I love it. Passed that place so many time but have never stopped myself. Time for another trip to Cherokee. That place has been there forever!! Lol. Love the Cherokee videos. My parents always took us kids there. And iv e taken my kids and grandkids. I'm like a kid myself when I get over there. Sad the chief passed away a while back. You could go to the museum and talk to him. He was one of few fluent in the Cherokee language.

I love these videos of Cherokee. We went every summer when I was growing up. I remember we'd get so excited when we'd come up on the whitewater rafting cause that meant we were getting close to our motel. Now my parents take all their grandkids with them when they go. This makes me wish I was a kid again!!

At a Gem Mine place in Pigeon Forge many moons ago an employee there told us the dirt actually comes from an area in Franklin, NC known to be plentiful with gemstones. It’s a lot of fun. Those were very nice Amethyst and Garnet Dawn got. Thank you for the fun video!

I went to Cherokee, N.C years ago in the 1960's. There was a amusement park called "Ghost town in the Sky". There's a sky lift to take you up a hill, where there was rides, and a western town. There was also real Cherokee Indians who were dressed in there native costumes and did there Indian dance. That was very exciting to watch 50 years ago. I'm sorry but it doesn't exist anymore 😔 .

Your work in the mountains and surrounding areas is great. Don't ever stop. It helps keep memories alive. I'm 65 and have spent mo st of my life coming to and loving the mountains. Even though I have my own pictures and videos, yours sometimes make me feel like I'm in my childhood again. You like a lot of things I liked growing up. 😊

You have to stop by and get some fudge from Mr Thomas at Country Maid Fudge. It's across the street from the fort in the middle of town. He has the best fudge. Also if you like apples and almost anything you can make from them. Barber's Orchard on Old Balsam Rd is great.

From as far back as I can remember up to about when I was 17 my family spent at least 2 weekends a month and a week vacation in Cherokee or Maggie Valley. I've been back a couple times on my on and I'm taking a friend this year that's never been. I know it's different than years ago but a lot is still the same. I subscribed to your channel because ya'll are doing things we plan on doing. I'm so excited
