  • Hi everyone, last night I attempted to do an introductory tutorial on #Zenbeats as a live stream, but had a few hiccups. Luckily, I recorded it at the same time, edited out the bad parts, and delivering it here to FB! ZenBeats is now free on IOS and Android, as well as free introductory versions for PC and OSX.
Download and watch and learn. Enjoy. #rolandathome #roland

This is a good intro video. You did what you said you'd do.
What's the quickest, easiest way to export a loop, or wave file to use in, say, Caustic or Koala Sampler?

I just checked out the Lite version on PC. It requires paying for an unlock to be able to use external VST2 and VST3 plugins. It recognizes various audio devices including the BabyFace Pro I am using with my laptop which is nice.

Can I use my midi instruments to play. Reason being I just like "Actually" feeling real keyboard keys or real drumpads on my fingers instead of a "screen"....I'm sorry everyone I'm ol skool I'm just not into the whole draw in screen touch implementations.

Great video, really helped me figure out some things that I was really struggling with in the in-app tutorials (which are terrible and not properly coded for an android phone)
If you have any more insights on using this app for song creation/production I'd love to see more

Unlocking everything cost about 150USD, I think it's worth it as it's cross platform. UI just needs some improvements.

Got Zenbeats for iPad yesterday, and the couple of times I've opened it were miserable, lol. It doesn't take app VSTs other than what's supplied with ZBs.
