This is a great tutorial, Doug! I had Zenbeats a while back and really struggled with it because I didn't understand the thing about clip view and sequence view, among other things. This was *really* illuminating! :) Top job, indeed!

Great tutorial and LOVED the second demo song you made, totally 80s! Zenbeats is a nice DAW and the Roland sounds in ZC1 are very cool. Wish they made it a fella editable synth!

Have you tried to pair a midi controller with the app?
I would like to know if it is possible to trigger clips by pressing a specific pad from the controller for play, stop, and track selection.

I used to use the app but I gave up in the end with it far too buggy...it became a mission at times when working on songs...if it was optimised correctly on Android and Windows it could be a great app.

When I first tried it on windows a while back, it did seem buggy. I didn’t touch that version for a while and just used some on the iPad. However, I just tried the windows version again and it seems they made it more stable and usable. I still need to test out some interfaces and record vocals, as that is some of what was buggy before, but at least it seems better.

Well a samlper sounds more modern, but you can use that as a one shot.

Can you create a midi loop and change music organ

Pretty sure you can write out Midi on one instrument and then change to a different sound. Can also import and export Midi.
