car it is and how beautiful it is.. I think its the best bang for the buck for performance, style, fuel economy and safety ...

Took a test drive of the EX-L today, it was fast, quiet, and luxurious. That leather wrapped steering wheel really adds a nice touch (literally) to the car.
I had surging problems on my EX-T when going on a steady speed above 40mph. I started getting that problem after reaching more than 1000 miles. I researched online and found out that many people were having that problem and in a forum they suggested to take thr car to the dealership and apply the update 16-028. I took it to the dealership and they applied the update and the car is smooth now. It took them 30 mins.
just bought the exact same one couple days ago...love it! getting windows tinted next week. I also added the extras like side molding, under spoiler, interior lighting, console lighting and door sill ligthing

I love my 2016 Honda Civic! It has a gorgeous, sleek design and drives like a dream plus it has so many features that completely spoil you. I use the economy button most of the time and am averaging about 36 miles per gallon. However, when I need the turbo boost, it's amazing added power and speed!
Thanks so much for the video! I know it’s a bit older, but I just got mine! I am in love! I traded in my 2011 Dodge Charger that I absolutely adored. It was getting older, higher mileage and invariably things start to wear. Anyways, point blank...the Honda is faster! I was having to watch my speed the whole way home and giggling like a school girl! I’m a disabled Veteran and the heated seat is a Godsend! So very comfortable! The ride is smooth, and just plain fun to drive!! I can’t say enough good and that’s after one 45 minute drive home! I hope you get to see this and if anyone is wondering if they should purchase one...this is a resounding YES!!!
Love the car I recently got the ex-t in white. A cool feature if You didn't know is hold the unlock button and it will roll down your windows and sunroof.

I am trying to buy a used 2016 EX-T right now. Haven’t had any luck yet. My budget isn’t quite where dealerships want it. Hopefully I can get one because I have been saving and dreaming of owning one ever since I saw one in 2016!!
I have the coupe. I'm not sure if it works for sedans but through the key fob I can open all the windows including the moon roof while you're outside just like the accord. Just press the unlock button once then press and hold it the second time until all windows are fully open.
Great review. I recently bought the 2016 civic touring about a month now (I have 973 mile on it now) which I didn't really want. I think for the price the EX-L is a better value, but when I went to buy mine there was no ex-l with Honda sensing. For only an extra $1000 though not necessary it's worth it. I mostly use it in traffic, takes the stress out the commute. But it's a GREAT car I love it. 390 miles to the tank while using the a/c, car takes regular gas but I put 89 octane. $26 to fill.
Its simple, if a car has sexy lines.... get a lighter shade. If the car is a bit ugly or the design is way too aggressive (murano); get it in black the Civic has absolutely perfect design. It meshes well and a black car will only hide those sexy lines Silver was the way to go for this car

I used to have a 6th gen Civic in silver, you are right that it looks cleaner than darker colours. I upgraded to a 10th gen in dark grey, was sick of silver and wanted something darker (but not black). I love the colour, but it gets filthy looking alright... looks great for a week when washed, then dirty again.

Just took a test drive of this exact same car ! Love it ! Same color Lunar Silver . Like you said in your review, as far as color is concerned, Black shows dirt ! I found the neutral colors like Silver don't show the dirt as much. But I beg to differ with you when you said the White doesn't show the dirt. I had a white car and "OH yes it does!!!! That's why I would never buy another white car, pretty color- but always needs to be washed ! Unless your lucky to have a garage!! Thank you for the review . 2016 Civic Touring model spec. says 10 speaker music system. I can see 8 speakers.. 2 on front doors, 2 on A pillars, 1 on dashboard.. 1 Sub-Woofer + 2 Speakers in trunk... Where are the other 2 speakers located??

Considered the Touring but dealer wouldnt budge on the price and 28000otd was just too much for me. Realized the only difference would be sensing which I didnt think was worth it I hear people end up turning it off and nav which you could use carplay..anywho the Ex-L ended up being the best choice. Love the moonroof, auto dimming mirror just about everything.

I found this review very helpful. Thanks for cover the electronic seat feature. This was a concern for me, since I'm short. The model I test drove did not have the up graded leather seats.
If I needs maps on my phone, but I'm too lazy to plug it into the USB plug, resting the phone on top of the infotainment system monitor is a great spot for visibility. I can floor the gas pedal on an inclined road, and my phone will not fall off, so it's pretty secure sitting there and it's a great spot to see your phone's screen. I have an LG V10 phone.
Honda should have multi touch "pinch gesture" feature supported once the user is in android auto or apply car play enabled in google maps or waze apps for example. This is one feature alot of people are complaining about without it feels outdated!
Kevin Allen that moonrise is nice but it cuts into the headroom a lot. I had my driving school with an 08 corolla and it was a struggle getting in and out. That's just my experience

FRUGALITY and lack of experience with honda sensing before i pulled the trigger. Im still happy with my decision though :) can't beat it with a low payment with not that long of a commute

Hi, I did not hear you mention extended view mirror on the driver's side. Do you have that on your car? Is that a standard feature in all hondas, 2014-2016? I find it to be annoying. If you have the extended view mirror, can you offer some tips on how to get use to it?

Hi Edward, Very good video. Thanks for posting this review. I am considering buying the exact same trim but some people say Accord would be safer due to the extra length and weight. Personally I was about to go buy this car as I am the only person who will use this car, this looks great, has superb fuel economy and all that. Accord will be a bit too expensive for me but if it really is safer, I would go for that. Would you have any comments on this? I had a 2014 Honda Civic ex that I had to sell. The seat comfort was horrible. How is the seat comfort in the 2016? That will be a deal breaker for me to going back to a civic.

That's right! Another way to cool down the car before you get there! That feature used to be reserved for accords and more expensive Hondas

It's all preference. I like low maintenance. Darker shades take more maintenance

Personally I was about to go buy this car as I am the only person who will use this car, this looks great, has superb fuel economy and all that. Accord will be a bit too expensive for me but if it really is safer, I would go for that. Would you have any comments on this? I looked at the crash and safety ratings and Civic does seem to hold well. I do hope you will get this comment and take a moment to respond. Thanks so much for your review and time.

I had a 2014 Honda Civic ex that I had to sell. The seat comfort was horrible. How is the seat comfort in the 2016? That will be a deal breaker for me to going back to a civic.
