- Let's tour my home library together! My private library consists of over 10,000 books spanning many literary genres, from fantasy and science fiction, to mystery/thrillers, gothic, occult and metaphysical, and the classics. But my favorite genre is horror. I have many bookshelves bursting with vintage horror paperbacks (as seen in Paperback from Hell), young adult horror books like Fear Street and Point Horror, Stephen King, and a large Goosebumps collection, just to name a few. I also have many leatherbound books, signed books, and rare first editions in my collection for those who enjoy the finer things in life, and many YA and middle grade books as well. I will also be covering all my home library decor in this video, with helpful bookshelf hacks to get the most out of your space. This is where I spend the majority of my time reading and writing, and I hope you feel at home too!

You have Angels Blood by Victor Miller! That’s my favorite book of all time. Not many people know or have that book. Miller is an excellent writer
I've almost completed Spooksville and Shivers series. Kills me every time I watch your tours I find new RL Stine books I didn't know existed. haha
There’s more Stine books out there that I don’t think anyone knows about! We’ve been researching some things here and have found some seriously deep cuts.

Love the way you've tiered the paperbacks. That's a good idea. Curious though, how do you go about organizing on the tiers?
So if authors starting with A end on the first row of books, do you start with B on the back row? Or do you start with A on the back row and B on the front? 😅
Thank you so much!! I appreciate the kind words. Good question! A’s would start in the back, B’s in the front. That being said, sometimes when I’m organizing they get switched by accident, then I have to redo them. So frustrating when that happens! 😣

This is amazing! As someone who was a kid/preteen in the late 80's/early 90's who LOVED reading, seeing your selection of all the scholastic books, R.L Stine and Christopher Pike books absolutely warms my heart and brings back a ton of memories of how much I loved those books. I hope one day to be able to remake the collection that I once had. And OMG you have all the babysitter club books 😍😍😍

These videos of yours are always inspirational! I actually used your tier suggestion for a while, but then my collection outgrew my space so I had to forego displaying my books in favor of storage. Now I'm sure there are books hidden away that I've forgotten I own. I'll be happy to have a library half as glorious as yours someday!

Amazing! No joke I know I’ve said it before but you got me into vintage horror paperbacks. I started with goosebumps and fear street but you got me into bonechillers, shivers, AYAOTD, zebra horror, point horror, Christopher pike and spooksville, fright time, etc. and I’m so greatful for the time and energy you put in your videos. I hope to have a library even a quarter as big as yours one day. I’m at about a little over 1,000 now and growing. Thanks again man and keep up the good work! And can’t wait to get autumn crow fresh hell! 🎃 I also took notes and double stacked my shelves with cardboard that I cut and taped to size and it saves so much room, thanks again!

I may have missed them on your shelf, but do you have the World's Best "True" Ghost Stories series from the early 90s? I just started buying a few of those, and also ghost books by Daniel Cohen. They are fun! Great illustrations too. You have so many vintage paperbacks, I'm wondering if you have a couple that I randomly found at a library book sale and brought home: Footsteps in the Night - Dolores Hitchens, Ellery Queen: Dead Man's Tale, or The Darkest Room by Grace Corren. They're really neat to look at, and one has old cigarette ads inside! :) They were about $.35 back in the day.

As someone who doesn’t want to “own” many books , but still has “whooping” 10 books , I find this collection so interesting to look at!!
You can tell you put a lot of care into it and are not just hoarding them for just the sake it.. walking through your collection probably feels like going through a museum. And I feel like it will outlive you as well. ❤
I wonder how you will transport them once you get your own place, since you mentioned that you live in a rented space atm

I do not hate books , in fact I actually love reading them … a bit way too much , but I just get anxiety when I look at how many I’ve read physically so I avoid owning them, I do however enjoy browsing bookstores and museums like yours 😉 .. so my was fluttering just looking at how you’re gushing over your collection

Oh my gosh, I’d never begin to know. 😂 I read constantly, but I buy books faster than I can read them, so probably not a great percentage.
I just stumbled across your channel. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. You're causing me to spend money on more books. 🙂 I used to read a lot when I was younger. It was The Hardy Boys that got me hooked on reading initially. Somewhere during high school or a bit before I got into horror. I'm especially fond of classic haunted house books, and movies, that depend more on atmosphere than gore, etc. It's been a decade or three since I've done much reading. I've been meaning to get back into it for quite a while now. I curled up yesterday with The Haunting of Gillespie House by Darcy Coates, and ended up finishing it in one sitting. I think my fondness for reading has been rekindled. It was looking for review of some of her other books that helped me stumble across your channel.

What an incredible library, Cameron! You should offer in person tours and charge for them! Like a museum. Do you have any tips on how to optimize shelf space with hardback books? They definitely take up a lot of space but I just can’t get rid of them.
