Here is the small live set I played for the world music day this year.
Since I had 10 minutes allowed, I used only the Roland MC-101 and packed 3 tracks in one single project.

Bigkik - Intro (Roland MC-101)

I merged two of my tracks into this one ("meditative journey" and "relaxing loops 3"). I plan to play it to introduce my upcoming live set for the world music day. Edit : unfortunately I won't play it but imho it is a great introduction for a longer live set ;-) Recorded live with my phone using the "Open Camera" app.

Bigkik - Epic loops 1 (Arturia MicroFreak)

Here we can hear the MicroFreak for a little change. I used the S-1 solely as a sequencer. The korg NTS-1 adds reverb to the supersaw preset of the MicroFreak. The sequences are 64 steps long. The lead loop plays for the entire "track". Then bassline is added and finaly high pitch notes to add variations.

Being back after a nasty flu ;-) Some old style goa vibes here. No particular tricks ; each device plays its parts. In this video, I used a 5 steps long bassline with the Pattern sync ("P.SYn") parameter set to 'Always". Since i set the drum parts to 32 steps, the "motif" plays 6 times 2 notes and so on. To add some little variation, I randomly play with the pitch knob from time to time. Nice change of venue instead of a train. Awesome live set with just the MC-101. Too bad you could not play any longer. I sometimes miss the Roland sounds in my setup, so I might try to get another MC101 (or one of the compact Airas) again 😊.

Merci. C'est effectivement court. J'ai préféré jouer 10 minutes de musique sans blabla. J'ai joué juste avant 40 minutes dans un bar et je pense qu'il y aura d'autres performances chez eux !

Just saw a review about Korg electribe. What is your opinion? Maybe would fit to your style.
Do you mean the Electribe 2 ? I was about to pick a 2nd hand one but was worried about multiple issues (kaoss pad not working after time, bugs, noticeable sounds glitch while switching patterns...). But it has features I really like : battery power is a win for me. Being 10 years old now a new unit might be in the work (my 2 cents...). I am currently more interested in a 2nd hand digitakt 1 !

Sounds great. How do you like the POM 16? I bought one to give some more flexibilty to my Behringer 2600, but I haven't opened it yet. I discovered and have a used Squarp Pyramid coming which is more my sort of thing and also has some CV connectivity so I'm debating whether to keep or sell the POM16. Not too many videos on it.
I bought it only because of the interesting offer T.E. made. I don't use it that much since I haven't developped my eurorack setup yet. For the price i paid, i still think it was a great deal. I was also interested by the SQ-64 but decided to get the POM-16 instead. Advantages : tiny size, onboard batteries, up to 64 steps, 4 tracks Disadvantage : touch keyboard doesn't feel great ; haven't found a way to change a note in a written sequence Again, this is my thoughts after a few minutes using it for that video only. Haven't tried live play, pattern changing,...
@@bigkik Thanks for the detailed reply :) I will hang onto it for now I think - Pyramid has a single CV and Gate output, plus another CV 'env' output. POM-16 has more outputs I think, might be fun. :)

Excellent, une des plus belles productions que j’ai entendu sur MC-101. Tu réalises les mélodies sur le MC-101 ou sur un synthétiseur externe ? Je trouve le MC-101 très bon pour jouer des mélodies mais pas pour les composer dessus.
Merci, je ne sais pas si je mérite tant d'éloges ! Tout viens de la MC-101 ! Pour ce morceau, j'ai trouvé un fichier midi sur bitmidi.com. Je l'ai importé dans Bandlab il y a un petit moment déjà et j'ai du y apporter des modifications. Bandlab permet d'importer et d'exporter des pistes midi reconnaissables par la MC-101. Par contre il faut garder à l'esprit la limite des 8 mesures de la MC-101. Du coup pour cette piste en particulier, j'ai tout "recopier" à la main dans la MC-101. Astuce : j'ai utilisé une longueur de pas de 1/8 au lieu de 1/16 pour gagner du temps de saisie et n'avoir au final que 2 clips de 128 pas. Dans les cas plus simples, il est possible de directement charger un fichier midi dans la MC-101. C'est ce que j'ai fait pour le remix de 'Space X".
