@@Jebolleoma5000 you have : - teenage engineering pocket operators (po-12, po-32, po-33), - korg volca (beat, sample 1&2, drum). It really depends on your budget and/or what you want to do with it ! I personnaly began the "electronic hardware music" journey with a T.E. po-12 that is imho great value for money, but it is somehow limited. The volca offers more (especially with their midi input), but also have limitations. The most versatile piece of gear through all the ones I have mentionned are : - the sample based units (po-32, 33, volca sample), - the volca drum (but the sounds are maybe not everyone's taste). There are surely others gear, but I don't know them in details. Wish you will find a piece of gear that will fulfill your hopes !
@@bigkik thanks for the tip. Checking out Ducktronic, subscribed, great content for Acid Music lovers. Have a great day, and best wishes for your continued success :-)
yeah, if i would have seen this demo before, i would ordered the t8 directly when it was introduced;-) I've sold my tr-8 and tb-3 - now back in small in one little plastic box.
Got mine two days after they were released but they did sell out really quick defo worth it though ...it’s a little monster 👌I own most of the other aira gear and love it all 👍
Hello. Turn the distortion "on" for the bass drum. Please look at the video description, i have written the values i used for the settings for this track.
How you did the kick ? I have the Roland Aira T8 but i did not found the overdrive , can you explain me please how you build this kick drum and compliments for your video the track is so near close to the original !!!! Can u help me pls ?
Hello, you have a usefull shortcut for that : 1- press and maintain "pattern" pressed, 2- press the "A" step button (underlined "bass"). The "OdOn" sub-menu appears, 3- press "bass drum" button 4- turn the tempo/value clockwise until the "On" appears 5- press "enter" button 6- press "exit" button The "OdOn" parameter is also accesible via the menu ("shift" + "menu"). You will have also to set the overdrive ("Oddr" and "OdLu") parameters. I strongly recommend the Ducktronic chanel, he made it possible ! th-cam.com/video/wda_8L1ywMw/w-d-xo.html
All the sounds you hear are straight from the T-8 without any audio post-treatment. Furthermore, the audio you hear in this video is in mono ; I have turned to stereo for my recordings only recently so the quality you could obtain could be even better.
One of the Best tracks ever produced
Well that's the best I've heard out of this machine keep it up looking farward to the next one
Thank you ! The T-8 is a really capable machine despite its limitations.
I remember this hahaha and the smart drinks.
Nooo way I've had this song in my head for years after a hardcore event and I couldn't find it anywhere. Here it is man finally thank you 😂
Glad you found it in the end !
@@bigkik good remake too!
@@bigkik thinking about buying a t-8 because it has a battery you don't need power supply. Do you know any other battery powered drum machines?

Killer tones, with that overdrive 🎃
Yes, it is really "that" distorted sound, perfect for hard/acid techno ! The ducktronic chanel is top notch for all acid-related tracks by the way !

Thank you ! Yes, the more i play with it, the more i'm convinced by its potential. Plus it's really easy and convenient to use !
@@bigkik That's awesome, I might have to pick one up!
fantastic, have to get one
Yes, the T-8 honestly is really worth it besides its limitations. The form factor is really great for nomade use.
Ritchie would be flattered, i think. Kudos.
Well executed! love the way it is mixed, and the pattern's number choice ^^
Thank you ! By the way I can't recall if it was intentional or not !
BRAVO!!!!
How are people getting these if it says pre-order constantly on every music instrument website I go to, to find one?
Hello, I personally pre-ordered it as soon as it was announced by Roland at my usual music store. But yes they went sold out really quick.

Yes absolutely without any post processing
