The McIntosh is understandably the piece that gets the most attention. It is a beauty. I've had a similar problem with my Sota Comet turntable which I enjoyed for 30 years. When I recently upgraded to a pre- owned Sota Sapphire that problem disappeared and the sound improved across the board! I'm completely sold on inner suspension turntables! They totally eliminate feedback and resonances. On another note this comes from a 64 year old Black man O.G music lover and audiophile. I've seen some of the weird disdainful comments you've received. To all music lovers and hi-fi enthusiasts the world over, let's just enjoy the music and our systems. I like to decompress and enjoy the music after work. This hobby is truly diverse and inclusive. I enjoy viewing other people"s systems on TH-cam regardless of price. Let's leave the ignorances of the world behind!
Thank you for your kind words and for your support. I agree with you that this hobby is one that pulls together all genders, ethnicities, races, and walks of life. I love seeing what other people are listening to and with, regardless of their investment or where they are in their vinyl collecting journey. We’re all united under the passion of music, and why that cannot transcend across the internet is beyond me. The vinyl community is the one place I can rely on to escape the negativity within the world. It’s simply a shame that a few try to bring down others within the community, luckily there are folks like yourself that keep the positive energy alive. I hope you enjoy the heck out of that SOTA Sapphire. If you don’t mine me asking, with over 30 years of collecting, what’s some of your most cherished/meaningful possessions?
@@VinylLatte Greetings my fellow music loving audiophile.👍I have a few autographed lp's and cd's by EPMD, Jazz musicians Walter Beasley and the late legendary Herbie Mann. I also have a few of the first limited edition gold cd's, color and photo vinyl lp's. My present system: Maggie 1.6's, biamped with a Conrad Johnson mv55 for midrange and treble with a Adcom 555 mk2 for bass, 2 Vandersteen 2w subwoofers, Rogue Audio Perseus Magnum preamplifier, Rotel cd14 mk2 cd player, NAD 4255 tuner, a Tascam cd-rw900sl pro cd player/recorder, Sota Sapphire turntable with Grado Opus3, and Sumiko cartridges, Furman and Audioquest power conditioners. I enjoy Jazz, Classical, Rock, R&B, Reggae, classic Hip-hop and Blues. I'm a comics fan (Marvel only!) and have a sizable collection. Just for laughs, I'm single as wives and girlfriends (Including my present one) interfere with the pursuit of sonic accuracy!🤣 They would have me listening to cheap ass Bluetooth speakers and sound bars if it were up to them!🤣 You my friend have a real treasure, a wife who's obviosly understanding of us and our sometimes crazy hobby. Hey there, fellow audiophile! 😉 Wow, your collection sounds incredible! Those autographed LPs and CDs by EPMD, Walter Beasley, and Herbie Mann must be real treasures. And your system setup is absolutely impressive-I'd live to hear that turntable and cartridge combination, I bet it sounds amazing. 🎶 Your taste in music is right up my alley too; it's great to see such a diverse range of genres in your collection. I got a good laugh from your commend about significant others and the pursuit of sonic accuracy-it's so true! I'm fortunate to have a supportive wife who understands the passion, though I do have to take her shopping from time to time to keep the peace. 🤣 Thanks for sharing, and keep enjoying the music. Talk to you later! Cheers!
Thanks for the tour. One question: You say you have 50,000 CDs ripped for play through the Eversolo DMP-A6? That's got to be many TBs worth of hard drive/SSD space if you use "lossless" compression like FLAC or ALAC. (I do the same and play burned CDs through Roon using a MacMini and a Cambridge Audio DAC into various '70s vintage amps for a warm analog sound I like.) If you use external drives for storage, do they simply plug into the Eversolo via USB? If so, where do you keep them?
You're welcome! Please allow me to start with an apology. I ment to say that I have 50,000 tracks, as seen on the display. I've ripped just under 5,700 CDs. All those files are stored on a M.2 NVME SSD drive. The 6A Master Edition can support up to a 4TB drive. It can also connect to a network server. I have a Synology server that I use that has a copy of my music, and I used to stream from it before I added the SSD. Today, I have the storage on the DMP connected to a Roon Nucleus One server, which can also take an additional drive. In short, you can store up to 4TB locally using an NVME drive, and/or connect to a network server for even more storage. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Very nice system and room. You mentioned one of the most important points and that is not to allow power wires to touch interconnects, which keeps the noise floor down.
Thank you 🙏 The SugarCube is an essential piece of hardware for me. It transforms older, noisy records into an enjoyable listen. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Great room tour. Why did you buy the zazen series of isolation platforms? Your turntable only weighs about 10 lb and the zazan one does between 15 and 25 lb. You would have been much better off to just buy their individual footers and put them underneath your turntable then buying the platform that you bought, that supports 25 to 40 lb. You need to be in that weight range for it to work optimally. You should sell that zazan and go buy ISO acoustics Orea footers. pay attention to what ones you buy because the ones you buy depend on what weight you're going to put on them.
Thanks for watching! The ZaZen was purchased for a different component, and I repurposed it under the turntable to address a footfall issue I was having. It resolved the problem, thus I kept it in place. Today, I have the turntable resting on a set of Stack Audio AUVA EQs and couldn't be happier. I plan to provide a review of them in the near future.
Thank you for your kind comments. The 252 is an absolutely gorgeous amp. As much as I love it, I’m tempted to upgrade to the 352. Have you ever compared the two? I haven’t yet!
Did you say Preamp in the video unless I didn't hear it right? I was wondering because I use the built-in phono section even though it doesn't go through the tubes, like many of their products. The sound is fantastic. Now, if I used an MC TT, I would use the balanced inputs on the amp and get a tube preamp for it. Discogs is dreaming on some things. Just my opinion. But if you want something, they come through. We have 3 excellent record stores around here. The Humminguru is nice as well. I use it on everything, especially new vinyl.
I looked at it first but took the difference and bought their XR50 speakers. They are like Me & Mrs. Jones. They have a thing going on. Around 70%, this setup rocks the joint, and I have to be careful about the neighbors. You can not go wrong either way, and the 252 is worth almost what you paid for it. If you sell it, do it yourself. That being said, those meters are just, well...
Yes sir. The Hana Umami is a low output MC cartridge and requires a preamp. I use the Parasound JC3+, but have a short list of future upgrades I’m evaluating. Currently, the Manley Steelhead is on top. 😉

The MA252 is super simple to use. You can control the volume or source via the nob control or remote. The ES is also easy to use. You can control the unit through the touchscreen or app. There is a gap in feature parity, whereas there are more options on the touchscreen than the app. You can control the volume on the unit itself or have the MA252 be the master volume control (this is what I do). Once you have your sources configured, it should be fairly easy to control. 👍
Hi Billa! My current power conditioning needs an upgrade. I've been saving to do a video on this topic once I decide on what I will be upgrading to! Hopefully you'll subscribe and stay tuned as I have more hardware reviews coming in the near future 😉
Hi, I am at the beginning stages of planning to build a stereo system and the furniture to hold the equipment. In particular, for the shelving for both components and records. Did you get all shelving for your stereo components and records from Ikea? Also, could you put all components, the amps and the other big components into a cubby hole or would I have to put them on top the unit because they would not fit? And how do you connect the seperate cube units together? Did you just slide them next to each other? Seriously, whatever you did, when I saw this video, I knew this is what I need to do with my room and is how I want my room to look like. I would appreciate any advice given. I am subscribed and appreciate your new channel. Thanks
Hi Robert! The shelving indeed come from Ikea. I am using their Kallax product line. The first shelf in the video is their 2x2 (four cubes) model. The large back wall is made up with two of their 5x5 offerings, providing me with fifty cubes of storage. I simply placed each shelf next to each other which fit perfectly against the wall in my 12x12 room. The final shelf is their 2x4 option, proving me with eight additional cubes. I house my equipment on top of the 2x4 and used wire management (Amazon) on the back of the unit to keep power and audio cable separate from each other, and when necessary, crossing at a "t". The 2x2 and 2x4 both have the optional Kallax stand. It allows the shelves to lift off the floor and the legs can manage the weight of the records and the equipment. As for the hardware placement, I have been conscious on what hardware I purchase as it needs to fit my space. This has presented some challenges as I passed up on certain hardware solely because it wouldn't fit in the space I have allocated. I am contemplating swapping the 2x2 and 2x4, putting the 2x4 vertical, and purchasing an audio rack to seat next to the 2x2 cube. The audio rack would allow me to purchase virtually any gear I wanted without being worried about dimensions or weight. Ikea used to sell a shelf that looked like the Kallax 2x4 but had an additional horizontal shelf that spanned across the top with a support structure in the middle. This would allow you to put hardware under the top shelf. Perhaps I would go that route if I did it over again, however, I'm happy with the setup as-is. I will likely move to an McIntosh 352 amp and the Manley Steelhead pre-amplifer. Those two using should fit in the space I have now, the only concern would be managing the Manley's massive power supply (first-world problems, I know). I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can answer any more questions, and thanks for stopping by!
@@VinylLatte You should try 3 to 6 feet from the wall why do so many folks who post about audio have speakers in the wrong place? Sound stage will be so much better with your speakers away from the wall. In my little room 11ft x 12ft my Merlin TSM are 44in from the back wall and REL sub is in the right corner. Give it a go.
Hey VL…Nice set-up. Wow, though crowd. I don’t doubt your #’s. The sky’s the limit with this hobby. Lot’s of fancy boxes in that rig. And those new records are spendy. Not the world I live in. But, if you’ve got the means. Go for it. I figure I could probably get 1500 bucks and a bag of used 45 adapters for my records..😂..and I’ve been collecting for over 40yrs. Keep on spinning.🍻 I’ll be putting some content up this fall. Hope you’ll check it out. Got an old Mc rig I think you’ll appreciate…
Thanks mate! Tough crowds come with the internet 🤷😉 After collecting for over 40 years, I can’t wait to see your content! You probably have some albums with some really cool stories attached! Thanks for being a supporter, and I look forward to returning the favor when you get back to pumping out content! 🙌
Don't hate. I pulled numbers off discogs. I can't control that certain records are now worth stupids amount of money. I didn't price the value on them, buyers and sellers did.
I am a little shocked that you would spend so much money on the analogue experience only to send the audio signal through the SweetVinyl SugarCube SC-1 Mini, which is a digital filter. Not saying that it doesn't sound good, I never tried one. It just would personally bother me knowing my analogue signal is going through an A/D converter. But if that doesn't bother you that's all that matters. Awesome audio room. Thanks for the tour.
Fair callout! When bypass is enabled, it’s a hard bypass-meaning, the audio does not get processed by the SugarCube. With that said, I struggle to hear any difference when it is enabled. I spend countless hours playing around, doing A/B comparisons and realized after that I wasted a ton of time. If there’s enough interest, I’ll do a video on this in the future. For now, bypass FTW. 😉
At this point, I don't see the need. When I listen to digital it's usually in the background or for comparisons. The EverSolo seems more than capable; it has dual ES9038Q2M DAC.
Stacked to high dude especially if you are living in California like I do. Myself I have 3500 vinyl records and 2500 cds. All the cds are placed in real wood bookcases. For vinyl I would never purchase any type of item to put together for vinyls. I buy my own wood to make 8 foot long room dividers. Two stack high is good enough height for them. But hey what ever works for you. Thanks for reading my comment (from 976-CREOLEMAN).
Thank you. Sorry if I wasn’t clear. It haps a preamp for MM cartridges, but I don’t use it because I have an MC cartridge and the Parasound. The rest 🤷♂️
No sir. I’m hoping to move in the near future and plan to have a proper media room. For now, I’m not investing in room treatments until I am in a permanent spot.
@@VinylLatteyour records are only 'worth' the discogs price if you're prepared to spend the five required years listing and selling them individually.
Or rebuying... right? If I lose my records, I would need to repurchase them. Unfortunately, even record stores price based on Discogs these days. So, if I went out today to purchase everything I have, it would be a very large amount of money.
Records have gotten crazy expensive, especially 1st pressings and limited editions. I try to justify it as my only hobby. But yeah, it’s easy to go overboard anymore. 🫣💸😉 Thanks for watching!
Yea not even close, there’s a lot wrong with that room and speaker placement. I get what he trying to do with this video but it just makes him look like an ass
Great question! I'm working on upgrading what I have. The power conditioner was sized a while back and I've upgraded nearly everything since then. I'm evaluating options that will fit the space. As you can see, there's not a lot of room to play with 😉

Don’t think you should advertise the value of your collection. We are living in very unsafe times. A word of advice. Don’t put that out there. There are many jealous and underprivileged people that can do harm. Stay safe.
Getting rid of my Eric Clapton records was so gratifying. I no longer support artists that are unable to keep their personal political beliefs to themselves. Just shut up and play guitar. Roger Waters will be next on the chopping block. I enjoy music as an art expression, not interested in their politics. Random post.
I hear you. Separating the artist from the art can be challenging. In my humble opinion, politics ruin so much in our world today, and I refuse to allow it to ruin my enjoyment of music. I want to enjoy the tunes without the drama. However, I completely respect those that only support artists who align with their values. Good luck with the purge!

Hi @Vinyl Latte
Could you pls tell where can we find your listening chair ?
Hi! It’s the Akeem Upholstered Accent Chair with Ottoman purchased from Wayfair. 👍

Nice rig! Any power conditioning? What power cords?
Nice system, but you should move the speakers out from the wall it will sound much better.
Thank you! They are 13 inches from the back wall 😉
Keep on spinning.🍻
I’ll be putting some content up this fall. Hope you’ll check it out. Got an old Mc rig I think you’ll appreciate…
Thanks mate! Tough crowds come with the internet 🤷😉
After collecting for over 40 years, I can’t wait to see your content! You probably have some albums with some really cool stories attached!
Thanks for being a supporter, and I look forward to returning the favor when you get back to pumping out content! 🙌
What is the piece to the right of the Eversolo?
That is the Rega P10 power supply 👍
Lovely music room 😻
Thank you!
Very nice setup! Love it
Thanks!
How do you keep such a large collection of LPs clean?
HumminGuru is my best friend 😉
"Full transparency" ... your collection is probably worth a tenth of what you're claiming.
Don't hate. I pulled numbers off discogs. I can't control that certain records are now worth stupids amount of money. I didn't price the value on them, buyers and sellers did.
Only worth what people are willing to pay for it. Like most collectibles.
sick Setup !!!
Thank you 🙏
Allergic to Cats 🐈!!!!! Hope this video doesn’t make me sneeze 🤧
😂😂😂
Didn't see your vinyl cleaning setup?
Great catch! I have a HumminGuru setup in another room. I plan to do a “cleaning ritual” video in the near future. Stay tuned!
In the final process, the signal is sent back out to the amp in analog format. I believe it's endorsed by Michael Fremer of Analog Planet.
@@bobdeherrera5158 Spot on. Although, I didn't realize Fremer reviewed a SugarCube, I'll have to look that up!
Amazing.
Thank you! Cheers!
r2r is the ultimate
Won’t argue there! EVENTUALLY I’ll dive into the world of R2R, I still have some goals in the vinyl realm first 👍. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for inviting us into your vinyl room! Lovely set up.
Thanks for coming along! 🙏
You should get a high end dac.
Uhhhh ok….
🤔
Better be something other than KEF for that kind of money
Speakers MSRP for $15k. 👍
Nice system, but just to clarify the MA252 is not a preamp, and sounds like you said stylish instead of stylus.
Thank you. Sorry if I wasn’t clear. It haps a preamp for MM cartridges, but I don’t use it because I have an MC cartridge and the Parasound. The rest 🤷♂️
No room treatment?
No sir. I’m hoping to move in the near future and plan to have a proper media room. For now, I’m not investing in room treatments until I am in a permanent spot.
I have about 2500 records plus I have a telescope.
🤘
No way that setup is worth that much my setup crushes this and not even close to 200k😂
Yea. I skipped right to that part & almost bust out laughing! Legend in his own mind he is.
As I mentioned in the beginning of the video, the amount is the discogs value of the records plus the hardware. 👍
Nice room and set up enjoyed the video. Wish I had the amount of disposable income you must have with most vinyl 30 pound each now!
Records have gotten crazy expensive, especially 1st pressings and limited editions. I try to justify it as my only hobby. But yeah, it’s easy to go overboard anymore. 🫣💸😉 Thanks for watching!
Awesome rig
Thank you sir!
That’s no where near worth 200K. You’re overvaluing your collection on Discogs.
Yea not even close, there’s a lot wrong with that room and speaker placement. I get what he trying to do with this video but it just makes him look like an ass
No overvaluing. I collect a lot of rare and first pressings, I just don't break them out like most. 👍
Be nice 😊
@@VinylLatte you deleted my comment… can’t handle criticism I see, well good luck with this channel, you’ll be lucky to get 5k subscribers

No power conditioning?
Great question! I'm working on upgrading what I have. The power conditioner was sized a while back and I've upgraded nearly everything since then. I'm evaluating options that will fit the space. As you can see, there's not a lot of room to play with 😉
I recommend Puritan audio PSM 156
Oh... that seems to be the perfect size! Thanks for sharing. I will definitely look into this option. 🙏
Nice gear and room but c’mon now, nowhere close to 100k, not to mention 200k.
Thanks! As I mentioned in the beginning of the video, the amount is the discogs value of the records plus the hardware. 👍
It's probably his collection of Romanian albums that bump the value up!😂
@@paulhickey6896My wife is Romanian and those albums are from her family, passed down to us. I have a lot of OG, 1st press, AP, MOFI, Speakers Corner, Impex, etc. Unlike most YTers that break them out to brag about them, I keep them all alphabetical, only breaking out the box sets.
Don’t think you should advertise the value of your collection. We are living in very unsafe times. A word of advice. Don’t put that out there. There are many jealous and underprivileged people that can do harm. Stay safe.
Christina Aguilera,Lady Gaga...oh lord🤮
🤣
Move the speakers away from the unit, then toe them inwards towards your chair. Thank me later.
They are in the best position the space will allow, thanks. 👍
Get a heavy curtain on that window.
Already done 😉
Purchased an acoustic curtain and added some room treatment-big difference 😉
Well organized. However, Another vinyl hoarder without criteria
Just because I have wide musical taste doesn’t mean I don’t have strict criteria on what I bring in. I’m very picky.
bring me on out anutha box of dat there goodie mob
😂
Don't brag.
The intent wasn’t to brag, but to address questions about the room that I receive on nearly a daily basis. If you’re speaking about the title and thumb, unfortunately, with YT, you have to do what you have to do to grow. 📈
$200K? 😅😆😂
Your wife and or kids will be grateful when their getting a dollar a piece for them in your last garage or estate sale when your gone.
Why be a jerk?
eversolo is as poor audio quality
As an analogue guy, the DMP-6A ME suites my needs.

Vinyl ?????....ha ha ha....are you kidding me with that ancient way of playing music.....ridiculous. I am 67 yrs old.....been there done that. Vinyl sucks in every way
Hey Peter, thanks for sharing your perspective! It’s great that you’ve experienced vinyl firsthand. While it might not be everyone’s go-to format, many people appreciate its unique sound and tactile experience. Music has evolved in so many ways, and vinyl is just one option that resonates with different listeners. To each their own, right?
