Pretty good video! I would also just add once you start the vehicle and are revving the motor and letting it idle you can keep going even when the vehicle gets up to temp what you really need to worry more on is making sure the front and rear heaters are blowing out HOT air insuring no air pockets in the heater cores then allow the engine to cool or until the coolant in the expansion tank lowers to cold fill throw the cap on and go for a drive. And I was working on a 2012 lr4 v8 worked good 👍

Hello, can this procedure be used for a Discovery 4 2010?

Yep, I have the exact same, Disco 4 2010 3.0L Diesel, I managed to bleed the air out of the system, exactly the same as in the video

Set heater controls to maximum temperature? What is this referring to?

This is referring to the cabin temperature controls

Strange, fluid volume is 15l.... you barely drained 5l...

3000 revs per minute for 1 minute! It redlines at 4500! In other words, thrash your cold engine! Great!

This is the bleeding procedure described by Land Rover. They must know what they're doing....

@@HaynesManuals aye they must do, given their track record of building perfect engines 🤣

Sounds high but it's quite normal to get the engine up to temp.
Alternatively you can idle for over 30mins and hope you don't have to do it all over again

Is this the same process for 2014 Range Rover sport?
