@@guigui78340 1st Edition (so, It's comparable to PURE (252 PS)), A110 PURE current setting Is for "drift and fun" but you can easily modify to make it "sharp and precise" ;-)

初期型が出て30年経つNSX。
タイプSだってモデューロでリフレッシュしてても20年は経過してる。
その車が、今の時代の車と走っても肩を並べるんだからね。
当時NSXが凄過ぎたのか、やっと時代が追いついて追い越したのかって思う
MR Racing have a setup with the A110 with KW suspension and Dunlop Direzza dealing with a much powerfull GT4 in nurburgring, the car in stock form is very supple and fun.
*to be honest that nsx type-s still looks sexy for its age in this current time. even you add 20 more years to that car it will still looks cool like a katana.*

Looks like the main issue holding back the A110 are the tires.
it had perfect road tires not touge time attack ones because its a road car and its a best road car compared to other 2 - i owned both 3 ended up with a110

First time I've seen new Hot Version in years and it threw me off just seeing Tanaguchi and Orido and Tsuchiya as Nob and Max and DK.
put same tyres on all 3 - would be interesting to see the difference minus tyre choice
Interested to see any Japanese tuning companies getting their hands on the 718 Cayman and start developing parts for it as the market is very scarce right now. Even my car right now, I only have the basic of suspension, brakes and tires. Its a great chassis to work on and that understeer, Nob and DK are talking about can be tuned out with just alignment.
Not sure where you are located, but there are tons of parts for the 718 platform, ECU tunes, brakes, suspension, exhausts, etc. Just go to the usual Porsche forums and you will find many leads (UK, Europe as well as the US)
@@twoslow2speed2000 I've done all the cookie cutter parts already. I'm talking more specifically with a better intercooler core, intercooler heat exchangers, etc. which nobody makes unfortunately.

I am dying to see a proper Japanese tuned A110 now
Version "S" of the Alpine A110 is the answer. It has stiffer suspensions and good grip tires.
The sway bars are different and the key to shift the balance of the car towards something more neutral and effective on the S. Everyone who drove both versions agree it's a bit less progressive on the limit though.
The new NXS that's like the old NSX is the Lotus Evora GT

I don't surprise the result because the newest Boxer is modern car which has many electronic systems to assist driver on the best tracking. So it's not fair to compare with classic car.
Yea soon they philosophize only about possible fun when cars came out where the driver don't need to do anything for a perfekt lap and only old people like driving themselves 🤣 .

FWIW: The cars are usually tested with PSM/TC off at Gunsai. So no electronic nannies present besides the active suspension management used on the PASM struts.

現行110欲しいなぁ…この中では購入の敷居は幾らか低いんだけど…
中古でA110 1970~73年式見たら値段はほぼASKで1台だけ980万円…手が届きません😇
今だと1600CCの程度良いもので2000万近くしてしまいます、198万の時代が羨ましいです。

6:37 ケイマンは前後のサス形式をマクファーソンストラットに統一してるところがこのロールバランスの良さを生み出す根幹なような気がする。インプレッサなんかも前後ストラットだったGG系までの頃の方が前後のロールバランスは良かったように思う。ストラットだからとかダブルウィッシュボーンだからどうではなくて、ジオメトリー変化特性が大きく異なるサスペンション同士を前後に配置する際にはそれなりに設計段階であわせ込める技術がないと良いロールバランスを出す事は難しいのでは?と感じる。その点ポルシェはその技術力があるのにも関わらず前後マクファーソンストラットを採用する辺りが確信犯的で凄い。
FWIW, the strut based rear suspension on the Cayman suffers from bump steer when it is loaded and at the limit of adhesion, what Tsuchiya-san experienced at Gunsai is a bit different from what you will find at the track. The 981/718 cars all require a rear bump steer kit to prevent substantial rear toe changes that can have serious consequences at the track.

What's wrong with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres? I'm asking because they're supposed to be a very good set for that use. Any thoughts?
Nothing wrong with them and are great for street use. Im not sure how they classify tires in japan but in usa its classified as a Max performance summer tire which is 1 tier lower than the best tier street tires known as extreme summer performance tire.
Semi slicks would be the fastest streetable tire but isn't normally considered a street tire, automakers usually don't roll their cars off the factory with anything above extreme summer tires. After that you got full on race slicks which is not street legal.
@@0j00n the nsx looked like it had some semi slicks on tho, so its understandable why they noted the tires used on the a110 in comparison
Keep in mind, these are not the PS4S tires that replaced the Pilot Super Sports. These are the PS4 base tire, which is a much less aggressive tire. PS4S tires would have been much better here. The NSX had tires closer to the Sport Cup 2 in terms of tread softness.
its a great road tire, especially on the rain or when cold, it has lot of grip even on +3-5 C asphalt wet or dry
