The Prince of Egypt is one of the best animated movies EVER, and the music is incredible

You can tell the film was made with deep passion. Each scene was meticulously drawn and painted, each song was written with emotion and even to this day - religious or not, it can captivate anyone.

My mum was gravely ill with covid, we were told to prepare for her passing. A friend shared this video on Facebook and I swear it held me through the longest night. I lit a candle and just sat inside this music, these women's voices and found new faith.... Mum made it through. Thank you Cynthia and Shoshana.

I'm performing this song from Prince of Egypt in my school choir, I've grown up watching this movie many many times and it holds such a dear place in my heart. I always cry whenever I hear this, Deliver us, and River Lulaby. They're just so emotional and impacting and the music is so moving. That single trumpet in the distance at the beggining of the movie always moves me to tears when I hear it. Although I love the original and prefer it over any cover of the songs since it's very nostalgic for me, I like this version and the added lyrics give it some pizazz to it in a way. I hope you guys and anyone who's reading this right now is doing well and staying safe through these struggling times. Also if you love Prince of Egypt I suggest watching "Joseph King of Dreams". Its an amazing movie made by the same creators of Prince of Egypt. It has the same feel in a way coming from animation style and somewhat with the music too. Just recently watched it without having much knowledge of Joseph and it really shocked me. Anyways stay safe and stay home peeps!

I was casted as Moses’s mother in our school recondition of the musical “all was lipsynching” but I remember holding the baby in my arms and crying when I performed the river lullaby. It really is filled with such incredible songs.
