The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers (broadcast between 1986 and 1989) is an American animated Space Western television series created by Robert Mandell and Gaylord Entertainment Company.
The theme song for the show, "No Guts, No Glory," was featured in the opening credits preceded by a spoken introduction. The song was written and composed by Phil Galdston and John Van Tongeren, and performed by Van Tongeren using the stage name Johnny Vancouver. The song was also featured in the end credits.

They really don't. The plots, the animation quality, voice acting is hit or miss at times but the characters were excellent, particularly Goose.

The deatb of the Saturday cartoons was derailed. Telvisoion broadcast was mandated and had to be e, I compliant (educational and informative. This defeates the purpose, cartoons are used to entertain, not educated. We had school for that.

What was Rock n Cops? i dont remember that one.
Rock'n'Cop was a show about a teen named Rico from the 80's, fleeing from the police who lost control over his VW beetle and time warped into the future. There he crashed with his beetle into future police officer Claude's hover car.
After some wild chases they somehow became a team together with a hot nun working for the police to fight Neo-Crime, a mysterious powerful organization that tries to find out Rico's time traveling superpower and use it for their own evil plans.
Rock'n'Cop was great and imo on the same level as Galaxy Rangers. Both awesome but story wise completely different.

I was born in 1993 in the republic of Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 I know this amazing show was a from the 80s but it aired on our local channels and this was my absolute favorite cartoon.... They don't make gems like this anymore

What's great about this cartoon is the care taken in character development , for example in the 80's the African American charter was always the muscle bound side kick, but in Galaxy rangers he's the doctor/scientist and the smartest guy on the team.

actually, he was smart, but i remember him also being unlucky, always trying to hang to girsl, and always being rejected or becoming the comic relief. This show had a very interesting background story, and put a lot of care in designing characters and ships, but imo ultimately failed on the stories
The irony of all the Woke B.S today. We had better minority characters yesterday than today. We have characters of every shade under the sun today. With little to no personalty at all. Other than their identity/ {For the record am not White} I hate what's being pushed today as "Diversity & Inclusiveness." When I hear that phrase. Fuck this is getting worse than the adaptation of gatchman into battle of the planets. For the record, it was a quite violent anime of the 70, that when came in america was cut and edited so that there was no blood or deads anymore (and it also lost around 20 episodes on the way)

Galaxy Rangers, Saber Rider, Thundercats, BraveStarr and all these 80's Series were epic..but from all these Series, Galaxy Rangers Intro Music was definitly the best.

This is my childhood, i loved it every second because those cartoons inspired me to become a better person. Saber Rider, Galaxy Rangers, Silverhawks, Bravestarr, Thundercats.. those were inspiring cartoons not like the ones nowadays that get pumped in our children. Those cartoons gave me the feeling that i can be that hero, i can be that person that makes a change. If i look at the cartoons nowadays they don't have a message that inspires you.
Remember He-man explaining valuable lessons at the end of every episode?!?! It was just great!
I have all 65 episodes on DVD. Still watch it and love it to this day. My favorite cartoon of all times.

I'm 52 and I loved this show and the music back in the 80's! Can't get enough! Rock on!
I started working, and I stumbled upon 80s cartoona intros, and they are a whole Playlist, some of these i started singing subconsciously.
I have no idea why this was recommended to me 7 years after it's been uploaded. - Yet here I am, a grown-ass man feeling like a kid again and admiring the beauty of the animations and the vibe of the music. This was art still.
80's and early 90's toons have a charm to them that has been lost in the rush to just churn out dreck as fast as possible, so while before something like Adventure Time's art would have been interesting and unique, now everything is doing something similar and it kills it. I may be biased as I was born in the mid 80's and grew up on 80's reruns and the best of the 90's toons and very early anime making it's way over from Japan like Gatchaman and Golion..Battle of the Planets and Voltron in the States. Now everything is churned out so quickly that art style and the work put into it has just gone out the window and don't even get me started on intros...if you're lucky enough to get one.
I am 43 years old today......and i got this video recommended today..... took me back to 1989 when this series was broadcasted in Germany.....that was a better time.

Fun facts: Laura Dean voiced the G1 Twilight in the 1980s My Little Pony series, and did voice work on Robert Mandell’s Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers as Niko alongside fellow Jewel Riders actress Corinne Orr (and Peter Fernandez too)! All actors would go on to voice characters in Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders.
