M.A.S.K theme song written by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy with vocals by Larry Leon.
M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) is a special task force led by Matt Trakker, who operate transforming armored vehicles in their ongoing battle against the criminal organization V.E.N.O.M. If I close my eyes I am immediately a ten year old kid again in elementary school as soon as the intro plays. holy moly. I am transported back to my parents house in the mid 80's. I am almost 50 years old now. we had it so good back then and did not even realize it or appreciate it.

I used to watch this Show with my Dad. I always Remember finishing my Homework and He'd Sit with me and watch it. I love this Cartoon.

They should have used this in The Fast and Furious! That franchise knocked off this series!
This was one of my favorite cartoons. I never did get any of their toys though because my parents wouldn't buy them for me lol. I had primarily Transformers and GI Joe toys with a few SilverHawks action figures as well. Wish I had the MASK toys too.
Still have some of the MASK toys up the attic of my parents home. Had the gas station base, the red car with gulwing doors, the green helicopter bike, the blue bike with sidecar and somekind of truck (the cab over version). Got it second hand in the mid 90s.
MASK: Let's combine GI Joe and Transformers and see in anyone notices. hahha. Those were the days!
MASK is actually in the same universe as G.I Joe and Transformers now that Hasbro owns the property.

a pretty damn impessive edit! nice to know i'm not the only one who loves to do this kind of stuff. My only criticisim here is that the music is mixed too loud, and occasionally the sound effects. other than that, concept wise it's fantastic, same with the editing. Absolutly love the use of the original sound effects as well! you've earnt a sub!

Loved this show as a kid! But now the lyrics 'working overtime fighting crime' as an adult makes me laugh. As if I'm looking at my watch and think 'damn, working late again because all these crimes, better call the wife I'm late.'
Before videotapes were ubiquitous, when you could make a third of your show the theme tune and we didn't mind cause we hadn't seen it in a week!

This is easily the best cartoon theme song of all time! I’ve always thought this song could have been a hit if it was released and advertised seriously! The guy was singing his ass off!
Too bad the editor left the sound effects & voices of the scenes as the song played. Kind of ruined it. I would have liked to hear the song isolated.

However, his tranquility is shattered when VENOM launches a coordinated attack on multiple cities. Matt receives a distress call from the M.A.S.K. headquarters. It's time to assemble the team.
Introduction to Team: The core M.A.S.K. members-Dusty Hayes, Gloria Baker, Brad Turner, and Alex Sector-are introduced, each engaging in their personal lives before being urgently called to action. They converge at the M.A.S.K. base, where Matt briefs them on the escalating global threat posed by VENOM.
Act 2: The Hunt for the Artifacts
M.A.S.K. discovers that VENOM is after three ancient artifacts that, when combined, have the power to control the elements and bend nature to one's will. These artifacts are hidden in the most treacherous places on Earth: a sunken temple in the Pacific, a fortress in the Himalayas, and a labyrinthine cave in the Amazon.
Race Against Time: The movie dives into an intense, globe-trotting adventure. M.A.S.K. splits into teams to locate and secure the artifacts before VENOM does. Each mission is filled with high-stakes action sequences, vehicular combat, and clever use of their transforming vehicles and masks.

This cartoon had good music, animation, and vehicles. I just always found a few faults that frustrated me:
1) the bad guys are stupid. When they even know MASK would ambush them, they would still go ahead with their plans.
2) MASK was always overpowered. They would sometimes have 12 good guy vehicles vs. just 3 or 4 bad guy vehicles. So i didnt see the balance
3) MASK is so stupid. Despite overpowering the bad guys 3 to 1 on many shows, the bad guys always escapes at the end of the episode.
