I cannot figure out how to get the belt around the tensioner wheel. The wheel is attached to the base and there is no way to get one part of the belt through the space between the base and the wheel. One part of belt runs from tensioner wheel to back wheel then to wheel on opposite side from tensioner just like in the diagram. Does the tensioner wheel have to be removed?

I guess mine isn't a 50" because I can't remove my foot deck. (no stickers identifying deck size)

Your belt diagram is different than my xmark diagram.

I finally fixed it. Mine only has one belt through tensioner then to back then to opposite side of deck. This necessitated loosening the support for the tensioner wheel so that I could route the one belt through the tensioner support to back wheel. This was easy to loosen the two bolts so that I could get the belt through the tensioner support bracket. Your belt goes through then back the same way. Mine only goes through one time. Anyway that was the trick on my deck. Just be sure which model deck you have. Mine says Triton 46. Oh and my diagram also has the part numbers for each of the 3 size belts. My diagram was buried under years of dirt and grime but I found it.
