My local library won't even accept CDs and DVDs as donations. They haven't for years, which I found very short-sighted, but maybe it was due to trying to keep up with the right disc going into the sleeves and folders. Anyway, I've probably given away well over a hundred mostly classical music. I used to belong to one of those 'record clubs'. Good haul. My favorite Nirvana is "In Utero," but "Incesticide" is worth having for Kurt Cobain's liner notes alone. He tells all the cretinous frat bros who were coming to their shows after "Nevermind" to go away and stop buying their music. I'd never seen a popular musician do that before. Basically, he's addressing the same bigots he'd sung about on "In Bloom": "He's the one who likes all our pretty songs/And he likes to sing along/And he likes to shoot his gun/But he knows not what it means..." It was around this time that I saw Nirvana at an arena show (I'd previously only seen them only in clubs and small theaters) where some in the crowd cheered and laughed during "Polly," so I understood what he was talking about...
