When the video is only 10 minutes long, adn there is always an into+outro you knows its going to be fast.
The car is a beast going straight, but the speed around the bends is normal. Much bellow of what this caliber of machinery can achieve.

@@TheCommentator112 speed around the turns are not that fast. Achievable with much less expensive machinery, with no downforce, and worst tires.

I have recently been on the nürburgring with a ringtaxi 992 gt3. I had been in pieces by excitment and adrenaline before my lap began and i was even more shocked during the lap and after. Compared to how brutal this lap was,you still seem to control your excitment and adrenaline,even tho it was surely a way more brutal lap than mine,and i just bursted into hard laughing and happines during my lap. Amazing
He's done it 20,000 times.
@@HoratioHoodoo plus this lap the driver did an easy lap, not pushing hard. I don't blame him at all tho, because it scares me too

Mclarens suspension is amazing. Compared to their competitors.
It will be a different story with Aventador. That thing is bouncing happy to the point making you paranoid that it will snap at some point and immediately sent you to the wall.

I need to push hard to reach above 240 to Schwedenkreuz and this driver in his 765LT is camly coasting and casaually reaching near 260. What a machine.
I've seen hundreds of ring laps but I have to say this one left me quite on the edge, worried for the driver and passenger's safety.
To begin with, I didn't feel confident in the way the driver was holding the steering wheel, missed the racing line and apex's at almost 50% of the corners. The good thing is that this car was insanely planted and as the driver was feeding in the power quite late out of corners, the car didn't snap into oversteer on him and let the back end loose. Anyway this video still shows how capable the 765LT is even though the driver was just scraping the surface of what this car can actually achieve.

It's crazy how much play you have in these seats... I thought they would be very narrow but you have way more body movement in these seats than I thought (i.e. in Hatzenbach).
And that look of yours at 4:54 which says "now that's a bit fast and wide for this corner...." :D

Saw this guy Last Week in Wiesbaden, cruising trough the City. At First i thought my exhaust was cracked. Then i saw him driving in Front of a „Sprinter“. Couldnt See it First.

I think the 765LT has been dialed in by McLaren since launch. Bet this thing could beat the stock GT2RS lap time. Maybe even the MR and Black Series.
Black Series Merc easily beat but the 911 GT2RS will be fight, but the Mclaren will beat that too. The power, the legendary suspension and that advanced aero makes it one of the fastest cars you can buy for track work - probably the fastest from the factory
Nice video. You know I had to compare this video to when you drove the 600LT and even though the 600 car is technically inferior to the 765LT, you drove it harder. 😎 600LT @ 280 KMH at approaching Schwedenkreuz while COASTING (because of the BMW infront) while this guy in the 765LT was barely touching 263 KMH.
Surprisingly enough, similar lap times were achieved, while this one did not even try it. Puts things in perspective.

Very nice car. I was waiting for Misha to give suggestions and corrections throughout the course. As a former high performance driving instructor myself, I could see plenty of opportunities to make suggestions to work the track much more.

Mclaren are like Ferrari if they cared about the Nurburgring they would be a huge threat to other competitors I think the 765lt for sure can do the same time as a gt2 rs

For sure. But Porsche has had permanent facilities on the Ring for 50 years and Mclaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini has not.
Faster, honestly. The 765LT will easily out-accelerate a GT2 RS (the 765LT traps a solid 12+mph faster than the Porsche, which is just absurd consider the Porsche is already a fast car), so if they can just get the downforce and chassis tuning right, you'd beat the RS just based on the fact that you can get between corners faster and exit them faster.

those lines... those load shifts in corners.... braking over the jump at Pflanzgarten... definately are reasons for some concern and not just a lifted eye-brow like at adenauer forst or grumpy face at Metzgesfeld 2. The driver really needs to step up his game
Some sections I did feel uncomfortable, not gonna lie, but then again, I became a bad passenger.

Are the rumors that McLaren will run out this body with a very limited "R" model that sits way above even this 765LT true? Similar to how they did a limited run of 620 R MSO cars... So maybe it could be called the 800R MSO? If they do it will be ungodly quick and they'll probably make sure that it's faster than the new Ferrari SF90 XX..
you gotta give it to mclaren... even though they have their 'just mclaren things...', they time and time again make this visceral yet polished cars. they just scratch an itch that only mclaren can scratch. man, what i'd give to drive one some day

Car is a beast when he's on throttle, you can tell it's tried to kill him countless times... Couldn't tell if he was fighting for grip through turns . Seemed timid a bit, hell of a drive tho

Hi Misha long time fan and subscriber here. I have a few questions. I totally understand why the driver would want his face blurred out, but whats the need to blur the speed out and especially if you clearly can she how fast he's going. And also isn't it perfectly legal to drive on the nurburgring? Or is this just a youtube speed restrictions thing?
I noticed that too. The camera autofocused on the stitching on the dashboard, blurring the speedometer display. So it wasn't blurred out in editing of the video. 😊👍

I've never been to the Ring, but I've done hundreds of laps around it on IRacing. You can totally tell who is taking it easy and who is pushing by where they are on/off throttle. I know exactly what it takes to make a 6:50 ish lap.
