I hope you guys enjoyed it! It's definitely a bit different then the normal opinions of the community, but overall I don't think anything is too crazy, just a bit weird, I certainly underrated some characters on here, but it's really hard to rank everyone, SSF2's balancing is pretty tricky.

tails of _all_ characters having a bad recovery is just so comically ironic for me
yea it's funny to the point it hurts because I was legit a tails player then he got kinda gutted >
Tails' recovery got changed the most out of any character in SSF2. He went from having a hover and a vertical up B, to having no height on up B and x10 gravity on his jumps. I wonder if the devs will ever find inner peace with Tails lol
would realistically have the best recovery but nope, devs decided he shall now suck

@@woodledoodle7961 My idea is that Bomberman’s bombs can be placed anywhere (even in the air) and will explode in a T shape after a certain amount of time and his Neutral, Side and Up Special place them down in different ways. Neutral just placing it down normally, Side kicking it forward and Up having you jump off of it and be allowed to act out of that jump. Down is a remote bomb. They also create chain reactions and you can only have three normal bombs and one remote bomb at a time.

I haven't SSF2 in a long time, Ness looks really cool. That respite and the effects on his moves look sick
The only thing missing to me is that cool effects he have in ultimate in his A neutral, here looks so... normal x')

Dude I thought Chibi Robo was jacked! Up throw Up air killing ludicrous. Back air being so big and killing. His neutral B being able to wall off lots of characters like Luffy. Having amazing aerials. Grab can even grab people from platforms or under if tilted and his recovery not the best was somewhat solid.
Even if his Pocket is buggy and even if he is somewaht light. I still think Chibi Robo is a least mid tier.
Also in my opinion, I think Wario is high tier. From my experience of playing him a bit. Waft can kill with one confirm. He does suffer froma bit of laggy moves, but his aerial and air speed is solid. Up air really good at juggling and combo along with Up-B as a finisher. Shame that not a lot of people play him. I think a lot of people are sleeping on him because I see him as high tier worthy.
Also what is the Luffy infinite? Anyone has a clip of it?
I think it's just side-b over and over again until they die to the blastzone. Works better on bigger characters
I personally would LOVE to main Krystal but my controller is literally too bad to play a game like SSF2. Still, she's a character that immediately clicked when I picked her up. She's sooooo fun. Kudos to the devs to just making her so fun.

I know this might sound weird but have you considered uh, using the keyboard? I personally use it with some minor adjustments on where buttons are mapped and it work quite well for me.
I'm just waiting for Tails' Whirlwind to return. Down B has almost no use outside of Pseudo Wavedashing. Or at least I never use it enough.
I disagree with some picks, like i think isaac is A instead of S, but still great video man! Enjoyed all of it

Link as an S tier that is awesome, link has been my main in the earlier smash games before cloud came along, im definitely maining link in ssf2 cause he’s awesome.
I'm glad pichu is up there in B tier. My main has really gotten better lol.
As a link main from melee and watching this random video it’s so weird seeing link this good is funny
I started playing SSF2 a couple weeks ago, and after trying all the characters Peach immediately stood out to me as my favorite. I mained her in Brawl, and this game feels a lot like Brawl+ (but better) and I mained her there too, so she feels natural. Doing fast float cancels feels so fluid and I love her combo game.
I main Sora because I like the aerial attacks.

Ganondorf is actually godlike in only one fan game: Super smash bros crusade there he has a full custom moveset and they gave him PROJECTILES AND THE POWER TO FLY

No one talking about how hard you threw that Kirby match
Did you know Ness has a very opponent dependent “infinite.” Your opponent has to be knocked down but not have teaches, you then PK Fire after, then you have to either be right next to the PK Fire or your opponent has to have very bad SDI out of the PK Fire, then you make sure you get on the side the PK Fire isn’t on, and down air, if you did it correctly, you’re opponent will be knowcked down again and they can’t tech out of it and repeat.
Finally some justice for zss. When I picked her up, everywhere she was considered C or D because she just doesn't hit like a track. However she is fast, flexible, can recover very well, good offensive and defensive, has combo potential and her two spike moves can finish matches very fast, even at low percents.
I kinda like playing as kirby,since his down-B is GREAT to cancel up combos(a combo where the combo'er makes the opponent get into the air and the combo'er keeps attacking the opponent with his up attacks),and black mage's charged side attack does FREAKING 30 DAMAGE,his charged up attack is also good when your enemy is with like 50 damage.
sandbag being a good character gives me joy
The thing about Marth's tipper is that, yeah, it's hard to land, but being killed at 60% from the center of FD bcz Marth landed you a tipped forward smash at 1/3 of charge more than make up for it, he also have aerial combos for days and is super fast on the ground, his aerials seems to have a far easier time hitting tippers which don't kill but rack up insane damage for the time the enemy thinks in getting close to him on the ground to be smacked to the blast zone by a tipped f-smash, f-tilt, up tilt, up special, neutral special (that don't even need to hit tipper to kill reliably) or countered when trying to recover or land safely after being juggled for almost a minute.
Edit: about the aerials being easier to hit, maybe it's just the fact that I play him for some time now so my spacing is good enough and he also have good aerial mobility

I feel like there are no low tiers in the game.
Only Top Tiers, High Tiers, and Mid Tiers.
Maybe Kirby and Tails are Low Tiers but that's it.
I’ve started getting back into SSF2, and I’ll be honest, playing as Sora made me think that he’s really really good, but that’s probably because I’m playing against CPU’s lmao
Also hearing the new Rivals of Aether music in the background gives me life. I’ve said this so many times, but ROA OC’s deserve more love, and I’m so happy that some of the coolest OC’s (even one of my friend’s lol) got into the game

Honestly, i think Chibi-Robo has a great moveset, he's not a particular character who have to much combos to make, in fact, he's really fun and have a lot of kill confirms (even though i have to agree that Uair is a little broken) but is not to bad at all
Are you going to do a stream when the new kirby game comes out (in co op) where you play as bandana dee? I would skip school for it.
As someone who mains Lloyd, Link, and Isaac, and pockets Ryu, I'm plesantly surprised.

I think I would like to make a counterargument for Kirby being in F tier and should be put in D tier, Kirby has one of the better combo games + copy abilities which in certain matchups would make Kirby way better, Kirby's lightweight makes Kirby very hard to combo, has really good edgegaurding which makes characters with virtually no recovery die, and one of the better downtilts. However I do agree that currently Kirby needs better mobility, and a few of his moves needs buffs (neutral special needing less endlag, air side b needing to actually hit both sides, dair needing less startup lag, etc).
It shocks me to see Kirby at such a low tier because he can just use his up b onstage and get a free spike against a good amount of characters which goes with where you were saying that he can edgeguard very well. I don't know if it is a me problem but I constantly find myself having a hard time fighting him and just constantly getting cheesed by his up b at the ledge.
@@dreparkermk161 The thing about up b is that while it's a really good move in Kirby's arsenal (the spike as you said and the projectile that comes up for it allows Kirby to do more spacing) however a major flaw in this move is that it offers no protection from the back and while Kirby can move a bit while doing this move once Kirby lands there's nothing stopping the opponent to attack, also the startup lag could pose a problem however I don't usually find problems with the startup lag

my main is Link and he is 2nd in top tier
Kirby being low tier is expected at this point and its sad for me since Kirby is my main no matter the game
so i havent checked on ssf2 in a few years and the most surprising thing about this tierlist is marth being outside of the top 3

Ganondorf is really good, but yeah, is pretty difficult to plau because he is more of an no error in timing character, but if you don't consider that, his attacks are pretty strong and he has the advanthe of not being big like bowser, the other problem that is found is that his dash special attack is mostly useless but that being said, i think his zoning and other attacks arebpretty good though.
But i understand that the others are way WAYYY to insane to make ganon be an strong character so, yeah he really is D
Sorry for saying that just to reaffirm what he said, i just recently played the game but i just wanted to say my oppinion on this and i think that if thu change his special dash to something like his up special he will be pretty amazing and will rank on C-B

Mario, Luigi, Pikachu and Bandana Dee will forever be my favourite characters.
I used to be a Zelda main bc she can deflect moves with her diamond special, and she is strong. But she is so slow to the point that sometimes she cant even move bc people are attacking her way quicker than she can react that I gave up on her. Now trying out Black Mage for once, bc he can pause. Going against my dad bc he likes the game (But has 0 platforming skills at least I have 0.00.001% lol.

Bowser the one who cant really escape air (as one good move for it and its kinda of hard to use)

I would argue that bowser is waaay too high. Although he has combos, and kills early, his landing lag and inability to properly attack shields from the air make him not that good of a character. also he gets camped like crazy.

I love the rivals update music! Its my main game, i just hit 1000 hours on it. Aso all my mains are in the bottom half. Kirby, puff, pit, pika, the only solid one is pichu.

my favorite character is sonic, he destroys any character and i had a lot of experience with him, simply radical and it's very easy for you to dominate the game with him, i soloed any cpu with this character, a pity i never had the opportunity to play online and I stopped playing and my notebook shouldn't run ssf2 so meh, but I recommend you play as sonic and it's very good and you can make incredible combos and the best combo finisher for sure and oh kick down, (which I think it was nerfed but it's still pretty stolen) if you do a downward kick the bro loses his skull and falls to the bottom of the void of Minecraft and doesn't come back to life xd

Well, in my experience this is one of the best balance Kirby has been, although everyone in this game is either still too fast or have some insane hitboxes in their moves.

Granted Naruto is my main, I picked up Dee And Tails as secondaries who can handle the small or projectile cast that snuff out my Naruto.
Tails has GODLIKE horizontal movement on stage. But the fear of going off stage limits his kit SO MUCH because _too_ much horizontal movement puts you in a place where you can't recover. You can't defend yourself off stage either.
The best way I have found to recover is jump, spindash, jump, repeat. But then your recovery becomes predictable so sometimes it's just curtains. Tails bot is fine just GIVE TAILS HIGHER JUMPS AND LESS FALL SPEED
how are still able to play flash i thought the support engine does not support flash
It's only the browser plugin that isn't supported, downloadable games that run older versions of Flash still work
