I am in Ohio and I know it could possibly be different but I was injured at work and had a finger amputated. I guess I will receive a scheduled loss award but will I also get an impairment award?
Hi James - I believe so (understanding it's not Colorado). You might also be eligible for a disfigurement benefit too. I would hope that you can find an attorney there to do at least a free consultation. We do them all the time.
Your video is very interesting & appreciated I'm residing in Maryland I have an attorney due to a torn rotator cuff on the job injury just had surgery etc. What advice can you can give me related to the topic
While the laws can be similar between the States - they are different enough that I wouldn't be able to advise you on Maryland Law. Just make sure your attorney primarily does Workers Compensation (70% of the case load) and has 5 plus year of experience.
