I love the quality within their voice's.The girl within the yellow dress has such depth within her own voice. While the girl within the blue dress has a sharp edge to hers. When they are brought together it feels like they can support each other in perfect harmony. It's like they found the perfect match.I save many live performance's like this but i gotta say that this one's my absolute favorite
The quality within their voice?! You probably don't understand singing at all! They can sing in opera, but not sing this! It's such a beautiful song and they will make this out of it ?!
The blue dress woman’s voice is not deep. Seems less developed and less matured. The yellow dress has a nice depth to her voice. Really balanced. They are both technically very good
I just had a miscarriage and this song randomly came up next when browsing. It made me cry and smile and have hope for the future. I’m ready for my miracle baby 💜
I will say a prayer for you right now. My wife had a miscarriage with our first baby. I was numb for a very long time. We were given a second miracle and now my baby boy is here with me. I can't describe the love I feel for him. There can be miracles when you believe, Never let your hope be killed. God Bless you and your family!
I am a husband, but we lost our second child in the second trimester. We eventually did get pregnant again, with much less effort than our first kid. Hope is truly frail but hard to kill. Never give up, one way or another you will get your bundle of joy. 💗

@Jacob Watson This girl sounds thirsty, but I hope she wasn’t having really sexual thoughts about him. It’s fine to crush on someone, but not where it plagues your mind.
I've never been a religious person, but The Prince of Egypt is one of my favorite movies of all time. This song never fails to make me cry. The feeling of hope is palpable when you listen to this. I really hope the musical comes to Broadway one day. I just know I'll be one of the first people in the audience.
Religion is a source of evil. But if we didn't have religion for people doing evil to hide behind, people would find another way to justify evil. This whole video reminds me of Israel's neo holocaust of the Palestinians.
I get the chills listening to them sing in Hebrew. And also how they look at each other while they sing those verses. Thousands of years of Jewish pain and hope all encapsulated into a few bars of beautiful music.
WTF, I wasn’t ready to hear that. I genuinely start crying without being able to control it when she started the ashira part... and couldn’t stop till the end... don’t know what happened there but I definitely was in it.
There’s so much power in those lyrics. They’re adapted straight from Exodus 15 when the Israelites are worshiping God for bringing them to freedom. I cry every time!

It's worth mentioning that the hebrew lyrics are part of a song sung by the hebrews as they were leaving egypt, according to the bible, called "the song of the sea". The composers for this movie took a thousands years old text and brought it back to life with sound. I'm always touched by that part.
Exodus 15:1-18 The Complete Jewish Bible tells about the time when ADONAI defeated the Pharaoh and his soldiers in the sea as His people reached dry land. Also known as 'Moses Song' then is followed with his sister Miriam's song in verses 20-21
it really is impossible for me NOT to cry when i hear (any version of) this song. This was exceptionally beautiful!! I could only imagine myself when i hear their “deliver us.” I’ll cry a river!!!!!
Listening to this is a Literal religious experience. Prince of Egypt has been a Passover staple for me for two decades now, and this just has so much joy and power, I have goosebumps.
Last year I took a class in Biblical Hebrew and I’ve loved it more than any other language I’ve learned. About a week ago for one of my classes, the professor told us to look at Exodus 15. I had my Hebrew Bible with me, so I opened it and the first verse was, “Ashira l’Adonai ki ga-oh ga-ah.” I was like HEY WAIT A MINUTE and went ahead and sure enough, the other verses in the Prince of Egypt were there. Apparently that Hebrew singing is taken directly from the song in Exodus 15 right after the Israelites crossed the Red Sea. Hope that little story puts a smile on your face. Shalom!

You are absolutely right!
The quality within their voice?! You probably don't understand singing at all! They can sing in opera, but not sing this! It's such a beautiful song and they will make this out of it ?!
@@lukasjavurek9311 huh?
The blue dress woman’s voice is not deep. Seems less developed and less matured. The yellow dress has a nice depth to her voice. Really balanced. They are both technically very good
Love the hebrew part who sang the chorus of Ashira better than wearing yellow and blue

XOXO 😇🥰
I will say a prayer for you right now. My wife had a miscarriage with our first baby. I was numb for a very long time. We were given a second miracle and now my baby boy is here with me. I can't describe the love I feel for him. There can be miracles when you believe, Never let your hope be killed. God Bless you and your family!
Condolences.
I know the pain. Praying for you!
I am a husband, but we lost our second child in the second trimester. We eventually did get pregnant again, with much less effort than our first kid. Hope is truly frail but hard to kill. Never give up, one way or another you will get your bundle of joy. 💗

I have always felt such emotion when the Hebrew part of the song starts. And the lead singer who sings the Hebrew part is amazing!

The Hebrew part is taken from Scripture- Exodus 15. No wonder it is so powerful!

Nice copy/paste
Exodus 15:1-18 The Complete Jewish Bible tells about the time when ADONAI defeated the Pharaoh and his soldiers in the sea as His people reached dry land. Also known as 'Moses Song' then is followed with his sister Miriam's song in verses 20-21

I have replayed the Ashira part so many times. What a beautiful voice she has.
So beautiful I can't get enough of it
Last year I took a class in Biblical Hebrew and I’ve loved it more than any other language I’ve learned.
Shalom!

@twistedblktrekie No it didn't lol. The color purple did a test run in Atlanta, then it went to Broadway, and lastly West End.
@twistedblktrekie No she played when they did a revitalized version. La Chanze originally played the lead. I am from Georgia and saw the original pilot performance of the show. The original was back in 2005. Also Oprah was never in the musical, she along with whoopi were in the 1980s film version.
Miss Saigon started out in London before it was on Broadway, so there's hope :-)

*Chorus* There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
Its hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
Now you will
You will when you believe...
You will when you believe
3:02-3:30 dear god that girl can be heard so clearly and her vibrato at 3:16 is AMAZING
Like it makes me want to cry just on its own.
I keep going back to listen to the Hebrew part of this song. It is just amazing! I have no words
So I just almost cried . This brought back so many memories from when I performed this with my state choir. It was such a powerful performance and perfecting the Hebrew wasn’t easy. Now I want to watch The Prince Of Egypt.
I'm bawling my eyes out so powerful and amazing GOD BLESS THESE PEOPLE✝️🕊️🙏🙌
3:00 green top the sweetest smile ever.
That’s Liam Tamne, Ramses in the show.
He is so adorable oh my goodness🥺 He just looks so happy to be surrounded by the talent of all these actors/actresses, and also he is very talented himself :)
When Queen Latifah said, "I want to hear God through you", this is what she meant.
Back here again today, I'm broken hearted boy who loving someone who doesnt even show appreciation. I need this song and the performance to encourage me at least to living the day without him. This video is my favorite place to share my feeling. Sure comeback again. Have a nice day everyone, I hope you achieve everything u deserve.
Nice to see Christine Allado back on stage. Philippines represent 😍
I love Christine Allado!! I knew she looked familiar, I first watched her from Zyrah Rose. Much support!!! I love this movie, watching them sing this song, brought me so much joy and happiness.
I cried. That was sooo beautiful. The prince solo at the end is like the cherry on top.🥹😍
