Thats the best part of Thailand is that there is something for folks of all budget types. You can take a 30-40 dollar taxi straight to the door of your hotel, you can take a minivan, or the big air conditioned bus for 10% of that cost. Just need a place to lie your head Adam got a place for less than 7 dollars, but you could also stay at the hardrock for 100, or The Wave for 150, I usually opt for a condo for about 20 dollars a night. Ive had some great meals in Pattaya and some cheap and some not so cheap but still beats a night out in the US.

The problem with the back seat in the bus is being next to the toilet.
What is it with people not being able to do a 1-2 hour trip (bus, train, plane) without needing to take a dump???
You did well to avoid falling into the TH-camr trap of "can I live on $XXX a month (or day)?"....
The correct question is "HOW would I live on $XXX a month (or day)". You could live on $0 if you wanted to sleep on the beach/street and beg for food...!
This was the correct way to go about it. WHAT do you get for a certain budget?

    • @dickyou3842
