    Omg I enjoyed this review so much. I came for the redken but once you started about over consumption u got me hooked. You’re a smart gal. I literally feel the same way I downsized my life and my anxiety went down tremendously. It’s crazy how clutter affect mental health especially us women…we are target audience for companies.

      I’m so glad you found this helpful!! Yesss the things we accumulate can really affect us! I feel like I definitely need to downsize again soon. It’s all a process but as soon as you go back to buying less & throwing out more stuff that realistically doesn’t matter, it is so freeing! Thank you so much for your kind words 🤍

    I thought this was supposed to be a review for the Redken acidic concentrate? You used quite a bit of other products that were not there Redken acidic concentrate so the overall results that you got aren't actually true

    • @KindlyChristina
      @KindlyChristina  ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally reasonable! I’ve been on a series of a long hair journey so anyone who has been following me and the different products I have been trying knows that my hair has been super damaged and in need of moisture (especially after trying the no other products method with k18 and severely drying out my hair because of it). The bonding complex doesn’t add moisture at all and therefore I do need to add that into my hair as well to get the best results with my tried and true products. The goal is to see how it is adding it into my routine and how it differentiates from my hair when I don’t use it. I very quickly realized that the redken bonding leave-in was not what my hair needed so I would need to have additional moisture added on top. I hope this helps and I will consider your input for the future!!! Thank you!

      @@KindlyChristina yes i totally understand. I am going through the same hair Journey damaged and just really dry and it became that way from overusing a protein product kind of like you said about the K18. I did not use K18 but I used something like it and my hair was like Silk for so long.. until it wasn't. LOL. When I went to the salon actually to get my hair colored she kept looking at my hair and she finally asked me what is this coating like on your hair? And I said I don't know what do you mean and she said there's a coding and it's extremely dry I might have to use a Malibu treatment just to get it prepared to color! And I realized it was from this 'miracle stuff' I have been using full of protein! Just killed my hair🤦🏻‍♀️. I am on a journey to find a shampoo that does not make my hair turn to instant straw. I have tried everything from very expensive to very cheap and honestly the only shampoo right now that will not suck all the moisture out of my hair is a cheap drugstore one, the Herbal Essences bio renew coconut one. I don't know why or what it is but it really works well in my hair and I can't find anything else that does. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

      @@katiebelles3810 wow, thank you so much for sharing! I know how you feel. My hair is so sensitive to protein. I also couldn’t use anything except the blue herbal essences hello hydration line because it was the only thing that truly didn’t have any protein, otherwise my hair was crunchy straw! I’ve finally been able to branch out to try other products as my hair gets healthier but I know exactly how you feel! The real products that have changed my hair are the olaplex no7 oil, the no8 intense moisture mask (a dime size as after hair care), and jojoba oil. I find the jojoba oil makes my hair hydrated and soooo much healthier, the others really help my hair maintain the moisture as my hair dries out really quickly. I highly encourage to keep using products that work for you, even if they’re drug store. The right combination can be hard to find but at least you have a good starting point! I hope this could help somewhat, I really appreciate your input and if I manage to find a true miracle product, I’ll definitely keep you updated!!

    Redken acidic bonding concentrate intensive treatment is by far superior to Olaplex and K18. The entire range of Redken acidic bonding; shampoo, conditioner, mask and leave in treatment is amazing. Using this range has saved my dry, frizzy and damaged hair. Go check out the Blow out professor who also agrees just how superior the Redken range is compared to Olaplex and K18.😊

    You should just be using the Redken for a honest review so your not going to see how it worked at all

      hi! Thanks so much for the input!! I just looked at the bottle and it says to apply to damp hair but didn't specify whether to wash before or not. Out of best practice for my hair, I clarify beforehand but I'm sure it could be used without washing as well! Thanks for your comment!

      Yes it definitely says to use before shampoo and conditioner and it’s a pre treatment idk if you really did research on it. If you use other products right before it especially not from the same line your putting an extra layer of stuff it’s trying to get through especially if you don’t completely wash out the other products first.

    Will the leave in conditioner still be effective if I use other brands’ shampoo and conditioner??

    • @KindlyChristina
      @KindlyChristina  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I believe so! I personally didn’t love the leave-in but a fantastic alternative is the Shea Moisture Spray Leave-In (I’ve found it cheaper at marshall’s!)

  • @SarahSmith-ym9ri
    @SarahSmith-ym9ri ปีที่แล้ว

    How would you if the shampoo and conditioner is truly effective if you have included a conditioning treatment?

    • @KindlyChristina
      @KindlyChristina  ปีที่แล้ว

      hi! Not sure if I quite understand what you’re asking but I’ll try my best!! I definitely could try a conditioning treatment, i’m sure it would help some (as they generally do) but I like to put the products themselves into practice to see how they work best for me. I like to try to put the products themselves to test as best i can without any outside interferences where I can to determine how the product itself works if that makes sense!
