Because the character's costumes were basically just plain sweatpants and sweatshirts, my cousin and I could go into our closet and get authentic Gymkata sportswear and play Gymkata in the woods behind my house. And "play Gymkata" is not a euphemism for butt sex. We had a playset fort set up like the town of the crazies and everything.

The soundtrack does feature the band "Tantric" so I think he just edges, never actually goes over the edge. He was taught tantra/edging by Master Jim Norton.

Juan Manuel Fangio used to do the same trick with a dime, but he’d let the guy he was betting call which tire he’d have to pick it up with. Of course, this has never been confirmed, but Fangio was racing at a time where video cameras needed generators to run properly. I wouldn’t be surprised if the footage of such an event is lost to history for that reason
