- Hello, and welcome to my private home library & bookshelf tour! I have a collection of over 5,000 books with genres ranging from fantasy, science fiction, mystery, contemporary, classics, and horror. I own many horror books from authors like Stephen King and Dean Koontz, and I also have an extensive collection of Goosebumps books, Fear Street, Point Horror, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys... all those classic books from my youth. So have a seat, sip some tea, and look at some books with me!

Hi creeps! My name is Cameron Chaney. I am a horror author (see links above for info on my books) and I am also the host of Library Macabre, a BookTube channel focusing on horror, both vintage and new, indie and mainstream. You are the first booktuber I've seen with some of my dad's books on their shelves. He was published by Zebra back in the 90's, Stephen R. George.

Such an amazing library!! I especially love the Nancy Drew lunchbox! And the R.L. Stine Fear Street and Goosebumps collection. So inspiring!
Hands down! One of the best book tours I've seen and one of the most beautiful library I have every witness. I love that we have the same taste! Goosebumps were always my fav growing up! I love how you still have your childhood books. It's almost like a window seeing your childhood again, being flooded with memories. I love all the Stephen King novels! And V.C. Andrews!!!! Oh my goodness did I drool!!! Then I see newer YA books (Which, I'm not ashamed to say YA fiction is my favorite genre.) and my mouth kept dropping everytime I saw a new book I've read and loved (it was a lot). I was happy to see The Search for Wondla series!!!! I haven't met many adults like me who have read it also. I know it's for children, but that series is more lividly than a lot of adult books I've read. Lovely!! Whole video was just lovely!!! You have a new subscriber for sure!!! ^_^

Your library looks really awesome! I love how the bookshelves are arranged and customed to fit the height of the books. Plus the little knick-knacks here and there to give your shelves personality. And what I like the most is that your books are very well taken care of. I can really see the love you have for them as they still look pristine!

I have put all my dust jackets in mylar protective covers, it protects them against the damage that slowly creeps up in time. You can get it 300 foot rolls and it's well worth the fifty dollars spent.
Cheryl Millard Hi! Yes, I've covered a lot of my books with them and I'd like to cover them all. The only reason I haven't is because there's just so many and it'd take a lot of time and money. One of these days though, I'd like to cover them all. 🙂
I hear you, but I think that 1,200 more feet or 4 more rolls = $200 and I've got it "wrapped" up, that's my 2017 goal, lol!

I love those Great Illustrated Classics books you have at 13:06. My dad got them for me as a kid and now I have them all in my classroom. I love them and so do my students. I think they're great because they don't say they're "kiddy versions" of classic novels, even though they kind of are. I teach 10th grade and most of my students read on a 5-7th grade level, so I love that they can pick up a story they know of like Frankenstein or Dracula and actually be able to read it.
