Bro great vid, got a sub from me! On one of your comments about not many TH-camrs having our cars, I couldn’t relate more. Either old channels or just don’t upload on the car anymore. Look forward to seeing your build, keep it up.
After doing this let me give some tips to people that might have trouble also. If the original charge pipe won’t come off the silicone pipe on the turbo muffler just twist it like 180 degrees. If the turbo muffler won’t come out after taking out all the screws tap it with a hammer or anything you can use and just keep trying to get it out. (The hammer tap didn’t get it out but helped break it loose). And for anyone that can’t get the screws in the rubber bushing on the new charger pipe bracket use some wd40.
When you do stuff with these rubber hoses, take some vasoline and lube up some of the hoses, it’s safe for the motor to injest if you accidentally let some get in the intake and it’ll evaporate off over time, and it helps install greatly
@@TheeGTIGuy You will bro, its a process. practice, practice, practice. grab knowledge around you and research. trail and error. If i can do it so can you
I can’t find the whole kit it’s self on the site and it’s bugging me. I’m not sure what’s right or wrong but if I provide a link can you lmk what is right ? I have a 2015 Jetta gli se. I don’t want to have to buy all parts separate. Please and thanks bro. Also you got a sub from me !
Would it be easier to get to the diverter valve from the wheel well location or go from the top?? taking out that seems like i could get to it easier but was just wondering
I installed a bov on my 2017 jetta GLI and I found it easiest to remove the entire turbo from the car because the room is very limited in that tiny engine bay
@@TheeGTIGuy i see i was confused, so in summary down pipe is the discharge pipe ? I’m new to the vw cars I had a mustang before so it’s a whole different concept to me
Hi bro, congratulations for the video and since I'm also on the subject of modifications I wanted to ask you if this kit is applicable to a 2011 Audi TT8j3 1.8 tsi Thanks in advance
Hey Bro, Honestly I have no idea but check ECStuning.com to see if the parts also fit, Audi and VW are same family so the engines should sort of be the same. Process should be similar. Best of luck to you and feel free to reach out if anything!
U need a super good clamp built specifically for intercooler hose small diameter and also i had a problem with adapter that connects to lower intercooler hose leaking so i got new ecs brand connector for intercooler hose and im thinking it will fit better than my ebay one i had
Better throttle response with the turbo outlet pipe and throttle pipe. With the turbo muffler delete you get more turbo whistle sounds as the air going through isn't being fully restricted. Overall you can notice the difference after doing the swap. Not really a gain HP mod but more of a better response and better sounds mod.
@@TheeGTIGuy I got you bro! Your video helped me out a lot, I just ordered some parts that I’m gonna put on soon! The video was really spot on with the details🔥💯

Better than that is dish washer soap diluted with water, when wet is super slippery but once it dries it sticks.
Pretty decent details dude! Thanks for the insight!

Diverter valve is under the actual intake piping for the turbo, it would be easier from the top.
I was told that the best way to get the bolts out is with a ball allan

Question for the pancake pipe replacement. Does it work with an fmic upgrade? Or would it be a waste if you get this and try upgrading?
It does work, if thr fmic piping goes to the throttle pipe
Woulda been easyer to use a ratchet wrench for the top band
Hey man I got a question I got a Jetta Gli 2017 and I’m having fitment issues with the charge pipe on the new CTS intercooler
When I got my intercooler I bought the gen3 intercooler hoses from IE. They were exactly what I needed.
So the throttle pipe, charge pipe and discharge pipe is the same thing just different name ?
No, throttle pipe is intake to intercooler, charge pipe is turbo to intercooler and discharge pipe would be the exhaust
@@TheeGTIGuy i see i was confused, so in summary down pipe is the discharge pipe ? I’m new to the vw cars I had a mustang before so it’s a whole different concept to me

I got a boost leak after doing this , I installed everything correctly. The clamp doesn’t keep the hoses tight on the new one

So I just ordered my outlet pipe but what was that other thing you installed where can I get what’s the name ?
Turbo muffler delete
Okay I’ll do that next I replace the charge pipe and my throttle pipe
how did you get the 2 t30s off from the top of the turbo muffler?
I went and unscrewed them from the engine bay.
Did you put the o ring inside the muffler delete?
Yes, I had pre installed ig
Did you order the parts separately or in one order? If separately what the exact part #?
I bought it from a guy on offerup. But just search it up on ecstuning or Eurotuning and it will pop up. Make sure it fits your car
Do you think this is the same for the 1.8 Passat?
I have no idea honestly
Can you make throttle pipe video that would help allot
I lost the clip for mine and it keeps falling off lol

Where is the throttle pipe located?
It's infront of the radiator fan, it's a pain in the butt to remove because of how hard the suction is with the coupler on the manifold.
