    I love the SR-P pedals, only got the brake and throttle though and modded the brake with the spring kit they provide... made all the difference compared to the stock spring. if you get these pedal, recommend the spring kit to find the right resistence.

    • @dustyice3110
      @dustyice3110 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      100% this. The stock spring literally feels like a cheap g29 pedal set till you get to the bushing and its as hard as a rock. The stiffer spring should come in the box. I replaced CSL pedals (non load cell) with the SRP and it is an improvement, but not a 200$ improvement.

      @@dustyice3110 Hello. What color did you used from MOZA SR-P pedal accessory kit? Orange one is the most stiff? I hade LoadCell Fanatec CSL pedals and that spring was too stiff for me. Thanks :)

      does the brake upgrade include differrent springs and that rubber block? i was thinking about buying it without cockpit (i know it is very important, but at the moment i cant because space, so i was thinking about keeping my g29 until it breaks or upgrade to DD with table clamp. i will enjoy a DD on desk instead using g29 on desk while i cant buy cockpit, until i finish studios and will be able to buy my own house)
      so, does the brake upgrade soft enough to be used in a wheel chair? with the wheels braked. i can brake hard the g29 pedals without problem. but maybe that brake is a lot stiffer so i dont know. (i can brake at a point that the wheels where starting to go back, but so hard that g29 pedals where rising from the floor, they are against the wall. a lot harder than 100% brake g29)
      seem that pedals without the upgrade is just a spring, like a g29 without that rubber block at the end. so, anyone tried that brake upgrade without cockpit. does it includes softer sprrings and rubber in case it is too stiff for me?

    I believe in the Pit House software you can adjust the ratio beteween the LC/angle sensor. If I recall correctly, setting to 0 makes the pedal ignore the angle sensor and only rely on the LC.

      @@EagleGhost8 In the latest Pithouse it's called Pressure Point setting, under the brake output curve (you might have to scroll down for it). I have the SRP-s and played around with it
      It definitely seems to be the case, I have to press way harder to get maximum brake output with the slider at 0, and also it's around 20-25% when the pedal reaches the elastomer. With the slider at 100, I get 70-75% brake output when reaching the elastomer.
      Also looked at the moza discord and found this: "That slider gives one sensor more influence over the output. So if you like a really stiff pedal with hardly any movement you would give the load cell more output"

    • @EagleGhost8
      @EagleGhost8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@midoriyama0323 Okay thanks mate! I don't know what I prefer. I have the T150 with T3PA pedals atm. But I'm going to upgrade to a Moza R9 with ES wheel and formula wheel mod and probably the SR-P pedals but it looked stupid for me to buy a load cell brake pedal when you almost don't use the load cell and the CSL are only €5 more expensive when you take the spring kit with the SR-P's.
      But so you still really need those other stiffer springs?

    • @midoriyama0323
      @midoriyama0323 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EagleGhost8 Beauty of using a PC is you can mix and match components. The CSL Elite V2s haven't been out at the time I bought my set but I agree those are better value with the extra springs and elastomers. (although I personally would go for SRPs again since I don't really use a clutch right now. plus I really like them and don't feel like I made a bad decision)
      The SRPs are sort of hybrid, they do have a LC and they absolutely use it, this hybrid approach was probably used to complement the "weaker", LC it is "only" 75 KG. (Moza CRP is 100KG, Elite V2 is 90KG)
      The springs are up to personal preference, you really need to take the time and try each option and see how stiff you like your brakes. Coming from a non LC, it will take some time getting used to but once you dial it in you'll never want to go back. If you have a chance to try any LC set before you buy, I suggest you give it a go.

    • @EagleGhost8
      @EagleGhost8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@midoriyama0323 Okay thanks man!! Yep indeed I think the CSL Elite V2s are the best budget LC pedals because of the very good reviews I find, but it's €105 or €120 more expensive then the SRPs (with or without accessory kit) without the clutch and I don't need the clutch. So that's a big step imo. Although like some guys say, I can also cry once and then I'm very happy. But I have never had LC before so I can't compare or test, so I don't even know if I really need to spend €100 more or to go for the CSL LC pedals. I think I probably wouldn't need a very stiff LC because I'm used to the T3PA's but I have no idea actually.
      Just imagine if those CSL Elite V2s were available without a clutch so - €40 which means it would be €259,99 wich I definitely would consider then.

      I Have upgraded mine almost 2 years ago for basic CSL pedals with foam for brake... Awesome improovement. i cannot stress it enough. Now i'm trying to upgrade wheel but moza bundle seems good and i was wondering if the lite one included in bundle were a downgrade or not, still waiting on answer.
      But Fanatec CSL base are great from G29 upgrade. Much more linear resistance, much longer "run" of the pedal and pedal is much longer too so you can be more precise. As i don't own chassis, i couldn't use loadcell and they are great.

  • @Not_Lewis

    Dumb Question: I currently focus mainly on flight sims but I want to get into racing sims as well. I've learned that through some additional software, pedals for racing sims (throttle and clutch) can be used for flight sims to mimic a rudder axis, and the brake pedal for brakes obviously. . So, can the SR-P Lite pedals not be used with this in mind? I know that they require to be used with the moza base, but I would imagine they'd still function as long as the whole wheel base is connected to the PC. Yes or No?

    • @bmbpdk
      @bmbpdk ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, ive not tried it, but i assume that the pedals are nothing more than just another axis.
      Windows and the game does not read the input as a Moza SR-P pedal axis, it reads it as a axis.
      It does not matter what hardware that axis is connected to (Yoke, joystick, pedals, button box etc.), an axis is an axis.
      Using automotive pedals in flight could be very hard on a medium/long flight, dont forget that you are constantly using your foot and heel on automotive pedals, on aviation pedals/rudders/anti-torque you are using your entire leg, spreading the load over several muscles.
      And the fact that you can apply both left and right rudder/anti-torque at the same time, could give some "interesting" results.

    • @MisterLoLesp
      @MisterLoLesp 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@bmbpdk if you are able to conect 2 different joysticks and use both at the same time, that could be possible. i think if you like a lot flight games, could be worth to buy a dedicated fly pedals. but maybe that pedals are very similar to a throttle and cluth. i dont know
      try for example plugind a console controller, if you are able to use the joysticks as the plane pedals, srp pedals could work, they are just aditional axis that can be mapped to any racing game. i dont know if you try to use a racing wheel on a sim if the game cant recognise it. but maybe it just wont worrk the ffb and you still be able to use pedals as aditional axis

    • @bmbpdk
      @bmbpdk 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MisterLoLesp Hello MisterLoLesp.
      Thank you for your reply.
      I have quite a nice flightsetup already; HOTAS, yoke, throttle, rudder/anti torque pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFD and collective.
      Flight pedals works differently than vehicle pedals, flight pedals often have toe brakes (The pedal tilts as in a vehicle) and the standard "push" pedals.
      Some helicopter pedals, then called anti-torque pedals when used in a helicopter, do not have toe brakes, they often have a axis on the cyclic instead that brakes on all wheels at the same time with the same amount of force.
      But thank you for your input anyway.

      Heard if you're upgrading to a DD it's very worth upgrading to a 9nm if you can afford it some people say don't get the 5nm unless you really want to. I plan on getting it as I won't have the time to save up for a 9nm

      Hey know i'm late but honestly as someone going from 3.5nm i went the 5.5nm and really wanted that little bit more immediately. Really depends what you're coming from.

      @@siloedspace I got the R9 and I am loving it. I think it gives great feedback. The only thing that I don't like is the gas pedal on the CRP pedals. It is extremely loud when you let go

      @@panavcreative Yeah I just upgraded to the R9 from R5 and it's feedback is amazing. I got the SR-P pedals as the CRP pedals are slightly overkill for me as someone who mainly drives street cars. SR-P pedal gas is loud if you accidentally slip your foot off of it but not when you lift off. May I ask how the brake is and if you had a wheel prior to the r9?

      @@siloedspace My previous wheel was a logitech g29. So this is a major upgrade for me. The brake is great. I know people keep saying that it's still too light for them but coming in from the g29 pedals this is super stiff for me and I like it. And I am not even using the hardest spring. R9 gives me plenty of feedback even though I could see me going to R12 for heavier cars.
