    having made a bunch of videos on our LR3 build I can appreciate your approach to clear concise execution as well as taking the time to get proper camera angles and all. I'm too lazy to do all that and it still takes me a long time to make a video. Kudos to all your info. So helpful to the Land Rover community.

      It definitely takes four times as long to complete a task so thank you for noticing.

    I have learned more from your videos than I have from all the other LR TH-camr's combined. I have owned (and currently own) an LR3, two LR4's and a Range Rover Supercharged. With the cost of a good LR technician approaching $150/hour, your channel has been a godsend to me. Thank you so much an keep up your excellent and, dare I say, inspiring work!

    Oh and what I've learned is your average person who really cares is better than most "mechanics". Even if they don't know something initially, it's their vehicle and they invest the time to do things right; and life is all about learning new things anyway.

    Great video and excellent quality production as always. I did this on mine last year but had to resort to changing the heater matrix as it was still blocked. Found it a really easy job in the end 😁

    I've fought with brittle coolant plastic on a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder and, to a lesser extent, a 2013 Infiniti G37. The problem on the Pathfinder was pretty server, with a large component having to be replaced. It crumbled in 2013 and again in 2022. At that point, I found an aftermarket, all metal solution that cost the same as the Fischer-Price Plastic part from Nissan. I'm in process of repairing an LR4, so I hope to find durable options when stuff like this happens. Looks like you decided the OEM/LR part was the best option, so maybe I'll be stuck with those, too.

      Be sure to bleed the system of air with the bleeder valve located on top of the engine (connected to a small hose).

    When do you think the second part will be posted? I am in the same boat and just hooked up the gap tool to see if the blend motors where adjusting correctly. They look like they are adjusting correctly so I was headed to the next part either replacing or flushing the heater core. Thanks for all you do.

    Sorry to say but I had same issue no heat after I flush my system but I did replace all my holes trust me they are brittle you won't know it until you touch or disturb them , the one I haven't replaced is the one with the metal cap by throttle body , I'm waiting for someone maybe you show how to replace it 😁, my plan is to replace my heater core only and leave the tubes in fire wall undisturbed due having mine break off also , but the quickest what is keeping tubes in place off of heater core undo tubes from core pull out and stick new core in same location extremely rare that tubes off heater core bad , but on a lr3 I am not sure what in the way of getting to it , but I may. Just do a flush I got no heat and Ac issues too I live in Texas it get very hot like naveda you can only drink so much ice cold beer 😀

    • @wafflesquare

      Hi Steven. It came with the vehicle so I have no information on it. It clips in on top but the bottom is loose as I demonstrated in episode one. When I fix it, I will try to find the manufacturer and post a video.

    Do you have the bleed procedure for this vehicle?

    • @wafflesquare
      @wafflesquare  ปีที่แล้ว

      In episode two I use a vacuum kit to refill the coolant system. This method greatly reduces the possibility of air bubbles in the system. Nonetheless, there should be an air bleed valve at the top of the engine that looks like this: amzn.to/3MyF2qf

      Be sure to bleed the system of any air bubbles. On the very top of the engine there should be a bleeder valve on a small rubber hose.
