Ramrod is one of the coolest mecha.. it feels like the design that in the same time ends an era of daimos-like looking robots and enter the gundam era, because it have more complex look, and I like how he have part of his shuttle on the back as a jetpack instead of thrusters only in the foots. Rly one of the most badass looking robots from that era
I`m 27 and i was watching every single episode from this cartoon 3 years ago..And the fucking theme song brings me back the memory in my early age when i was staring the TV waiting for the cartoon to begin every weekend
I loved the moment which went something like this "The (temporary) peace treaty with the outriders forced us to disassemble Ramrod. But it did not forbid us to build an even more powerful 2nd version." And then Ramrod 2 flying into battle, being in flight mode already as powerful as Ramrod 1 in challenge mode.

This cartoon and Voltron were the animated Power Rangers of the 80s. Loved the Western theme of the show, too!!
