Jubilee has the potential to be a really great channel, but their debates are always incredibly hard to follow because they DO NOT MODERATE!!! If they had a moderator who was capable of actually doing the job these videos would be so much better. People screaming over each other is not a debate. It’s a grating shouting match.
Edit to clarify: Many people have been commenting that they don’t want a moderator because they want everyone to have the chance to speak - I agree. That’s exactly WHY you need a moderator, whether it’s a proper debate or simply a heated discussion. I want everyone to have an equal opportunity to talk and not have to constantly say “Can you please stop interrupting me?” “Can I please finish my statement?” “Can I please answer the actual prompt?”
They shouldn’t have to fight to speak. A moderator isn’t there to censor, (when done correctly) they’re there to ensure that everyone on the panel has an equal opportunity to speak.

The fact that one of the Israelis mentioned partying (seems like parties and music festivals are a frequent thing over there) while Palestinians are barely living a stable life just says it all. It is clear from this interview and after seeing other interviews with Israelis (in parks, the beach and mall) that they're living a much more privilaged life with many of them not knowing anything about politics or history.

I will definitley have to do more research to fully be able to undestand the situation at hand. But even so I believe I could not take one side because both have their reasons, as shown in the video, both sides feel wronged so we cannot deny those feelings. Ariel repeatedly interrupted everyone else, even when he didn't really have anything to add to the conversation other than 'I don't believe that'. If I was organizing debates like these I wouldn't allow people to interrupt each other from either side, maybe there's one microphone, and each person takes turns, perhaps politely raise their hand to speak next if they have something else to add. Its a respect issue and it's a practical issue. This is supposed to be a discussion, and I can't understand anything being said in the moments where there are 2,3, or 4 people talking over each other, all at once.

Every money that comes officially to Gaza, has first to go through Israel. Every food that comes to or out of Gaza has to be approved by Israel. Egypt also follows Israel commands.
Even crazier before oct 7th, Israel had controlled the calorie intake for the population and limits entry of imports to below average needs for humans. Obviously Gaza also provides some of the food for their people, but generally they have to rely on Israel, because they control their every border.
As an occuppying force, they are also obliged to keep the occupied party nourished or else it again is considered a war crime under international law. They obviously can lift the almost 20yr siege of Gaza and let them get food and water from other sources.

@@Chugor8361 I said more supported not completely. I'm not denying the existence of antisemitic people in the west or in the pro-Palestinian movement but its certain not the majority of protesters and they should still be given the freedom to criticize a government thats committing atrocities just like people are free to condemn Hamas without it being anti-palestinian.
