Update: Moza have fixed all the issues and more covered in this video They are excellent now and I would recommend getting them now. The brake, clutch, and throttle have been reworked and feel amazing. I'd recommend watching OC racing's updated video "Back for more?! MOZA Racing Loadcell Pedals [2022 Edition]"
I have a love hate relationship with Puma. I love Puma for their car brand collabs but the shoes especially don’t fit me. I’m a size 12 wide US and they never seem to make shoes in wide sizes. All I can buy are their slides or slippers lmao
I've tried several pedal sets, I've come to the conclusion that they're the most difficult thing to get right. I started off with Thrustmaster's T3PA, added a load cell/Hall effects sensor mods before replacing those with another set of SimRacingSolutions prototype T3PA with a stronger load cell, before switching to Fanatec Clubsport V3's which were very disappointing, hated the brake pedal even after the performance kit, mushy and vague, not a patch on the feel of either set of T3PA 's. Tried the Moza's but again didn't like the brake pedal or the slow return of the gas pedal. Can't remember anything about the clutch. Then a friend got some CSL Elite V2's and really liked the brake pedal, love it in fact, as good as some £1000 ish pedals I tried (brake pedal) so I bought some. Ready to go out of the box, silent operation (still a year + on) no adjustability really but for me they work and feel spot on as is. Sure they're not as pretty as the V3's or Moza's set, but they don't need fettling to get them working correctly or have rusty screws either, workmanlike and utilitarian in appearance, adequate clutch and decent gas pedal which allows precise throttle control but the star of the show is without doubt the brake pedal, which is outstanding. Something of a bargain at around £300.
I was literally about to drop the $500 on these to complete my R9 but good god those rusty bolts just screamed no, Thank you for the quality content as always!
I just ordered the simagic p2000-R TRI and sequential shifter after seeing so many great reviews and more than half the price of the heusinkveld pedals. Congrats on the new rig btw
They definitely do look really good, I would get them instead of the Fanatec V3's if the prices where the same, however, those rusty bolts are a bummer. Seems like you got some early batch which they used to test at their manufactory
@@OCRacing I think maybe they just thought it was too obvious to explain it to you but they should have explained it to you right from the get go, this might be lawsuit material.
Man, I really like MOZA's line of bases and wheels, but... these pedals don't totally convince me for some reason. While I like that they just announced Xbox compatible option (and I'm sure they are cooking something up for PS compatibility as well, I've been looking at Simagic lately. The P1000 pedals look like something I would like, and even though they are supposedly just looking at alternate approaches to console compatibility (as opposed to native compatibility in the bases or wheels), console is not a priority for me at the moment. Man, on the good side, there are so many options compared just 5 years ago - on the bad side, there are SO MANY OPTIONS compared to 5 years ago! Talk about a double-edged sword, lol.
What shoes were you wearing in the video? Those look sick. Great review as I plan on jumping into sim racing and these are on my radar as a pedal set. My game plan is to do GT and Formula style racing and plan on a Next Level FGT rig set in the formula position and then Moza DD, R12 with their formula wheel as well as their pedals minus the clutch. I'd figure by not racing right away with a clutch, I also wouldn't need a handbrake too and be able to get into add setup for the money. Any thoughts, on a midrange formula style cockpit besides NL?
I have a question-im wanting to buy a 900 degree 3 pedal wheel for drifting, would be the t300rs gt edition be good enoigh? Or should i get a fanatec wheel or a logitech wheel (i will swap the wheel for a deep dish one)
Is there a way to identify the revised version of these pedals? I want to avoid buying old stock and get stuck with a first run set of these pedals which are known for their problem areas
Please guys help me, I'm really in doubt about what to buy, should I buy the Thrustmaster t150 pro or the g29. I've had the g29 but it broke after a few weeks they couldn't fix it but it was a 1 in 1000 problem. But I've watched a lot of videos and now I know the Thrustmaster has a better ffb and better padels (t3pa) and has more options to upgrade, but is made of poorer materials and has thin handlebars and the tape/wheel eventually becomes slicky. The g29 looks and feels much better, but has worse ffb and padels (especially the brake padel). But the compatible shifter is cheaper. So I really doubt. So please help me, maybe some of you have some experience with both and can give me some advice. Thanks in advance.
Im really enjoying my thrustmaster, you dont really feel the poor build quality while frantically racing and the buttons arent bad (also could just get some gloves). Altought the official thrustmaster shifter is way overpriced you can get the Aliexpress shifter or a shh shifter for much less, they connect through usb, unfortunately only works on pc.
my clutch pedal is honestly the worst feelinh pedal even on the v2. i calibrated it a million times and it still needs pressed to the damn floor in order for the clutch to engage and i cant ease off if it without the car trying to launch. its so annoying moza just say “works as intented” so im just fucked
I really want to get myself a Logitech g920 and start playing with a wheel but it won’t mount on my desk because the clamps are too short. Do you have any recommendations for some good wheel stands that don’t take up too much space or that fold over since my room is quite small
WD40 is NOT a lubricant! Use some grease instead please. Which is included in the box, isn't it? Also, the screws being all rusty I think that your reseller stored the pedals in an inapporpriate moisty place. Uncareful ttransport by sea could also be the reason as they come directly from China. This could also be the cause of the hinges of the pedals not working properly and making noises.
Things must have improved since your review. No rusty bolts on the set that I picked up and the throttle return is snappy and fast. One thing that that bothers is that the throttle pedal is essentially at 100% half way through the pedal travel. I played with the throttle curve in the software and played with the pedal preload and adjustment itself, makes no difference both in iRacing or ASC. Do you remember observing that when you were testing them
I have the same pedals as well. I've had mine maybe 3 weeks now. I've had none of the issues he has had, but I did notice that about the throttle as well.
@@roddy6924 I was able to run the calibration properly and that problem has been resolved, but I do agree that the CRP pedals are a bit overpriced for what they are, hence I'll be returning mine.
Moza would still make a killing selling these pedals for $150. But I'd still feel ripped off at that price seeing rusty bolts, sticking action and that insanely noisy clutch.
Gotta love a good review on something I still can't afford, gotta be prepared
Always gotta be prepared 😂

This was a year ago and they have literally taken his suggestion to heart. They don't come with rusted bolts homie.
These problems were solved apparently cause i´ve seen some more recent reviews from buyers and they didn´t report these issues.
I found many improvements adopted in mass production version including those screws and clutch
I would like to have the info about the improvement. Can you give me a link i can look at?

I'm sorry did it watch the review? Why would you choose pedals that squeak, have rusty bolts and where the throttle hangs when you take your foot off?
@@OCRacing Do you know if the now actual sold pedals still retract slowly? And have you maybe heard about a potential throttle, brake only set?

Yeah.. definitely a pricey unit
I am not a fan of the skinny gas pedal. Those screws are unacceptable in any new product. But still looks like a worthwhile investment

The T300rs would be great! Unfortunate they’re a little harder to find though.
Logitech one is good but u will need to update brake pedal like remove evrything and remove black thingy and put evrything back and you are good.
Go for the T300. It's the lowest end you should go with for drifting & it's good at it
